Perfect ski lodge style hotel. Spacious room/suite. Large, cosy lobby with real flame gas fire burning pretty much 24/7. Lovely and warm even though it was sub-zero outside and snowing. Breakfast was simple self serve, but all fresh, continually replenished, constantly being checked and wiped down. Coffee on tap throughout breakfast sitting (6am-9am). Iced water, boiling water and teabags available 24/7. Coffee machine using ‘coffee bags’ in room for out of hours. Free cookies and fruit in reception. Friendly and helpful staff. Mountain view from our room - with the dryness and clarity of the Montana air they looked close enough to touch. Plenty of parking. Easy 15 minutes drive from the airport, and just as easy 10 minute drive to central Bozeman or the University. Pool and hot tub open from early in the morning until late at night - come and go as you please, free towels provided in the pool, shower and bathroom to the side of the pool, seating at small tables or on loungers. In all, a perfect hotel for an overnight or longer stay (we stayed for a week). Would highly recommend.

A couple of ceramic mugs in the room would have been nice, rather than paper or plastic ones that were provided. Also the same for breakfast - being from the UK we were surprised to find that breakfast was served on paper plates, that the cutlery was single use plastic, and the cups were paper or plastic. However these were minor issues that didn’t in any way detract from what is otherwise a great hotel.

Very clean but most of all the staff is exceptional. We had a car fire which hurt our little service dog and she was hospitalized there at the emergency vet next door. Your staff was so helpful and caring. This was the very best experience we’ve ever had at any hotel. And my husband travels for work so he stays in hotels a lot. Lydia is the most caring, helpful and sweet lady. She was always there. Working so hard but always smiling and helpful. She is one exceptional employee. Thank you for a perfect stay. We will only use this hotel when we’re in Bozeman. Thank you

Clean, very nice surroundings Such a beautiful mountain cabin look and feel and so very clean.

The one (king) bedroom suite with living room and full kitchen is bigger than our adult kid's apartment. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything worked. The staff were outstanding: professional, effective and friendly. Other than the occasional and very loud snow plow, we did not experience the noise from outside or neighboring guests that others have commented on. I had called in a request for a quiet room and noted that an upper floor unit was OK with us prior to check-in. That is what we got. The compromise made for quiet nights and restful sleep was climbing two flights of stairs, a win-win for our health and well-being!

The price was at the high end of our budget, but we were glad we sprung for it.

Clean room, all day amazing coffee, longer breakfast hours which was a real plus very close to campus and best yet LOVED the trains that entertained us as they literally passed in front of the hotel.... made of game out of "what was in the closed train cars?". Noise was NOT an issue (aka the scene in My Cousin Vinny- LOL!!) We did not use the pool facilities but they were immaculate and no harsh chlorine smells filling hotel lobby as in other hotels.

Needs more table lights - if the window curtains closed it was too dark in room to do any work Towels did not dry quickly enough even after being hung up they were very damp - especially hand towels at sink

All of the staff working the breakfast area were EXCEPTIONAL. They were constantly refilling and cleaning up when there were spills or for any reason. The gentleman that worked the breakfast shift on Oct4-6 was the BEST! He was friendly and such a hard worker. Don't lose him! We also asked for some special assistance with some flowers we were leaving for our sister's special occasion and the staff was very accommodating! We loved our room for it's size and comfort. The KING bed was cozy and the room had extra space too (205).

The grouting around the sink area needs work. The bathroom light cover fell off whike we were out of the room. Glad it didn't land on our heads! We didnt have much of a view but the amenities like: refrigerator, ironing board and spacious room were a plus! I also would have loved to be more in town so we could walk to the shops, but family reserved the hotel for us.

The breakfast was great and we loved the room with the jacuzzi! It was very comfortable. And very close to the airport and not far from downtown Bozeman, shopping, groceries etc. The staff is very friendly. The pool also has a jacuzzi and both are wonderful, especially if you've been driving a lot. It's a great location to go either to the north or south to Yellowstone. Also, it was great to have the fridge and microwave so you can get groceries and not have to go out to eat.

There is a freight train close by but it's quiet, does not whistle but just something to be aware of.

We love Mountainview Lodge and Suites and stay there whenever we vacation in Montana. Usually our first and last nights. Super convenient location close to Bozeman and the Bozeman Airport. The rooms are big (last year we even had a jacuzzi in the room), the staff is helpful and friendly, the breakfast selection is excellent, there's plenty of parking and the indoor pool is open until late in the evening. Close to shopping malls, restaurants and area attractions And the Lodge itself is homey, with a beautiful lobby featuring pine timbers and a huge fireplace. Great value for money.

Breakfast was a nice buffet, which was a pleasant surprise. I had called to inquire about breakfast because we had early-morning rounds of golf for three days and it was important! I was told they had biscuits and gravy, which cost $1.77 extra each day. Fortunately, this information wasn't correct. We enjoyed breakfast each morning. It was certainly adequate and freshly prepared. The dining area was kept very clean.

Location wasn't the best. Busy roadways nearby made it difficult to find a good area to walk. Also, their were trains that went by quite close to the motel, but we got kind of used to hearing them and it didn't disrupt our sleep much.

The indoor pool and hot tub was a pleasure. We sat poolside and enjoyed a relaxing morning after arriving. Lydia, the head housekeeper was awesome. She went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. The staff was continuing cleaning the building and it always smelled fresh. I saw staff performing multiple tasks with a smile. The breakfast was surprisingly satisfying. Bread, bagels, English muffins for roasting, eggs and sausage, the best was the waffle station! Lemon water, coffee and hot water was readily available 24/7 in the lobby.

The only downside was that the hotel was a distance away from Main Street but a quick Uber ride (avg. $14) solved that.

The very helpful woman, possible co-manager, was amazing. With no elevator she carried BOTH of our large suitcases up the stairs. She helped us with the door between our rooms that was hard to open. She manages the breakfast bar and always has a smile on her face. She NEEDS a RAISE in PAY!!! The breakfast eggs/sausage was hot and the eggs were not runny. The beds were very comfortable. The 19th hole pub across from the hotel was very handy.

An elevator would have been nice.
