Perfectly located from Gardiner and Yellowstone North Entrance (when it will re open so beware). Very nice setting, tipis are very comfortable and nicely decorated. They have heating and even wi-fi which we could not find inside the Yellowstone hotels. The showers spaces are very spacious and well kept. They are officially shared but are so numerous that in the end everyone had more or less private one. We particularly enjoyed the camp fire with the drinks at sunset when we could discuss nicely with other guests. Finally we loved seing elks strolling freely in the property.

We stayed two nights, but were surprised that our beds were not done after our first night. Getting to Yellowstone North gate is unfortunately impossible due to repair job unless using commercial vehicle. So we had to take over 4 hours from West gate to get there and the same time back.

Simply because we wanted to get a very early morning start, we did not take advantage of the breakfast. However, the coffee was excellent. It was ready bright and early. Well, perhaps not bright but certainly early.

Frankly, there was nothing to dislike. How can one not enjoy a 'private' fireplace adjacent to the Tippi? For that matter, the communal huge fireplace encouraged socializing with other patrons. Not to mention the smores, juice, wine, beer, and water. Did I forget to say they were all complimentary? Additionally, the genuinely warm welcome we received by our hosts. Thank you so very much for a fantastic time.

This place is amazing!!! The best "glamping" ever! A beautiful setting. The tipis are so comfortable and large. There is electricity and heaters in the tipis. You have a short walk to the bathrooms, but they are individual large full-sized bathrooms with plenty of hot water and fully stocked with shampoo/soaps/towels. The nightly included smores and happy hour is amazing and thoughtful. The breakfast is great for being a "grab and go". They even have plenty of snacks, so you can take them with you for your day of exploring Yellowstone.

Minimal food options around the area, so eat before you arrive, though there is a cute mexican food truck in the property next door.

CLEAN. CLEAN. CLEAN. Every second I turned the bathrooms were being touched up or the dining tables wiped off. Bedding was super comfortable! Loved the treats provided during evening fire pit. If you decide to go HORSEBACK please use the most AMAZING crew only 15 min. from the tepees- Google search: Specimen Creek Outfitters! Phone: (406) 548-2742. Address: 14 Hanlon Hill Dr. Gardiner, MT

Breakfast foods are minimal. I think the tepees would be even more amazing if they had mini fridges. They also get insanely hot during the day in the summer. Mini AC’s would be a nice luxury as well but I guess this defeats the purpose of glamping.

We liked the community atmosphere, chatting with others around the main campfire, sharing stories, and having complimentary drinks and making s'mores. Comfortable beds in the tipis and clean, easy to access bathrooms! Truly a unique experience! For the bathrooms, there were about 9 of them and 8 had showers. Our family of four didn't have to wait to use them. There seemed to be at least one or two available for when we needed them. They were clean every time I walked into them. The tipis had two small portable heaters available if needed, and had plenty of outlets for charging all of our devices. WiFi was good, not terribly laggy or anything. I could get done what I needed to. The breakfast in the morning was pretty good, from oatmeals to cereals, yogurts, granola bars and fruit. Stuff you could take with you to wherever you're exploring. And of course coffee, tea, and various juices. Dinner is not served so you'll need to grab something in Gardiner before returning to Dreamcatcher (avoid Yellowstone Pizza Company, the first pizza place out of the park. The pizza tastes like frozen pizza and they only serve one pasta dish. Not much to choose from overall, sorry.). The staff at Dreamcatcher was friendly and engaging. They seemed genuinely happy to be there and to be helpful. And the surroundings were incredibly inspiring. A river nearby and you're tucked into a little valley between the green mountains. Thanks so much!

Not much. Pretty much liked everything. The community is closer to the main road than expected though, but you don't really feel or hear that.

Location was amazing, you are in a teepee but it feels more like a luxury hotel room. The hills are all around you, the river, and the friendly elk and other wildlife wander right into the property. We also really enjoyed bbq ing our dinner at night. Roasting marshmallows at night was a big hit with our son!

We loved everything, the breakfast is fairly basic so that was our least favorite part but it was still good and an awesome experience overall.

This is the first time we have stayed at the Tipi Hotel. It is such a unique hotel. We all loved the experience. It is a good location surrounded by mountains, we can see so many stars in the sky at night. The Yellowstone Hot Springs Resort is just a few minutes away. The tipi tent is very comfortable. The bathroom and shower area are very nice and very clean. They have a community camp fire in the evening with complementary wine, beer, juice and S'mores. Breakfast was good too. Other than it did not have any meat items available, it had a good variety of items, hard boiled egg, oatmeal, yogurt, juice, cheese, fruit, and even instant Vietnamese Pho. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is remote in Gardiner, and at first, it was intimidating! You feel like you are literally in the middle of nowhere. However, this property is only 5 miles from the North gate of Yellowstone and there is a town right down the street (Gardiner) with a grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, etc. Peaceful and quiet, very comfortable tipis and beds, bathrooms enough for everyone so waiting for a bathroom is minimal. Bathrooms are clean and warm. Breakfast had a great variety to choose from. Campfire at night was fun and a great way to meet other travelers. Our boys (18 and 10 yrs old) loved staying here, there were plenty of other kids for them to hang out with and make friends.

WiFi is such a conundrum. When you see the location of this property, it stands to reason that WiFi would be spotty at best and probably outside of management's control. But it is a problem not having reliable WiFi or cell service. We had trouble pulling up Google maps, so often we were "winging it" when we set out in the car. We also own a small business, and we absolutely need to be reachable. WiFi here is very sporadic, mostly unresponsive in the common areas, and completely nonexistent inside our tipi. While the thought of being unplugged for a few days is a plus to most vacationers, if you require cell service or WiFi, just be aware that this is a remote property and WiFi is unreliable at best.

We stayed for two nights, and I wish we would have stayed longer! Everything was exceptionally clean, tipi’s each had their own gas firepit, inside was very comfortable & nice. Their attention to details was amazing! We especially liked the nightly fire in the central firepit with smores & beverages (adult beverages as well as a good assortment on non-alocholic beverages). The view from our tipi #2 was breath taking!!! Bath house facilities were cleaner & nicer that many hotels we’ve stayed at. Staying there made our trip! Special thanks to Faith, Jameson & Will for the A+ hospitality!!! LOVE IT!!

That we didn’t stay longer lol No complaints!

Our family of 4 (including boys 12 and 13 yo) spent one night in a tipi and it was so nice. The accommodations were clean, classy and very spacious. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of blankets to keep us warm. We didn't even need to use the heaters in the tipi. The bathrooms were the cleanest we encountered on our whole trip ( we also stayed in 1 hotel in Jackson and 2 hotels inside Yellowstone). The refreshments and s'mores at the main campfire were a great touch in the evening. Matt (one of the hosts that night) made great dinner recommendations in Gardiner and was happy to answer our questions. The continental-type breakfast provided in the morning had great variety. It's pricey, but it was worth it to us. It was a great way to unwind after a week of hiking in the parks.
