You could not beat the view of this hotel! The balconies overlook Lake Huron and the sandy beach area behind it was wonderful. Room was clean and even though the bathroom was outdated, it was kind of retro-cool. Breakfast was great, even for continental only. The hotel is also dog friendly and parking is ample.

The staff was not super helpful. I had to ask a few people during shift changes for an extra luggage rack. I asked the front desk if they had one and they said no immediately, but luckily housekeeping was willing to check. The pool could use a little TLC. There was a very VERY drunk man in a speedo hogging up the hot tub blasting and singing country music. Cringe.

If you’re looking for the best water pressure when taking a shower, this is your hotel. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels and this by far had the best water pressure. Sure the tub could be updated but who cares it was clean. Staff were really nice. We stayed in room 55 and we love the double room for our children to stay in.

It’s $25.00 extra per night for your pet to stay with you. There’s no poop stations to pick up after your pet after they’ve gone to the bathroom. Watch your step when walking them outside to go potty.

Family room good fit for family for the week, friendly staff, location, reasonable price for week in the lake

No fan in bathroom, balcony door didn't lock without being barred, small hot tub for volume of guests, could not use medicinal Marijuana as needed due to no vaping on property, all electrical was either not working entirely or rigged up with extension cords, etc.,

I loved how clean the room was. I was traveling with my 2 little dogs and from previous experiences, I wasn't expecting the nicest place... boy was I in for a surprise... Our room was extremely clean, very comfortable, had crispy white bed sheets, beds were comfortable and there was no matress squeeking ....whatsoever .... the bathroom area was a bit outdated but clean, plenty of clean towels, and great water pressure and temperature. We had a balcony with beautiful view of the lake. For the price you can't beat this deal...we very much enjoyed our brief, 2 day stay. Continental Breakfast was nice as well... bagels, cream cheese, cereal, orange juice, milk, oatmeal and some pastries... as well as fruits... i also have to add that the check in was a breeze and the front desk staff was super nice and friendly... provided us with onformation as well as all the extras we asked for such as extra bags of coffee to brew in the room...😃😉☕️☕️☕️

There was funny smell in a room...not constant but every now and then we would get a whif of something not so pleasant...not sure what it was... we checked everywhere but it seems like it was coming from the A/C unit maybe? Not sure... it was very brief and it didn't really bother us... much...

Late evening pre-arranged check-in was great. The guys were nice and welcoming. Beds were very comfortable. Having a fridge was so nice! Room was very clean, and breakfast was good. Location was awesome- right on the water! Saw the maintenance man the next morning and he greeted us, and asked us about our stay. We have stayed at three other hotels in the area previously, and this one was definitely the best value. We will stay here again next weekend on our way home.

There was a spider in the corner above the vanity. Keep in mind that this is an older facility, but it is well kept and well worth the money.

The view of the water from the room was amazing. We also loved that it was on the beach and we could sit outside. Definitely a great deal for ability to sit and enjoy the beach with your stay.

A group of people were sitting on their balcony late into the night talking loudly which prevented my kids from sleeping until 1 a.m. There were also a few people smoking on their balconies which they weren't supposed to do and the breeze from the lake blew the smoke into our room at times.

Had a top floor room with a great view of the lake from the balcony. Very comfy king bed. Large room, good sized bath with tub. Great breakfast too. Close to everything.

Tv didn’t work. Couldn’t watch anything. Had maintenance come up, but couldn’t fix it. So that was a bummer. Beach was ok, but very Rocky in water. Very hard to get in. Also faucets in bath were on backwards and leaked. But the pluses outweighed the negatives, and would stay again, as long I we stayed on top floor.

The location and the view, being on the water. Having first floor on the front , second floor with balcony on the back since there is no elevator.

Our room had a problem with cold water that worked intermittently. It would have been nice to have a small table out on the balcony.

The Location was very nice. Great Beach Access and Nice relaxing Bon fire pits. Didn't use the pool or the jacuzzi. Not keen on them being out in front of the Hotel. That's just personal preference.

It was decent. Not a high end place. There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

Love the comfortable clean room. Friendly staff. Lake view right out my window Fire pits,grills all the things to help you enjoy the stay. Very affordable. We will be back .

Kept having problems with our key pass,the staff was more then helpful with that situation
