convenient location. good shuttle service, large room.

the refurbishment not up to normal Marriott standards. this hotel has been several other brands in the past.

Did not open until 6:30am. We had to leave before then. Should open earlier! But dinner the night before was excellent!!!!

the heat in the room was not consistent. Usually too cold. Need to have coffee available in lobby by 6am.

The hotel was in a great location. We had an usual amount of luggage, and the Valet guys were amazing! They answered our questions and I didn't feel like I was inconveniencing them. We had the car parked and 2 hours later pulled out and each of the guys was positive and accommodating! Helped solve our quirky problems with a smile! Thanks a million!

Room service food was cold and very bland. Server was very polite and professional.

Close to airport. Convenient food.

The room was fine except it had many glass rings on the counters, which had not been wiped down. There was no way to reach the shuttle. Even though I let people at the hotel know when my flight came in, there was no one there. When I tried to call, the number given on line did not work. A driver from another hotel hooked me up with a driver who was going to a hotel a block away.

Transportation from airport to hotel we had been awake for over 27 hours due to international travel booked room to sleep til we could connect with pick up travel we are in our 70’s

We arrive in Detroit after midnight had to call for transportation vechicle to come 3 times wait was long since we were tired thankful for the pickup but wish it was smoother than we had

Spacious, quiet room with a beautiful leafy tree outside the window, happily blocking the view of the interstate. Nice amenities, comfy bed, big armchair by the window, all nice! Super-friendly staff at check-in and at the bar. Convenient airport shuttle every half hour.

There's nothing at all to see or do nearby other than stroll past a string of other airport hotels. Not the Marriott's fault, of course, but ...

I thought it was great that we could check in. Then go to our room and drop off our luggage. Then we came down to Marilyn's had some drinks and had some great food.

No TV's in the restaurant. Looks like there were walls that needed to be painted because there were several patches. Also there were two guys doing maintenance that were in "street" clothes. It would be great to see some uniforms for all employees so we could tell who is who.

The room was large and clean. The hotel itself is right across the street from the airport and the shuttle bus runs every half hour (:00 and :30). For one night before catching an early morning flight, it was a good place to stay.

The room is decently sound proofed, but you can still hear flights taking off and landing fairly loudly. But considering it is right across from the airport, it could have been a lot worse. Luckily flights seemed to stop around 11 and we were able to sleep soundly until we had to wake up.

The hotel was a major renovation of a previous hotel brand. We come to Michigan twice a year to visit family. At Detroit Metro Airport we've only found one restaurant that we consistently liked - Leonardo's. The front desk person recommended we try their restaurant and bar. It looked attractive, so we did and we're glad we did. We went from the bar to the restaurant. They actually had steak with Bordelaise sauce , which is very rare in most cities, let alone an airport hotel. The food and service were great. In the morning, we arrived about 20" after the restaurant was closed for breakfast. Amazingly, the opened it up for us and the breakfast was very good. We'll be back.

It was great having adjoining rooms and the beds were so comfy! Super nice restaurant staff. The rooms were spotless.

A holiday party was going on that night and we heard several doors slamming and loud voices in the hall well after 1 a.m. Thank goodness are flight wasn't until noon. I've stayed there before and always had a nice quiet sleep. This wasn't the hotel's fault so will stay again. I may ask if any parties are booked before I reserve or ask to be on the far away from the event rooms.
