The property was in a great location with an amazing view and stunning sunrise. The breakfast was decent. The staff were very sweet.

The suite is just a larger regular hotel room with one TINY bathroom that barely has room for the small tub and toilet and then the sink is strangely located around the corner in the entry. with four adults and two children, it was not the greatest. The Club, which was supposed to have dinner/drinks was closed on Monday and then closed unexpectedly on Tuesday. Thankfully, at least it was open for bfast. It also had a weird set of steps in the hallway that was awkward for our stroller (had to lift it both ways).

Comfortable beds, clean rooms, clean hotel. Beach access was great. Breakfast was good, I wish they had fruit (other than whole apples). Staff was friendly, pool was clean. Overall I enjoyed the stay, I would stay again!

Breakfast was good although the staff in the restaurant couldn’t keep up, often times people would be standing behind the bar talking and we’d have to ask for napkins or silverware or more food. The tables would remain dirty and not wiped down between people. We had to wipe our tables down ourselves every morning or ask staff to. All other staff was fantastic and the hotel itself was great. Just needs a little more training or help in the restaurant for breakfast time.

My husband and I loved the location. We could walk to many places. The ferry is close enough to walk to as well. Great restaurants we walked to too. The staff was so friendly, especially the day staff. We loved that we had lake front and had a beach. We loved the free breakfast every morning.

I didn’t like that I wasn’t given an option, during booking with booking.com about my AAA membership that I wasn’t able to get the benefits from since I paid for the stay online. I didn’t find out that I couldn’t utilize a AAA discount until after I bought my week.

The view was great. We were right across from Mackinac Island. Being right on the beach was nice. The hotel set up bonfires every night for the guests. The breakfast was good but could have used some fresh fruit and another kind of juice besides orange juice. The employee who worked the breakfast was very nice and did a great job. The bed was pretty comfortable to sleep in. A shuttle to the boat docks was available and very convenient. There was an incident with children pulling a fire alarm at 1:30am and the staff handled it tremendously!

The rooms are very noisy. You can hear your neighbors all around you. Some serious sound barrier is needed. There was a lot of broken tiles in the room, in the bathroom and around the jacuzzi tub. It is a little bit outside town so restaurant varieties nearby are limited.

The room was clean with a beach like theme and it had a nice balcony with a great view of the lake and the sand beach. The bed was very comfortable however, they are quite high even for a 6’ person so be prepared. We found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The continental breakfast was typical and the staff worked at keeping up with the demand.

What we didn’t like was the design of the building as far as luggage and elevator access. You can use the elevator up to your floor but if staying in one of the rooms on the wings of that floor, you have to descend down 8 to 10 steps making a luggage carrier useless. The employee at the desk offered to assist us but we declined.

We had AMAZING views, every staff member we met was genuinely nice and welcoming, the free breakfast was better than I anticipated and we did not get bored. It’s in a great spot with lots of restaurants, attractions, and stores in walking distance or nearby, we will for sure be coming back and I would highly recommend.

The water does have A LOT of rocks so I’d bring water shoes or sandals if you plan on swimming. also the restaurant connected to the hotel was a little pricy like 100$ for 2 small meals n 2 drinks so definitely cheaper to just go to a nearby restaurant or dollar store for food and snacks.

Location and view were good and we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant for dinner and the free breakfast.

The two queen room was very small and I didn’t care for the layout. The bathroom sink was in a separate area from the shower and toilet just inside the door as you entered the room and it was very small. There was no closet in the room and very little surface space for placing your bags and luggage. Also, there is only one elevator for the entire property so you may be dragging your luggage quite a distance when you get off the elevator, depending on which end of the building your room is located.

The walkout to the private beach was beautiful; the resort was well maintained except the pool and hot tub that needed cleaning. The food was good but needed oatmeal and or grits (non-instant). The convenience of being able to purchase ferry tickets from the hotel was very nice too. The location was amazingly close to restaurants and shops. Otherwise, everything else was exceptional.

The pool and hot tub needed much more attention; hot tub was not working. Also needed a couple more food choices- grits and or oatmeal- especially for babies and elderly.

Clean, comfortable beds, pool & hot tub were nice, conveniently located, great A.C., friendly staff, good water pressure, great free breakfast, amazing view of Mackinac Island. Ally was super helpful. They made our Anniversary extra special by styling out our bed with rose petals, hearts and towel people. Good times!!

Purely a timing issue and we understand that things often need to be updated but we happened to stay there when they were doing construction in front of our room. No big deal though. It wasn’t really noisy or anything, just a timing thing. It was my first experience with Black Flies. Those things suck! Their little bites pack a punch. There was no shortage of them on the beach in front of the hotel. Made relaxing on the beach kind of impossible. Not really sure if the hotel can do anything about that though. Lol.

The setting, right on the beach, included a nightly campfire. The staff was very helpful. Having a concierge available 24 hours is unusual. Recommendations for restaurants were good, and we appreciated the discount on the ferry to Mackinac Island. The room was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool and hot whirlpool. The included buffet breakfast was one of the best.

The in-room refrigerator was small, and did not have a freezer compartment, so our ice packs were not kept as cold as possible. But having an ice machine one floor down made up for that. A minor inconvenience at best.
