The hotel did not receive my reservations from Booking.com. When the Manager searched further he saw I did make a reservation that did not go through to their hotel by Booking.com. The hotel was full so they gave me the only remaining room - the suite! Was I happy? You better believe it! Every time I passed the front desk and saw the person I dealt with I thanked him! Please pass this survey to the manager and front desk personnel in the Hampton Inn Petoskey! I really appreciate them for giving me the suite with a balcony!

Conveniently located and beautiful views. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Facility was well kept and clean, including our room. We also asked for a pack and play which was promptly dropped off to our room and was very well kept. Breakfast was good, not a lot of choices, but the omelets one morning were great and we enjoyed the waffles with the different topping options.

Pool was a little chilly and they are currently removing the hot tub. We didn't realize there wasn't a refrigerator in the room, so we ended up needing a cooler, which was disappointing. The microwave in the lobby was confusing with minimal numbers for cooking.

Very clean. Even with the remodeling that was going on.

I thought it was rather noisy. People in the hallway shouldn’t have been so obvious. Also, using a barn door as the bathroom door is ridiculous. Extremely tacky, bad design. Certainly no privacy, as it doesn’t even close anywhere near tight. Ugh.

Great location and our room had a nice view of the bay. The pool and hot tub were open too. The room was clean and breakfast had a decent selection.

Was surprised to see there wasn’t a mini fridge and microwave in our standard 2 Queen room. I didn’t even think to look to see if they were included because it seems like basic amenities. The room also felt a tad bit small, including the window with the view. and The tub/shower had a bigger step down than anticipated, felt like a bit of a hazard. I also didn’t think the beds were super comfortable, but I prefer a bit firmer mattress. Overall, I might try a different location, but think the facility still met the standards I think of Hampton Inns to have, and my sweetheart and I still had a nice getaway :)

Did not have breakfast at hotel. Location was very good. Beds were very comfortable and room size was great. Very quiet on our floor - 1st floor which is really a floor below the lobby level. Rooms and public areas very clean. I give this hotel a 9 out of 10 rating. The -1 point is outlined below.

The room key machine was not working at check-in. The desk clerk had to let us into our room and we got a keycard at the desk the next day. The machine still was not working so we were given 1 key total and had to be careful not to lose it or incur a charge for it at checkout. The room thermostat requires an advanced degree to operate. The phone in the room did not work. We selected a bayview room but the view we had was over commercial roof tops literally at the same level as the room - hotel is at the top of a hill. All of these taken together are minor aggravations. Hotel management has already responded to these concerns in an email to me today.

Helpful professional staff. Very clean lobby & rooms. Complimentary breakfast was delicious!! Loved the view from the dining room. Staff provided needed toiletries. Also provided the complimentary vouchers for the Odawa Casino. Will definitely be return.

We were looking for a place to share a little time with our 3 Grandchildren ( ages 6, 8 and 11) during their spring break. The location was close to my sister, they had an open heated indoor pool! The free breakfast had many options for all of us to find something g we like! This was an all around great experience for us!

The HotTub was not open as it was closed for repairs.

The size of the room was great. The price was great. The room was clean and well-stocked. The pool area was clean and large enough to hang out and play games in. The view of the bay was good. The closeness to area attractions (casino, shops, etc.).

The room phone wasn't working. Our bay view included the top of the building next to us (We were on the first floor).

$75 pet fee when website said $10. "Dog run" was a small area by the dumpster w/ signs all over saying keep dogs off grass.

The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Jacob at the front desk (and taking care of other responsibilities) was so helpful, efficient, and friendly.

Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and the pool was a little cold but very clean.
