Everything! Inside and out, the home is beyond stunning yet cosy and welcoming. The breakfast choices are phenomenal. The actual breakfast itself was perfection! Fresh fruit, coffee/tea, muffins…just amazing. Our room was gorgeous, the bed was more comfortable than our own! We enjoyed the information Kelly gave us about the home and it’s history as well as chatting in the morning. We booked a second trip before we left.

Can’t think of a single thing! Honestly, the entire weekend was delightful and just what we needed. Don’t change a thing, please.

Saravilla is amazingly beautiful. Even though the home was built in 1894 it has been lovingly restored and updated. The room was comfortable. Kelly the owner was very gregarious and informative. We enjoyed our breakfast chats every morning. He knew quite a bit about the original owner and was very knowledgeable about the houses history. Great accommodations for the price and will definitely be staying again the next time we are in town to visit family.

There are so many Bed & Breakfast establishments to book when you're travelling, however the opportunity to experience one of these grand old mansions overnight was wonderful. It was fascinating to learn about the opulence of this bygone era. Saravilla is managed by the "hands on" owners who have a genuine understanding of hospitality and made us feel most welcome. The entire home was clean and our room was comfortable and inviting. We had our 7 and 8 year old grandchildren with us so this was a lovely experience for them too. When we arrived they went from room to room complimenting Kelly on his beautiful "big house". When we were sitting out on the porch the children kept asking to go back inside! Breakfast was great! Options included quiche, bacon & eggs, baked french toast. Fresh fruit, orange juice and home baked muffins were also served in the grand dining room. Very pleasant stay!!

This place is beautiful. It has Original woodwork throughout the 11000 sq feet of home. The innkeeper was very knowledgeable about the history and very hospitable. The breakfast was amazing. We had friendly lil visitors there to say hi. (2 kittens and a very small friendly dog) Would recommend and plan on returning...

There was not one thing that I can think of, it was all perfect.

What's not to like about this stunning home and the wonderful hospitality? I had a magical evening sitting in the cushioned chairs on the deep Victorian porch. In the morning, I woke to the sound of the rain out my casement window. Breakfast was delicious (veggie quiche with muffins, coffee, fruit, and orange juice), and chatting with my host and another guest in a pristine Victorian dining room was an ideal start to my workday. I hope that work will take me to the neighborhood again so that I can stay at Saravilla.

I loved everything. But I was surprised not to have been notified about the cats on the booking site. I am very allergic, so they were a surprise, but the felines were perfectly well mannered, and I had no allergy issues as my room and bathroom were spotless.

We were greeted warmly by the innkeepers. Kelly gave us a tour of the facility and shared the history of the home that was built in 1894. He gave tips for local restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was included and was served in the dining room with other guests. The meal was excellent and served on fine China. We had not stayed at a B&B before and it was an interesting experience. We enjoyed it.

Each room had a private bath but it was across the hall from the room.

If you have an appreciation for history and turn of the century architectural design this is a must. I’m personally a fan of supporting local small businesses over big corporate names, over the top appreciative of the staff and stay, thanks again!

Breakfast in main dining, lovely presentation and delicious! Home baked muffins to start, fresh coffee and juice and great portion sizes.

The breakfast was very good! Cozy atmosphere. It was very nice talking with the host. We had a good conversation.
