Nice rooms, really good pretty location and pretty building. Very high quality bed. I really enjoyed sleeping there. The on-site bar & restaurant may be an attraction for some .. (but I don't drink and tend to avoid restaurant food in general). Overall a classy nice place with great staff.

Breakfast was carby muffins and other assorted fattening sugary foods. They did provide me with some hard-boiled eggs on request though. If you like sugar for breakfast, then the breakfast is for you. If you, like me, avoid carbs (especially sugary ones), go for the hard-boiled eggs or eat elsewhere.

I liked the small private hotel feel. The location was quiet and we felt like we were really away from home while staying in our city. The dining was elegant and tasteful. Our room was large and very comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable, and the shower large. We loved the supplied robes as an added touch. Staff was very professional. Free breakfast was just right. We would definately stay here again.

the shower head spray was too hard and not adjustable, which then caused a mess of water because there’s just a partial glass. There was a note on our door saying that there was a complain of someone smoking in the area of our room and we would be charged 250.00 if they determined it was coming from our room. I told the receptionist that I was 110% sure it wasn’t coming from our room, and that if they wanted to figure out if it was us they should have knocked so they could check. a note on our door wasn’t going to figure it out. but non the less, it is a great place and I would go again and recommend it to everyone. 😊

The Centennial Hotel made me feel at home right away. They have a few pet rooms available which I greatly appreciated. They also give dogs a wonderful welcome with a bed, pet blanket, a toy to keep and some treats! The bed was quite comfortable and everything was very clean. I appreciate the details of the hotel as it feels so much more homey than the more standard chain hotels nearby.

The pet fee is a bit higher than most hotels I’ve been to ($50/night).

Location was fine, easy enough to get in and out. Breakfast was as expected for a hotel when it is included in the room rate. Sparse and basic, but expecting eggs and bacon is unrealistic unless it is specifically advertised, or is available at additional cost. Everything was as expected, and the room was clean and comfortable.

If I had to really think about it, I suppose you could paint the parking area a bit better. It's just a large oddly shaped area where whomever parks first sets the way everyone else parks. No real organization via lines and such. Everything was good, and I hadn't really considered negatives until I read this question, and the parking is all that popped into my mind.

The room was huge and the bed very comfy. The staff were friendly & breakfast was fabulous. The room was cool when we worked out how to use the aircon unit. It was a short walk into downtown to explore the area and there were numerous eateries-we opted for Constantly Pizza which was fab. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We were on the ground level and noise from the plumbing from upper rooms was quite intrusive. It’s an older property so perhaps to be expected. It was a shame as it did lower the ambience somewhat.

The continental breakfast has all you need for a basic start to your day. There was fruit, oatmeal, cereals, coffee tea and more. They also had some hardboiled eggs which was great! If you're looking for a fancier sit down breakfast, you'll need to go out to find that. I love the old building, it feels like home while still having the privacy of a hotel. The pet gifts were an added bonus!

I loved everything about this beautiful hotel. Whatever you do don't listen to some of these negative reviews. This hotel was built in 1892 and was a mansion at one point. It's not brand new. But it's beautiful. It's very very clean. It was very comfortable and very quiet. I cannot wait to go back. I'd pick this hotel over any boxed hotel any day of the week. The staff is super also
