Hampton Inn Southfield/West Bloomfield

Average hotel breakfast as far as taste, buffet style, well stocked i.e. some hotels run out of plastic flatware, not the case here. Tables were kept wiped down. I would like to have seen more fresh fruit on the buffet.

If you aren't eligible for special hotel rates, fees can get pretty pricey. Most Hampton Inn's will include bottled water throughout your stay. Not this location. You get one bottle of water at check-in. That was most disappointing, especially when the rates are as high as they are for this location. what's a bottle of water for your guest every day?

The rooms were very clean and well kept. Nice pool area and workout room. Breakfast was good. Hot and cold items was offered. They were out of waffles and the cook made some more just for me. I really appreciate it. Awesome staff, above and beyond my expectations.

Due to having a bad night I requested a room by the elevators or one with not far to walk. However, my room was a little further than I liked. It ended up being on the 3rd floor and the last one at the end of the hall. Also, the toilets could be a little taller. Other than that everything was perfect.

The staff are amazing, very friendly and inviting. The coffee and hotchocolate station is a nice touch. The kids love a warm drink after swimming. The pool is average, the workout room is fantastic. Clean, new equipment - topnotch.

The room could have been cleaner, details like vacuuming behind the curtain would help. Overall not too bad though.

The staff was absolutely amazing! Very warm, welcoming, polite, and helpful. The whole hotel was extremely clean without the strong cleaning product smell and laid out nicely. The room and especially the bathroom were spacious and comfortable. 10/10 will stay there again!

We had a billing issue, but the staff found it and fixed it!

I've stayed here alot as I travel to Michigan once a month, and after searching and staying at various hotels in the area, I found this hotel to be the nicest and cleanest for a reasonable price.

Could have a more wide ranging breakfast menu. Room cleaning could be better but I understood the restrictions from the pandemic.

I enjoyed the (free) breakfast that had many good choices. Friendly staff Clean rooms Small refridgerator, microwave and coffee maker and much more Swimming Pool, laundry facility, vending machines close to rooms Plug accessibility to charge phones Comfortable beds and pillows Relaxed enviroment all around

Very good free complimentary breakfast (hot and cold breakfast items available including coffee/tea/cocoa, fresh DIY made waffles, bacon, breakfast potatoes, pastries and breakfast breads, cold and hot cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit. The pool was nice, clean and warm. The fitness room was well maintained and equipped with many things. Room was clean, temp controlled and soft bed. Noise was not an issue. Vending and ice on each floor.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

I completely LOVED EVERYTHING at this location! From the first moment I stepped in the door.. I LOVED the fresh lemon water that was available as well… I will definitely be back.

I didn’t like that it wasn’t enough of certain food items readily available during breakfast. that’s my ONLY dislike.

Met Ms Gipson, the Area Manager for long term Stay, The General Manager, The Assistant General Manager. The entire Staff were kind and did an excellent job of assisting me during my stay and future planning for a stay.

Staff was amazing, breakfast was great. They even had gluten free, dairy free options Mt daughter could eat. Room was clean and comfortable. Pool was nice and was heated.
