The service and staff were excellent. A great example was Kelly who was so helpful in taking the time to find a flatter pillow for me! All of the staff were very friendly, the place was very clean and the breakfast had lots of choices and was presented very well. Also liked being able to look out over Little Traverse Bay. The water pressure in the shower was also very good and the pool and hot tub were as clean as the rest of the hotel.

Nothing the staff could do, but if the light could be turned off on the balcony from the room. I like it very dark and the light shined in from behind the curtains. I propped the iron board up against it which helped put the curtain back closer to the wall. Overall, the hotel staff is going the most with the building; it is starting to show some age in lots of places but was still very comfortable for me and I would highly recommend it.

Great location, beds were super comfy, the rooms seemed to be soundproof because we couldn’t really hear anything going on around us, it was very clean and best of all there is a complimentary limo service that will shuttle you downtown and will pick you up when you call them (in-between specific time frames, 4-11p on Fri/Sat, etc) so no need to worry about driving after you’ve been drinking- the BEST perk ever!!!!

Fresh fruit and scrambled eggs with croissants/bagels and a few other things would’ve been nice for some variety and for those of us who can’t do meat.

Location was great. I almost forgot that the hotel was a Best Western. It was nice and warm, and it had plenty of room. the pool was large. My understanding was that the pool was heated, but it turned out that it was not heated. Hot tub was nice too.

There should be an "adult only" time reserved at the pool / hot tub, and it should be for at least one to two hours. There was one family there had ten children of their own, and a couple of other families with their children using the pool all day and all weekend. That is all great, but at some point, there should be a time for adults (18 and above) can use the pool / hot tub without having to be surrounded by loud, yelling children, kids running around the pool, kids splashing and constantly doing cannon balls, and consistently going from the pool to the hot tub. It was difficult to find peace and relax with the children being very active and who had high energy level even at 10 PM at night.

It was a nice stay. Great views from our corner room though the balcony was not very comfortable it was very tiny. The staff was nice. Limo service is a nice touch. We never used it but it was nice that it was available if we needed it. The grounds were nice. The pool was nice too. Could use some updating but it suited us just fine. The bed was so comfortable and slept very well

We loved the view we had from our room looking out to the bay. It was beautiful. The free breakfast was amazing. They have a variety of choices to choose from. The location was easy to get to and close to different stores. The bed was super comfortable as well, like sleeping on the clouds.

We really didn't like that there was a HUGE stain on the floor. The white towels were stained as well ((I feel like if they used more bleach it would help remove them)). The curtains could be thicker/taller as we like it super dark in our room and the light from our balcony was shinning right into our room making it very bright & visible. Being able to turn this light on & off would have been more helpful. The room also was kind of outdated. The bathroom shower head was from the 2000's (we're 32 years old and we were joking at how this is what our parents had growing up and they thought they were cool). Plus it was very orange looking from the rust and lime build up.

The breakfast was good. The kids could find something to eat with no problems. Staff was very friendly and was there for anything you needed.

The rooms were very spacious. With that being said they really could use some updating. The shower area needs some TLC. There was what looked like mold on the ceiling in the shower. Turning on the shower was also a little difficult.

The views were awesome. The ease of entering and exciting the property from the street. The staff was extremely friendly that was a great feature. The fresh apples and cookies. The size of the room. The breakfast was really good.

I would have liked to see some meat protein on the breakfast bar. I have to get a certain amount every day and really the only thing you had was the boiled eggs and the bacon on the breakfast sandwiches. I light coming in from the balcony was too bright and I could not get the curtains to block it out.

the rooms were nice and we had a balcony and were close to the pool. free breakfast was awesome because we had a bunch of kids with us. the staff were amazing. the hotel offers a free limo shuttle service Sunday through Thursday I believe the kids thought that was cool. shuttle service only goes a couple blocks from hotel.

it was a normal stay no issues

The breakfast was amazing . Variety of foods on offer was great. Wasn’t expecting anything hot and we were pleasantly surprised. Although some parts of the hotel need some upgrading, it was clean and welcoming with a homey feel. We also spent time in the hot tub, so relaxing. We walked into town but we were offered a courtesy limo. Would have no hesitation in booking again

the view was beautiful. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very nice. Very nice place to stay

Getting to the pool was difficult. The sign telling you which way to go was wrong. The front desk knows it is wrong. We were on the 4th floor, and had to go to the 2nd floor to access the pool. It was far from where we were.
