The inn was beautifully landscaped. It’s also in a good location and you can basically get anywhere on the island from it. The staff was courteous. The complimentary breakfast was also larger than we anticipated.

The walls are pretty thin, so we heard people and their kids walking around, talking, etc. late at night and that was a little annoying and it made our stay less comfortable. Our room also looked nothing like what was pictured in the original listing. There is barely a garden view worth paying extra money for. If I knew what the room actually looked like, I probably wouldn’t have booked it. The room was just too expensive for what we actually received, in my opinion.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing! I didn’t realize when booking our room that it didn’t have air conditioning, it is very early in the season and usually it would not be needed. We were very lucky to get a gorgeous day in May. They moved us immediately to another room! Every person we came in contact with during our stay went above and beyond! They handled our luggage so we didn’t have to deal with it on the island. I am glad we stayed and already are planning to stay again next year!

Location is great! Well within walking distance to main attractions. We stayed in the cottage. Breakfast was decent, good variety for continental. Cleaning and kitchen staff very nice. The cottage balcony is wonderful, very nice views. Morning staff was very friendly. Bedding clean and comfortable.

Gap under door to hallway, bathroom floor stained, only chair in room had stains on it. Mattress is very firm. Blind over balcony door doesn't quite cover the glass. Arrived about 2 hours after check in, the girls at the desk were not very friendly

I loved that everything was really clean. I loved the view of the courtyard. I loved the layout of the room, when traveling with a baby it was nice. The breakfast was great. I enjoyed renting the bikes from the hotel, it made things much easier.

The only downfall, and it’s being knit picky. We had to call down to get more towels and bedding for the sofa bed. It was just a minor inconvenience. If you need more then 2 towels ask in advance!

We were there in the off-season so it wasn't very crowded. The weather was perfect. where the house is located is right across from the harbor, which is awesome to watch at night. not righy in downtown area so it's much quieter.

For some reason, our booking get lost, but the hotel was very accommodatable in finding another room for us.

It was clean and comfortable. The location was within walking distance of the main downtown shops and restaurants. Nice breakfast buffet included.

Room numbers and locations in the different buildings was a little confusing; but, made sense by the end of our 1-night stay. They could add room number signs at stairways/hallway ends: (2100-2110 —>, etc.)

From the cleanliness of our rooms, to breakfast service, to the fast, efficient bike porters, the staff was wonderful. The rooms were cleaned daily, breakfast had many choices and the luggage service was on point! The hotel was on the main road and it was very easy to walk to from the ferry. The front porch had very comfortable seating for reading, phone calls or just hanging out.

I did not like the location of the room- back of the hotel. The walls were very thin, I could hear all the late night/early morning revelers come back into their rooms. While I love to hear people having a great time on their vacation, I don't like to hear them at 2am. Children running up and down the hallway before 7am on the weekend didn't allow for a leisurely sleep in. Please note: ***This complaint is levied at the building NOT at the guests or the staff. *** I just did not feel that the price of the room reflected the quality of the room.

The location of the hotel is perfect, convenient to town and quiet. The property added several touches that were very nice such as having water and coffee out at all times for guests and discounted bike rentals. The room was immaculately clean with a comfortable bed and a refrigerator provided.

Great location, fine staff, terrific means of getting the bags to and from the ferry. The bed was larger than we had expected and quite comfortable.

The only thing we did not like was the cost. That was comparable to the some of the fancier spots in which we have ever stayed.

The location was perfect as far as walkability from the ferry. Shopping opportunities and eateries were just as easily walkable without steep hills. Really loved the breakfast and the ability to converse at breakfast in the intimate dining setting. Loved the historical feel and story of the inn and grounds.
