Annabell Gardens

I like that it was a full on 1 bedroom apartment with a washer and dryer. I didn't need to use it, but I like having the option. The unit was comfortable and it had a full kitchen and full size refrigerator! There are plenty of food options close by and within walking distance. There are free slushies, soft serve ice cream, juice, coffee, and water available in the lobby 24/7! The staff was friendly!

Because of the addition of the washer and dryer it makes the bathroom a lot smaller. There's barely enough room to put my toiletries and the bathroom itself is just cramped. The hot water cut out in the middle of my shower and I had to rinse the shampoo out of my hair with freezing cold water. The beds definitely gave me a backache. The soundproofing isn't great, you can hear people talking outside, people walking around in the room upstairs, and cars revving their engines off the main street. There were several younger groups of guests around the common areas which leads me to think this might be a popular hotel for parties or younger crowds.

The room was cozy and clean. Very clean grounds that are very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and polite. The breakfast was awesome. They saved us money by not having to go out to breakfast or grocery store for a 3 day trip. The 24 hr slushy machine and soft serve ice cream machine was a great amenity. Everything looks recently remodeled and new in the room. New cabinets, granite countertops, new toilet.

The price is a bit high for the location, but we needed a place that allowed our dog. The coffee maker is very cheap and not worth even using. We just went to the lobby and grabbed coffee instead. There was an outlet that didn't work, which happened to be the one the coffee maker was in front of. The lighting could be better, at least on the ground floor units. To open the curtains for more light during the day was not possible if getting dressed. An addition of a full-length mirror would be great, too.

This was one of the best places we stayed at! Has everything you need - kitchen, washer and dryer. Was like a mini-apartment. Great breakfast. Loved the slushy machine and soft-serve ice cream machines available 24/7.

The only negative was the water heater - which they can't do anything about. Its size is dictated by law. There was barely enough hot water for one person to shower, so you had to stagger your showers. We were able to work around this so it wasn't a major issue.

The room was actually a one bedroom condo. Plenty of room. Full kitchen. The complimentary breakfast was a full restaurant-type meal. Really. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, PANCAKES!, breads, donuts. I LOVED IT, Parking was readily available. There was a nice, but small, pool area and a couple of work-out machines…which I should have used after eating all the pancakes at breakfast. The price was very good for what you got.

The rooms/suites need some upgrading. The sofas are old and worn. Our shower dripped.

The breakfast was amazing! Good hot choices including scrambled eggs, sausage and biscuits with gravy! :) They even had an assortment of pastries and/or doughnuts. Several types of juices and different flavors of cappuccino! Yogurt and fresh fruit also. The room was perfect for our needs, a family of four. It's so nice to have a sitting area with sofa and TV, and also a full kitchen for making some of our meals right there, if desired. Overall, great value. Would love to stay here again! Good staff! Thank you for your hospitality!

We liked everything!

We were pleasantly surprised with this location, having never stayed here before and not quite knowing what to expect. Our room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Loved having a kitchenette in our room! Pots, pans, and dishes were provided. We actually stayed in one day and made dinner for my daughter whom we were visiting. The breakfast they offered was big and had good variety. Free coffee, smoothies, and ice cream throughout the day! The staff was friendly and efficient. I liked how they were set up here. Almost like little cottages. Nice touch. We would definitely stay here again! Next time I'm getting a room with a fireplace though!

Breakfast was very good. The location was central to the places we needed to be.

This was the only room I've ever stayed in that didn't have a full-length mirror. The only mirror was the small one above the bathroom sink. Also, that only mirror was in a dark "hole" that made applying makeup difficult. The king size bed was nice, but it was so big that there was only room for one night stand. My husband had to use that for his CPAP. I had to put my things on the floor.

I liked the style of a condo instead of it being a hotel. Even if it was by one of the busiest streets you would have not been able to tell. I would stay here again.

I didn’t like that the showers were cold. It says to wait 25 minutes in between showers but even then it was cold. I had to tell the front desk and they needed to check the breakers and water heater. I needed to book another night and one of the staff wasn’t very nice.

The suite was fantastic. It had a nice living room area with TV and fireplace which was open to the full kitchen with a nice island. The bedroom was large with lots of extra room around the king bed, sliding doors to the patio, dresser, and full size clothes closet. The laundry closet had a full size washer and dryer. The bathroom was extremely clean and roomy..

The toilet was too small, it was not an ADA size or height toilet.

We loved the privacy and the feel of it being like our own apartment. We enjoyed the complimentary ice cream, slushees, and cappuccinos! Those were a wonderful unique touch to make our stay special. the convenience store corner is awesome!!! friendly staff and to just sum everything up- we loved the unique touches that other hotels don’t offer. we already can’t wait to visit again.

The only complaints we had were very minor. the carpet was wet close to the sliding door patio but that was probably because of the rain. This wasn’t anyones fault but we were bummed we missed swimming opportunities because of the rain, but like I said before we will take advantage next time! no real complaints from us!
