No breakfast available

Better upkeep in hallways and around ice maker area. Maybe consider golf carts(with driver) from building to pool area/grounds. Lobby area didn't really have any info. or direction. Confused after leaving check in to room. The sign was missing # And for goodness sake do something about the walkway to the slide area!!!!Me and my 3 year old grandson burned the heck out of our feet because we didn't think we needed our shoes and being our first time we didn't know and didn't realize the water access at first. More shaded areas and seating for families. There were 7 adults, a 3 year old, a 18 month old and 2 month old, it would have been nice to have a table with umbrella to eat at.

It was very pretty and seemed modern. The property that the buildings were in are very pretty and I loves it being right across from the ocean front.

I didn’t like the bathroom vanity because the bottom Stuck out farther than the sink and we both stumped our toes a couple of times. Also the clothing rack was kind of weird with it being in the middle of the room by the coffee station and counter top. I’m guessing because there’s no closet they has to find a place to put the rack. A one night stay was fine but I think it would be inconvenient if it was a long stay.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The rooms are immaculate. The staff was helpful and courteous. They helped us by allowing us to check in early and loaned us a wheelchair for my husband. The outdoor fountain was lovely with lights and music.

There wasn’t any shade outdoors in the seating area closest to the hotel buildings. They should add umbrella tables . If you have difficulty walking a long way , when you book accommodations you need to request a room near an exit/entrance. If you plan to use the pool , prepare to walk or drive there. It isn’t close to the Centennial building.

They were able to accommodate our large party. Loved that the pool area was designed to be both adult and kid friendly. Also, with our party being there more than one day, we had the opportunity to try out both the breakfast at the hotel wine bar and Oasis Grill. Both places excelled at breakfast and the service was on point.

The last night of our stay, we had dinner at the Oasis Grill and the food was horrible. It was extremely salty and tasted frozen. On the plus side, the management did remove some of the items from our check.

The water park extraordinary. The children were amazed by the island of water slides. There were also water slides for older kids. The lazy river was my favorite. There was a beautiful pool. It was all well staffed with towels provided. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful. The campus was historical and beautiful. We enjoyed the fountain at night. The coffee was PJ’s, my New Orleans favorite.

The rooms have a refrigerator and coffee pot, but no microwave. Also the mattress was poor. The campus contained a few hotels. The water park was within the Oasis area. The walk to the pool and breakfast/lunch cafe was a slight inconvenience. The cafe/restaurants on the campus were a bit of a disappointment.

We stayed in the "main" section of the resort, which is geared more towards singles or couples vs families. The staff at the front desk, in the bar, cleaning team, restaurant - everyone was polite, professional, and very friendly. More than willing to ensure we had a positive experience. Food in restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. Dusty, the bartender, was fabulous. Room was spacious and good soundproofing (we had a rowdy group of guys in town for a wedding next to us but couldn't hear them too much through the walls). Also, very historic location and background of the resort. The water park was fabulous - we didn't partake other than a cool beverage from their tiki bar while watching others enjoy the park. Pool wasn't heated, so take note! The kids were having a blast, so this would be ideal for a family visit. Resort set up to accommodate various guests (family/individual/couples). Offered a historic chapel for small events.

The ONLY issue we had was with the water pressure in the shower. It had a "rain drip" shower head, and it really just dripped out the water. Had to add more time to take a shower in order to get everything properly rinsed. We discussed with the hotel staff on our checkout and they said they would have it looked into - we didn't know if it was just our room or that entire building (built in 1923). Everything else was wonderful. Water park was fabulous but would've been perfect if the water had been heated (too costly, for sure!) for some of us older folk who are used to Florida pools being heated.

Everything was amazing! The guest services attendants were super helpful at the check in and check out. The groundskeeper, Jason(?), was really kind actually gave us a bit of a tour of the grounds with stories to accompany the impromptu tour. The bartender (wish I could remember her name) did an amazing job and had the coffee fresh and ready when we asked for some. The room was spacious and the best was super comfortable. We enjoyed walking the grounds and being so close to the beach that we took a morning and evening stroll. It was an absolutely fantastic place to stay!!

Friendly employees, fresh and pleasant smell on each floor including the lobby.... a well cleaned environment. We loved the pool area and it has a swim up bar so you'll be able to order drinks without leaving the facilities. Free parking!

✓ The bed was comfortable but the pillows were not. ✓ Guests who want to visit the pool area will need to walk a few minutes to reach the pool area (from the Grand Centennial hotel). I didn't have any problem walking but for people with walking limitations it could be uncomfortable.

Would have loved for kid friendly food options for breakfast and lunch. Maybe offer a shuttle to the pool area, in the heat with children that can be a little miserable for them with carrying your necessities. The king bed didn’t have fitted sheets on the bottom, the bed was not comfortable to us and the sheets keep pulling up bc of it. I requested a kid cot and didn’t have that available. Other than that we love coming to the oasis each year.

Very comfortable bed and pillows... and clean! Grateful! Modern, smelled wonderful, very helpful staff, excellent food and wonderful pool! Beautiful!

Couldn't seem to repair air conditioning. 🤔 There was know-how though I believe thought it best to choose the setting. Disapproved on vacation. Their lit fountain was not working because an angry family broke it during a storm. Sad!
