Hampton Inn and Suites Minneapolis University Area, MN

I thoroughly enjoyed the young man, Emery, he was so ambitious and friendly during the breakfast rush!

I requested to speak to the manager at which time I informed him of Emery and commented about him as a valuable asset to Hampton Suites. At which time he saw Emery rushing back to the service area which was extremely busy. After beckoning for him a couple times he commented “well I could have told him if he was listening to me”. I felt that was unprofessional and unfair. You have an employee who is trying to take care of business and you complain about that. I can only hope Emery found out that he had been complimented. Although I hold out little hope with management like that

Everything was very clean with the exception of some small stains on the chair in our room. The pool was a good temperature. The bar was clean and service was amazing. All of the staff that I interacted with were very pleasant.

There was a bit of a weird smell in our room. I also would have liked to have some gluten-free options for breakfast. I cannot have gluten so the breakfast was very limited for me.

Check-in was easy and fast, room was lovely and quiet. The breakfast offering was the most healthy I've ever seen (turkey sausage, fresh berries, no heavy breads). Nice selection of pillows, bed was very comfortable, got a great night's sleep !

Bathroom smelled a little musty, not like mold or mildew. Fan in bathroom could use a cleanup. Nothing severe, just a bit.

I thought breakfast was good. I didn't get to enjoy the pool/hot tub, but my husband and son were there for about 2 hours.

At breakfast the trash was loading up big time. They needed to take it out. I didn't care for the fact that we had to pay to park. They have a parking lot. Let us use it. Either that, or put it in the room fee, so the cost is up front.

The room and hotel was clean and neat. Lobby was clean and nice. Parking was convenient and in plenty. Would have been nice to not have to pay $22 for parking fees but it was still good parking space.

Nothing in particular. Everything was fine.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful Hailey was exceptional and very helpful we came for state fair and the busing was a great rooms were clean they went out of their way to get my husband an early breakfast as he had to head to the fair grounds really early all the staff was incredable will forsure be booking for next year!!

Only thing that you cant change is the pool could be larger lol but we enjoyed

My room was very comfortable and clean. Great bed with a spacious bathroom. The hotel was quiet and offered a nice continental breakfast!

The only thing that would have made this hotel perfect was if their shuttle went to the airport. They drive a radius of 5 miles and the airport is just a little further out.

Location was perfect! We were doing a tour for college. The breakfast was average. The staff went above & beyond , they were all great! Loved the cookies ! Nice touch!

Loved the location because it was so close to the train to go into downtown and to target field. Staff was helpful to find food.

It would have been helpful to have local maps available. Also I thought the parking was expensive.

Property very easy to get to, very nice rooms, free cookie!

We were not happy that we had to pay extra for parking. Just give us a price for hotel and parking, don’t surprise us at check in with added cost of parking!
