Breakfast was good and provided real silverware and real plates and cups. However, I wish they didn't close breakfast at 9:00. The restaurant room was also a lounge with a gas fireplace and was comfortable. Everyone spoke English well. I've never been in a moderately priced motel like this which paid so much attention to detail. Also Fremont is a nice town with a lovely lake; it is historically significant as the birthplace and location of the largest baby food manufacturer in the world, Gerber.

Hard to find anything to criticize about Harrington Inn. They forgot nothing. They did have a TV linking system where you were supposed to be able to use an app on your smart phone and get "many channels free" However I wasted my time on this and couldn't get it to complete but not before I had been asked to provide my credit card number.

The staff was all extremely happy and friendly. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the Inn itself just very nice and quaint. I was surprised by the quality of the breakfast and the amenities. We stayed after a day at Michigan's Adventure, it was a little out of the way but definitely worth it for the price and quality of the hotel, we were surprised how nice it was! My husband told me I won the "vacation win award" for finding and booking this place :)

My only suggestion would be to add some smaller/thinner pillows. They were very thick and caused me to not sleep very well and have a neck ache and were way too big for my children to use as well (ages 6, 4).

Friendly Staff, and a free fresh warm cookie when you walk through the door. After check-in they give you a water bottle Rooms are always in pristine shape. Also very nice, and updated showers.

Some of the decorations around the hotel are creepy, and the old man statue carrying books in one of the hallways sometimes makes me jump.

It was a single story quaint Inn only 48 Rooms in a small town that was quiet at night. Breakfast was excellent and you got to use real plates, silverware and glasses/mugs. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was convenient for visiting the area. Also liked the fact that grocery store, gas station, etc. were nearby. The town itself wasn't super exciting, but that's not what I came for anyway.

The breakfast buffet could have been a bit more "high end" for the overall price, but it was o.k. for the standard American continental breakfast fare.

Cleanliness. And the quality of everything. Second time staying here. The rooms are absolutely spectacular and comfortable. So incredibly clean and almost perfect. We chose this place because it is about 30-60 minutes away from all the beaches and other towns. Plenty of things to do in Fremont if you want to just stay there. Staff is amazing and breakfast was really good. The pool is its own little oasis. Very quiet and there isn't a lot of street traffic. If I had one complaint (it is my fault), Breakfast is served until 9a.m. and we got there at 8:50. Slim picking but we made it work and had plenty. We got up a little bit earlier the following day. Still better than going to a restaurant. Will stay here every time we are in the area. The staff is perfect. Not sure if there is such a thing as a "gourmet" bathroom but it was pretty awesome.

The occasional inconsiderate guest letting the door closers slam. That is all.

The beds were soft and the room was nice and clean. Staff was incredibly helpful and respectful and didn’t drag on to much when checking me in.

Breakfast times was a little early. Partly my fault for staying up to late. But having it end at 9 made it feel like I had to rush to get to it in time some.

I loved the size of the room and shower.

It was overpriced. The A/C wouldn't stay where we set it. So it got warm in the room at night. So we had to go buy a fan.

Exterior didn't look like much, however based on its location in rural Michigan it was what I expected. However, the inside really nice and the amenities were great.

The hotel common areas and rooms were exceptionally clean. The hotel staff was very friendly throughout the stay. Breakfast was very good and the dining area setup is nice. The coffee was great! The location of the hotel is pretty good, too.

The only thing I would change is the decorations, but that is a personal preference. I can see how some people would probably like the displays of random objects throughout the hotel, it's just not my thing.
