Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Paul - Woodbury, an IHG Hotel

The hot breakfast selections were delicious. I wish there were gluten free bread or bagel options offered upon request.

The last hour breakfast is offered the selection was much more limited, with several items not restocked. Also did not appreciate the room freshener. Had to open the window to release the toxic air that had accumulated in the room. Please consider going with non-toxic cleaners and stay away from room fresheners. These impair human health, and endocrine function more specifically. Wish there were USB plug ins in the rooms.

Clean in all areas. Friendly staff. Quiet. Breakfast was-Good variety. Tasty food. Lovely dining area. Pool area simple and clean. It could use a bit more furniture and decor. Deck space very small, so this might be challenging to accomplish.

On my second day i was in the jaccuzzi and someone started to enter the room. There was no knock or announcement as they were entering. Upon realizing it was not vacant they quickly left. But what a way to be in the tub...

Location was great, only a short ride to Hudson Wisconsin where a family event was being held. Was pleased that the Mall of America was relatively close as well.

Did not realize that the facility was pet friendly, and experienced a few episodes of barking and whining by a dog in the room next to ours.

The breakfast was sparse - but we were a bit late. The location was within walking coffee / food distance

The fireplace in the fireplace suite didn't work - not a huge issue as it was far from cold. Also, I did not remember to tell the front desk....

The service was fast and friendly when we needed extra towels and blankets.

The mattress could have been a little softer for my liking.

Day management outstanding. Particularly on duty person who checked me in (Liesha??). There was an issue or two (no fault other than trying to please me under the current circumstances) phenomenal value so stressing informative only.

Found staff on duty in wee hours a bit of the polar opposite. Not a guest’s fault you don’t know. Sorry for the inconvenience. One bad comment/point undoes ten positives. Been around the world a few times... literally.

Nice, clean and comfortable rooms. Very friendly front desk staff.

I wish it was clear upon booking that breakfast (temporarily during Covid?) was continental only. It actually touted the typical hot buffet, so that was disappointing. Also: both mornings I tried to grab continental breakfast on my way out, staff had cleared it 15 mins before stated closure. Sigh.

Room was great...location was great

Check in....was told didn't have reservation for 1st night...so she would have to upgrade my room...was given different price for 2 nights than told by booking.com....was told by staff booking.com was just an estimate. Bought a can of coke and a microwave dinner...asked for the price was told to just give her $5.00 so she could close out her drawer!! Checking out was not as bad but couldn't get a receipt was told it was because of booking.com. Never did find breakfast I ordered!!
