DoubleTree by Hilton Bay City - Riverfront

For our first stay, it was perfect in every way and worth every penny. We headed straight to the spa and pool after we arrived and enjoyed a relaxing time. We had a beautiful view of the river from our room. After our event, we went to the hotel bar and lounge for a wonderful dinner with drinks. The breakfast buffet was exceptional! We loved the bread pudding. The staff throughout were great. A shout out to Andrew, our waiter at breakfast, for taking good care of us at breakfast. After check out, we stayed awhile to walk along the river and enjoy the beautiful fall day. It was a magical visit that my husband and I will remember.

Stayed here so we could attend a concert. The location was great and had easy access to downtown and to both riverside parks. Veteran's Memorial Park was across the river (a 7-minute walk across the bridge), and Wenonah Park was across the parking lot. There were ample places to eat and drink all within a few minutes walk. The hotel had a pool though we did not use it. There was also an in-house bar and restaurant but we didn't use their service. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. Our view was nice with an overlook of the Saginaw River. The room was clean. Breakfast was good. Would stay here again when traveling through Bay City.

No complaints from us. Was a great stay.

This is our 2nd time staying here and it didn't dissappoint. The staff was great, the elevator and hallways smelled GREAT, the room was just right, and the bed was comfortable.

We had breakfast buffet the next morning, not many options. I wanted a latte, not an option. When we paid (cash) we waited a long time for change to be provided. We were getting close to checkout time and we still needed to pack out stuff.

it was in a great location by lots of fun little shops in downtown. we loved the pool elevator being separate from the main elevator. the pool was great. hot tub was great. over all a good time.

the beds were a little lumpy and not very comfortable. parking was horrible, with all the snow and the parking lot not being plowed well there were lots of cars double parked which lead to no spots. when we first got there we didn’t receive cookies as advertised. the first night, there was kids throwing towels full of snow from outside into the pool and hot tub, when brought to the workers attention they said they were getting security which they never did.

I did not get the breakfast. It was $15 extra. There were two weddings going on at the same time, so it was really busy. What I like the most is it was right next to the water front. The pool was nice and they have a playground for the kids.

Beds and pillows sucked. Really expensive.

This was a great place to stay. Excellent location on the riverfront. Very comfortable beds, Very clean and great staff. it was very quiet as well even though there was a dance competition going on we never heard any noise from the hallway.

No free continental breakfast option. When my husband asked when the breakfast was, he was told it wasn’t free and that we had to pay. I had a coupon with my room key that said “free breakfast”. I think the hotel didn’t know that I earned it from booking

beautiful views along the river. Just walk out the from lobby, and you can walk along the river to town, shops, restaurants— in both directions! ( N and S). you can jog and run. Also next to the eve music in the park. A fine restaurant st the hotel. nice rooms

The breakfast buffet was amazing. We liked that we were able to add made to order items like pancakes and french toast at no additional cost. The location was beautiful. Staff were nice and stored our bikes for us so that we didn't have to leave them on our car.

Only down fall were all the weddings taking place, so it was crowded. We even had a hard time getting a cart to transport our luggage.

Disappointed that our 2 beds were so small. It ruined the illusion . Made the room look cheap as I was trying to give my elderly mom amore grand feeling.. In our biannual trips, we have only had queen beds which makes the room look so much better. Also, we were only given 1 washcloth and couldn't leave mom in room to go downstairs to get more. MEANT FOR "DIDN'T LIKE" box

Liked having the view, clean room and bathroom
