The front desk staff very friendly, professional answered all questions. Lovely place!! Pool very clean.Breakfast very tasty the egg white veggie omelet delicious!! Turkey sausage very good!! Excellent coffee!! Bed comfortable!! Could be a little more firm. Room very well designed Has a board built in on wall to open suitcaeses.Very nice comfortable long chair Great desk with light you touch with thumb with three settings. It gas a safe Nice long mirror on the wall. Great bathroom with huge walk in shower. Nice design on the wall. Huge sink. Very huge room It was an exceptional stay!! Room was very clean!! Just fantadtic.overall!! My favorite hotel in Michigan so far!!

Please increase temperature of the pool by at least 5 degrees since it is an indoor pool and can't get direct sunlight to heat it up

This was the best Holiday Inn and the best mid-price range hotel I have stayed at over many, many years. It was decorated with modern furniture and furnishings. The room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. The window shade was unique in that it pulled down from the top and unbelievably, shut out early morning light! No more light peeking between curtains that pulled together. A most interesting aspect was that the room key card was needed to insert into a slot that would turn the electricity on for the room. Undoubtedly an improvement to help keep their expenses down. The hotel was conveniently located to major roads and many restaurants were located nearby, The breakfast - a full breakfast with a variety of choices and was a huge hit with the guests I chatted with. The staff were friendly, professional, helpful and courteous to each guest they interacted with. The facility itself was very clean, and well maintained. I did not use the pool; however, my spouse used the exercise room which had a variety of machines to use and she was pleased with the "feel" of the room. I would definitely stay at this hotel when I am next in Grand Rapids and I very highly recommend it to anyone seeking overnight lodgings in that area. I wish I could rate it higher than the number of stars available.

The choice of TV channels was not as complete as I would have preferred.

Parking lot was pretty dark. As a woman travelling alone and arriving late in the evening there were not any spots near the door or in well lit areas.

The room was nice & had all the amenities we needed. The girl at the desk during checkin was very friendly & helpful.

Silly thing to complain about but, having the patio area off the pool area would've been a better design layout. I like to sit outside & enjoy the weather while I work & the kids could've been in the pool while I did that. Instead she sat with me but I know it's because she didn't want to be in the pool area without me being able to see her. Both areas are nice but it just would've served us better if they were combined. I know you can't change it lol but maybe for future reference

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff member in the early morning (about 0500) was very nice and had a pleasant conversation with me while I waited for the shuttle. I was only there from late at night to early the next morning so I didn't get to try the pool or the breakfast, but given the state of the rest of the hotel (waiting area, hallways, and rooms) I would assume those would be nice and I wish I could've tried them out!

The shuttle I reserved for the morning was a few minutes late. The driver did call the front desk to have them let me know he was on his way, and he was very friendly and helped me with my luggage. It was fine for me since I had plenty of time, just know that if you book the shuttle, allow some extra time just in case.

I asked for a ride on the shuttle to the airport at 4:15 am. I was in the lobby at 4:00 waiting for the shuttle. it was late and the desk person called and was told the shuttle was on the way. I continued to wait. The desk person said he thought he saw the shuttle go by but didn’t stop. I continued to wait. The shuttle didn’t arrive until 5:10 am. My flight was scheduled to leave at 6:15 am. I was not happy that it was so late getting to the hotel. I barely had enough time to get through security. The shuttle person said she looked at the schedule and didn’t see anyone needing a ride to the airport. I thought this was very unprofessional of the shuttle service.

The hotel room was located on the floor & area that I had requested. The hotel had a decent fitness gym. The room was very clean. My family and I loved the free coffee in the lobby, and the free hot breakfast was a great value. (And they had free Halloween candy!)

The bathroom in our hotel room did not have a shower curtain when we arrived and only one roll of used toilet paper when we arrived. When we alerted the front desk, the staff took care of this though. One front desk staff employee (who worked the day shift) did not have a friendly attitude when we were checking out Thursday morning. She was pretty blunt when telling us where to drop off our keys, and did not ask us how our stay was or thank us for visiting.

The hotel was in a very convenient location. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing. The went above and beyond with extra pillows, towels and a shower caddy with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Very nice stay

I can't really think of any negatives with staying here. The breakfast was your usual, but instead of a dirty, messy waffle maker like most hotels now, they have a pretty neat conveyor type pancake maker.

The first thing I noticed was that it was very clean & even smelled clean when I walked through the entrance doors. The bed was comfy & I loved their pillows! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone! And if I'm ever in the area again, I'll be staying here!

Parking was kind of hard to find. There were barely any spots open. They had so many work trucks with plows attached to them parked in several of the parking spots.

Check in was easy and simple, breakfast wasn't too bad and had hot dishes which was a plus. Got the room on a discount so price was definitely worth it. Not much in the area, but the things that you can find aren't too terribly far away if driving. Would return if in the area again. Upside is it's close to the airport. Also appreciated the fact the TV had the ability to cast from your devices which was awesome and also had a HDMI port compatibility which allowed for gaming. Definitely appreciated that fact.

Wish the fruit were a little fresher, especially the banana but overall wasn't bad at all. Only other issue(more a personal choice) was the curtains don't go all the way down past the ac unit so the light still comes in under the blinds and the rooms don't seem to be noise proof as you could hear the movements in the hall especially when doing cleaning in the morning. Not a deal breaker.
