Hotel Indigo Hattiesburg, an IHG Hotel

Beautifully decorated hotel with upgraded fixtures and whimsical statement pieces; includes a stand-alone quality restaurant with a great menu; in a cool-looking convenient location; we ate dinner at the restaurant both nights pretty late and the food was consistently delicious and offered great service;

The quality of cleaning and customer service did not match the quality of the decor; old food smeared on the wall by the trash; room wholly dusty; coffee pot was dirty with a chip of pink nail paint in it; the bathroom floors weren’t swept; we only ever made one request (extra towels), and that was wholly ignored. It was unfortunate for a property with so much promise.

Great location, right across the street fron the university. Several places to eat a few steps out the door. They have their own, good, restaurant also. I would use again.

Only ding no breakfast while costing 25 to 40% more than other hotels in the area. Its minor, but I was surprised not even a granola bar. It had been a while since Ive stayed at a high-end hotel w/o breakfast.

It was clean, and updated.

There were no breakfast options In the hotel. When I asked the front desk about breakfast at 8:30 am on a Sunday, she said “I guess I could call someone in”. For the high price of the hotel, with other hotel options nearby that were less pricey, I would’ve expected a breakfast option. Coffee in the lobby was terrible.

Clean and attractive hotel with a range of food options nearby. The location is pleasant and the hotel itself has modern amenities. The bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great.

Possibly because there were clearly a lot of other guests at the hotel when we were visiting, but the staff often seemed quite overwhelmed and not especially warm, from rushing us through check-in to getting a bit ignored by the bar staff. Relative to other hotels in the region, it is quite expensive.

We liked the on site restaurant. Food was good. The beds were quite comfortable.

When we tried to reach room service the call could not be completed. Fast busy. We had to go down to the restaurant to place our room service request. Staff was very helpful. Also tried to call the desk with the same result.

Fantastic location & friendly staff. Rooms were nicely done and very clean. There is a great breakfast place within walking distance if you have people in your group who get up earlier than others.

The rooms could use a little more sound proofing as the family next to us had noisy children.

My girlfriend and I decided to go to Hattiesburg for the weekend of the 4th to ride the Longleaf Trace and just get away from home for a couple of days. The Indigo was a great location as it was only 0.7 miles from the Trace, surrounded by 9 restaurants within 100 yards walking distance. The room was spotless. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were very friendly and helpful when we needed anything. The property was spotless and parking was great. Will stay at the Indigo again when we decide to go back to Hattiesburg.

No complaints. Everything went really well.

Location location is great!

It smelled like cigarettes in my room.. and the floors could’ve been clean just a little better I saw trash on the sides of the bed and the shower corners were dirty

Hotel Indigo is a lovely boutique hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Located in a place with restaurant options. Really comfortable rooms.

Breakfast only offered by restaurant next door, which doesn’t open until 7. Would be nice to have an option for early risers who have to leave by 7 am.

Room was cozy and quiet. Mattress was comfortable. I like the wood floors and glass enclosed shower. AC/Heating unit was quiet!

Shower door track was not cleaned. Toilet paper was not changed when we arrived.
