MountainView Lodge and Suites

The pool was great the room was large. Fantastic location. The breakfast was good.

There was a young man who was very rude when we checked in. He was not helpful, would not give us extra pillows or blankets. We had to go to the front desk to ask about a remote for the TV because it didn’t work. He came to the room and he said they don’t give the correct remotes to the rooms because customers don’t log off. He stepped on our items with his shoes and didn’t step around things. The phone was broken so we couldn’t call to the front desk and there was no one else working so we had to endure him. The staff the next morning we’re done but wouldn’t give extra towels unless I unleashed the ones in my room that were dirty. So I had to walk down my own towels.

The breakfast had some good variety and there was cold water available with and without lemon. Hot chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon were a nice treat. The room was quiet and comfortable. Housekeeping checked each morning to see if I needed anything.

There is no mountain view, so don't let the name of the "MountainView" lodge mislead you. The view from every vantage point was basically roads and a railroad. So, for example, when we stay in Hawaii, an ocean view room lets you see the ocean. There was no seeing the mountain at this hotel. Also, the hot breakfast was the same every morning. That gets a bit boring.

Excellent value in Bozeman. While not in downtown, it can be reached in a few miles. Location is a very easy 6-mile drive to the airport. Decent, basic breakfast with hot scrabbled eggs and sausage patties daily. Friendly staff, who kept the hotel lobby clean (which is challenge during wintry weather). Rooms are larger than average in this price range. We paid a small premium for the two-room suite, which was nice. Hotel is quiet.

Hot tub was out of service for repair/reconditioning, a bummer during this wintertime visit. No elevator in this two-story hotel, in which most rooms are on the second story. Ample free parking, with lot maintained during wintry conditions.

The Lodge has undergone continuous rennovation/upgrade according to staff and it shows! For example, the bathroom (always an indicator) was clean, new everything and spotless. Beds were comfortable and our suite spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose a suite which had an outer "living room", separate bathroom and sink/counter areas, and a large bedroom with microwave and refrigerator. Everything was what we needed with visiting family (kids loved the pool!)

Remember this is a highway-side lodge, like a number of the others in the area along Hwy 90. The others provide similar "standard" rooms (see their pictures) but those looked a bit dated. This is not the upscale expensive hotel. But what you get for the rates is really well balanced.

Our room has a very large jacuzzi tub and fireplace. The room was exceptionally large which was awesome. It had two sinks and a regular tub/shower besides the jacuzzi. The hotel has easy access to I-90 and is located near a plethora of shopping and great places to eat.

The hotel is in a very nice location. It was quiet and clean. I like that you just request service as needed. The pool was great. The staff were great and quick to take care of anything we asked. The bed was comfortable. .

The hot tub jets were not working and when we asked they said they had to be off for a say for repair, which is understandable, but maybe find a way to post it so people don't have to go ask. The fan in the bathroom in our room did not work. The one outlet did not work by the sink. There was nothing big just minor up keep.

Raine was incredible and worked with us to get a view. The hotel is a little complicated to get into, but there is signage and it was not difficult to figure out. Our room was clean, quiet and we felt safe. The evening cookie was a nice touch. Breakfast included eggs, sausage and waffles. Maddie knew we had an early flight and not only had everything ready ahead of time, but graciously allowed us to begin breakfast early. We enjoyed our stay and would come here again.

You may or may not have any view of the surrounding mountains. The hot tub is stone cold.

It was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. It was close to freeway. Breakfast was good, choices of hot and cold food.

While it didn't bother me there are no elevators so it might be difficult for elderly or handicapped. This wasn't the hotels fault but the people above us were very noisy, walking and running above our room continually. Close to the train tracks but they didn't run after midnight either that or I slept through it.

Quitest hotel we have ever stayed in. Very clean in all areas. Bed was comfortable, pool area was very roomy and spread out. Breakfast had great options.

The cleaner they used has an interesting odor. My son thought it smelled like old ladys. It also would have been convenient to have a drop off area for bags. Its just a big parking lot so we had to hike across with the luggage. We were there for a sports tournament so we had more bags than usual. Its definately not a deal breaker though!

Attractive lodge off the highway. Nice room - we had a regular room with two beds. About 4 miles to downtown Bozeman. Convenient from the airport.

Being a bit out of town not much around to walk to - there seems to be a restaurant in the same complex but it didn't seem to be open since when we asked about restaurants staff just told us to drive to downtown Bozeman.
