Holiday Inn Express - Gulfport Beach, an IHG Hotel

Staff was exceptional. Breakfast had a wide variety of items. Very close to the beach and easy to get to other nearby restaurants and activities.

Somewhat noisy, we had a room facing the beach (and highway), and also sound traveled in the hallways. Bathroom was quite small (with a too-large door) but well-appointed. There was extra space in one corner of the room which would have benefited from an extra chair with a foot stool or maybe moving the desk and chair there and adding another chair where the desk was. Parking was tight around back. There could have been an easier way to walk to the beach. But these are small matters, overall--very nice.

Great location right across the street from the beach...clean rooms...staff was very welcoming... breakfast was actually good...pool is small but still had a great time... definitely will choose this hotel again in the future.

The parking garage is not big truck friendly and if you don't have a handicap sticker then you can forget about parking there as they have to many handicap parking spaces... there's really not a good location for you to unload your luggage unless you get a parking spot in the garage area...the elevator is extremely slow...but that's not anything to keep me from staying here again.

AMAZING Breakfast! Sausage everyday of our 3 day stay. One day was turkey sausage patties and bacon, other 2 days had pork links or turkey patties. Also had Eggs, potatoes, pancakes, biscuits and sausage gravy and all of the normal "Continental breakfast" stuff (Bagels, fruits, cereal, toast, oatmeal. Rooms were clean, soft beds and firm and soft pillows. Beachfront pool and gulf view from our room (302) .

Pool was dingy looking, and I guess it is near a hospital because we had several ambulances come by every day.

Quick convenient check in/out, pool, free breakfast, rooms, amenities, friendly staff, cleanliness, location and PRICE.

This is our 2nd stay at this hotel/location and would DEFINITELY stay again. Great value for location and rooms. Staff great, rooms clean and just as luxurious as the so called luxury rooms at the overpriced casinos and I've stayed at the Golden Nugget, Hard Rock, Margaritaville, Imperial Palace and Island View on numerous occasions in the past. The only thing more "luxurious" about those resorts is the name brand and price. The resort rooms have no more amenities or decor than the Holiday Inn Express.

Location: close to hospital, main road and the beach. Also, I had just finished making reservations for 2 days, Monday and Tuesday. Then, we had to rush over to Gulfport early Sunday morning, in severe thunderstorms the whole 2 hours of traveling. So, we called and got the extra night, Sunday. So then, we only needed Sunday and Monday. We had to leave Tuesday and they were able to adjust it, and remove Tuesday night for us, with no fee.

We had to change rooms because the phone didn't work. The maintenance guy took care of that, right away. He asked us If we wanted another room. He offered to help move us. He left to arrange for another room and came back with new room key cards, and he helped move our stuff. We didn't have to deal with different workers or go down to the front desk. He did it all! My mother had just passed away. He didn't know that. It's just the fact, that he expedited the situation, quickly and smoothly. Oh...and his name is Shinto! Also, the bathtub should've had another handicapped bar, along the back wall. It only had one bar. It was vertical, next to the shower and faucet.

The location of the hotel "view of the beach" from our room was excellent!!! We Love that you use Dove products!!! The parking was great!!! We Love the pool!!!

We didn't like that the pillows and bed covers had yellow stains in them and when I went to make coffee as I got ready to pour the water I noticed that inside was dirty as though it haven't been clean in a while. The mirror in the room was cleaned at top and middle but the bottom was missed.

The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was awesome. Mary Anne worked nonstop making sure all the breakfast items were stocked and fresh. It was nice to see someone who loved her job and so happy to make sure everyone was taken care of. The location was great, not far from attractions and restaurants and all we had to do was walk across the street get to the beach. The view from the hotel of the beach was great.

It would be nice to have a bathroom close to the pool so you didn’t have to go back inside to the second floor to use the bathroom.

Location was awesome

Had trouble paying bill. After 1/2 hour and phone call to my bank, the problem was the card reader which the desk clerk had to be told to change readers. She did not seem to think to try a different reader until the bank advised Me to tell her. It went right through but booking was canceled and had to be reset up. An hour to get checked in after a 7 hour drive

We really enjoyed this property. The pool was nice. The beach was within walking distance. And it was surrounded by some excellent restaurants. Location was great!!

My only complaint was our room was the first one by the elevator and every time someone used the elevator the motor would randomly wake us up all hours of the night.

The room was quite comfortable

I booked the room in advance but couldn't make it to the property until late. I requested that my partner be able to check in for me. When they get there that could not take place. They had to put it on their card . It was a hassle. You all should let your clients know that this process cannot happen
