Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lincoln Southeast

Yay for the mounted dispensers in the shower! Love not having to deal with little bottles of shampoo or dropping bars of soap! Also kudos for the great design of placing the shower faucet where you don't get blasted with scalding or freezing water. We were all very impressed with the quality and freshness of the fruit and the continental type breakfast selections. The availability of yogurt was appreciated and juices and tea for non coffee drinkers was terrific. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast Friday morning with everything pre-packaged, but I felt much better about it on Saturday. I guess weekends are a bit busier to justify having a real pot of oatmeal rather than packaged cups of freeze-dried oatmeal but I also see the wisdom for those who are still a bit leery of exposure to covid and appreciate the grab and go features. I was also very pleasantly surprised by the egg and spinach or artichoke (?) quiche. It is a wonderful vegetarian option and very tasty. Not so much for the jalapeno souffle. Coffee as always was great and impressed by the number of different types of milk and cream.

One of the bedside lamps with outlets for phone chargers at the base was tied to the switch at the door, so if you turned off the switch, you can't turn on the lamp in the morning and worse, the phone didn't charge because the outlet was "off". There was a nearby wall outlet at the side of the bed but there should be a sign to warn guests or reconfigure the outlet.

The slick modern design was pretty cool to see, very comfortable. The bathroom was the biggest hotel bathroom out of the three hotels we stayed in. The front counter person named Aiden was super polite and cool to talk to, this was resfreshing.

The only problem I had was just a top sheet of mine was little stained but not horrible, but that can be fixed by requesting new ones. My family and I were just staying one night so it wasn’t a big deal cause it was my bed and we would be back on the road by 7am

It was so nice & clean. The staff was super kind and attentive to any requests or questions we had. The continental breakfast was WONDERFUL!…Such a good, wide variety of breakfast items were available. The staff was so attentive & quickly refilled any breakfast foods that were eaten up…..especially the LARGE STRAWBERRIES!!!! YUMMMMMM! Good coffee too!

Location was excellent for us. Right off highway 2 was a definite plus. The choice of restaurants close by was great. Being by a Sam's Club/Walmart was convenient, too.

At breakfast, they ran out of yogurt and French Vanilla creamer for our last three days. Not a big thing, just something we like at breakfast. The variety of things served at breakfast was okay.

Friendly staff, clean, in a nice area, walking distance to walmart and sams club

need more parking, had to park in the 15 min parking since it was a night they sold out. Need to trim some tree branches, hang over and hit pickup in parking spot.

M y wife and I were in town for her medical procedure, and the reservation was for 2 nights. They had her all prepped, but the doctor decided to postpone for 30 days. Naturally, our stuff were still in the room, but the manager on duty allowed us to pack and head home without charging us for the second night, which I had told him I was totally prepared to pay. I felt he really went the extra step to be fair in this instance, and we'll be back in a month!!

The beds felt comfortable at first, but seemed to be too firm by morning. Not really their fault, as I have some back issues. Otherwise, very nice property.

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. They thought I left my iPad in my room. But had wrong room but they called me and asked if I had left it. No one has ever done that when I’ve left something behind

Better breakfast but understandable with the way things are these days

Nice, new hotel in a great location. Convenient distance from shops, food and everything you could ever need.

The only downside we had on this stay was being in the room next to the kitchen / food prep room so it got a little noisy in the early morning hours when they’d be preparing for breakfast, but other than that, no complaints!

It was a peaceful stay and very clean. Staff was wonderful. The safety of the property was very good. with covid we really just stayed in room and ordered out. check out was simple.

We didn't have enough LARGE TOWELS we only had 1 in our room. We asked the Sunday before check out cause we needed another towel for my husband and was told NO LARGE TOWELS!! I would have thought there was going to be 2 or 4 like all other times we stayed there.

You can tell it is a newer hotel. The lobby and breakfast area were updated and spacious. The rooms were well cleaned and comfortable. My son loved the pool. Great stay!
