Fairfield Inn & Suites Jackson

The room was very clean and nicely appointed. Everything was laid out thoughtfully. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was ample, and the area was much cleaner and well kept than most other motels with similar breakfasts.

On first try, the keycard to my room didn't work. Had to go back downstairs to the front desk. A minor inconvenience, but quickly remedied by a very confident staff.

Close to show I was attending. Comfortable bed.

Road construction. Bed was very high off floor causing feet to not reach floor for dressing and putting socks and shoes on. Desk chair provided had a broken arm rest(which I took to the desk). Otherwise a great place once Michigan is finished with the road construction!

Everything worked! Even the stopper for the sink which does not work most of the time at other hotels. Breakfast was good. Water was hot.

We were close to the front and frequently heard the front desk phone ring. We were near the elevator and heard people talking there.

Everything was very clean. The room had everything we needed plus. The refrigerator was larger than most. Great breakfast selection.

Only thing I can think of is the flooring in the elevator needed either a deep clean or replaced.

I slept in. Unfortunately there was construction. What I liked was all of the personalized help that the staff gave me due to my mistakes and the road construction (special directions, and jump starting my rental car after I allowed the battery to die, and alerting me to the fact that I had forgotten both my iPod charger (and iPods) and my iPhone charger.

The fact that I made so many mistakes causing the need for special attention. :-(

The bed and pillows. The shower and towels were nice also.

The food it was cold and it was kind of loud at night.

Our room was clean and all of the furniture was in good shape.

We got the room behind the elevator which caused it to be smaller than we expected and the floor area was not really as much as we would have liked. I would not want this room again.

Typical for hotels but don't like the pillows. I had to use 3 to sleep because they're so flat. Wife liked them though so it is a personal preference. I'm used to my memory foam.

The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was clean and in good condition. The pool, which we used, was nicely maintained and not overly chlorinated. It was a great stay. They even had fresh cookies for us.

The only thing we didn't enjoy was having a room underneath the stairs. We could hear people going up and down the stairs throughout the night.

THis will seem silly, but I was told of cookies being available after 3:00. I asked about them around 5:00 and was told they were gone. It sounds like you have to be there as close to 3:00 as possible otherwise they're gone
