Friendly staff. Convenient location. You can walk down to the water as the property has its own dock.

Booked a couple days prior to arrival and requested an upper floor room. Never received a response from the hotel and we were given a ground-level room. I would expect to receive a response regardless if that room-type is available or not. We travel frequently and I always receive a response from other properties. Breakfast was cold - fruit was frozen. Staff did offer a microwave to heat up eggs, etc., as they were aware of the issue. Otherwise, probably would have been a good breakfast. Hot tub was available but not ‘hot’. We will consider choosing another location to stay next time.

The bathroom area was very large with a jetted tub. The bedroom area was comfortable. Everything was very clean.

There needs to be lamps by the bed. The light switches were across the room and in weird places. Also, I was in room 14 which had a double French door opening for the main door. It only had sheers on it. I was a solo female traveler. It made me feel like I was on display as well as my items while I slept. I wish they had an option to cover those doors at least. The other rooms I saw had solid doors for their main door.

perfect location to stay for the “Tunnel of trees” and the staff were very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. We requested a small table and they carried one perfect size from downstairs and put it in our room. We didn’t turn the fireplace on when we left the room. They added a small portable electric heater to heat the room. Good hot breakfast eggs, pancakes, bagels, cereals and muffins. The coffee is okay.

We can hear people talking in the bathroom.

I like the location. It is walking distance to downtown Harbor Springs, the lake, parks, and trails. The grounds are maintained nicely and the rooms are comfortable.

The room I stayed in had a tight fit around the furniture. It turned out fine but at first I was concerned. Also, no desk in the room I stayed in, if you’re staying for work. The bed is very comfortable and I had a good night’s sleep.

Size of room was great. Breakfast to our liking.Also enjoyed breakfast at Turkey's Cafe and Pizzeria.Also enjoyed The Pier Restaurant for dinner. Enjoyed walk into town and along Beach Drive. Central destination between Mackinaw Island and Petoskey area. We were close to Tunnel of Trees. Also in town we were able to rent bikes at Touring Gear. Awesome bike trail in the area. Enjoyed the ride to Mim's Mediterranean Grill and Petoskey Brewery. We were there during the 2nd week of October enjoying the Fall foliage.

Friendly staff, very large room, comfortable bed. Hotel was built in the 1890’s so keep that in mind. Very good breakfast. Rode our bikes into town. Pool was closed for the season but the indoor hot tub was open. Walked a half block down to the hotels dock on the water and sat on the benches to watch the sunsets.

Old hotel so it was easy to hear the people upstairs, however, we somewhat expected this so it wasn’t a huge problem. Hot water didn’t last very long for each building. Great otherwise.

Very clean, quiet and cozy. Quality scrubbed sheets. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent, including Almond Milk and Premium Coffee. Probably the best "breakfast included" you can get for the money, in the area. Special thanks to Sasha and Aron which were above and beyond to make sure nothing was missing for breakfast . They also keep the facility sparkling clean. Hope to see them again next year

Nothing in particular. Maybe more gravel to the parking lot. It is kind of muddy when raining.

The room was clean and spacious, the fireplace gave it a cozy atmosphere. The shower had great pressure, we did not get the chance to use the jacuzzi. Although the breakfast was basic buffet, the dining room in the older part of the property was charming. We enjoyed walking into Harbor Springs, which is a lovely town.

We could hear people walking and using tv upstairs, and the people next door to us could be heard talking too. Next time I might try to upgrade to a different unit for that reason.

Great location - very nice room/accomodations - clean

The breakfast ran out of eggs and several other things by 8:45a. When we notified the staff the eggs were gone, they flatly answered there wouldn't be any more - just biscuits and gravy. My daughter has a gluten allergy, so wasn't much she could eat.

I loved the fireplace as it was a chilly 2 day stay! The building is just beautiful. Love the art on the walls and the wainscoting. The table in the lobby with the games to borrow was a great touch. Great location and pool. (Too cold to sit by the pool when we were there.)

I thought the breakfast could have been better. Maybe more options like muffins and more bagels. The eggs were not very good, but my son loved the waffles. :) Also, we couldn't get the stopper on the tub to work, to take a bath. :(
