very large room, comfy beds - furniture a little old and worn but not an issue - felt retro. location excellent. hotel grounds were magnificent. Great sized pool. truly lovely staff, very helpful and friendly and kind. Great Bar, great food options in the morning as well as pizzas... dogs allowed - really not much to complain about here.

tip: make sure you tell the front desk if you want your room cleaned and serviced during your stay - otherwise your room will not be cleaned. wasn't an issue, just wasn't made entirely clear. have experienced this at the Asbury as well so not sure if this is a leftover thing from covid or what - but cleaning wasn't automatic.

Beautiful room, very comfortable with a lovely view. The location was great, close to the beach and boardwalk. We went to the Stone Pony for a concert and it was a quick walk!

There was no coffee available in the morning! There was a station set up on 1st floor with boiling water but no coffee. I asked at front desk about coffee and then there was confusion re why there was no coffee and they stated that it would be out shortly. I waited for approx 10 mins and still no coffee. A coffee pot in the room would have been a good solution! In addition front desk staff had very little information regarding breakfast locations nearby and recommended a diner that they stated was a 10 min drive. We did our own research and found good breakfast options nearby and we walked to Ocean Grove and had a delicious breakfast at The Starving Artist!

Accessibility to beach and the Boardwalk is great. There are some good restaurants and shops nearby. The room was comfortable and clean. The service at check in and out was excellent. There is also a beautiful pool and and seats and tables in a well manicured manicured area on the pool side of the building. There is a Bar with food and drink service at the pool. There also is a coffee shop with a pizza oven during the day. There also is a shop that sell ice cream, other treats, and some sundry items.

The tub in the bathroom is a little high to the floor. This creates a bit of step to get in and out. The sink in the bathroom looked good but was more for than show than practical use. Otherwise a delightful stay.

Front desk staff, particularly Shea, were delightful and very helpful. We had a few "hiccups" but staff was on it immediately! Location is super...directly across the street from the beach. We'd also like to mention and thank Juan who helped with our luggage etc. He was so accommodating and kind...hilarious too. We loved him! Both Shea and Juan went out of their way for us. We received a room upgrade and even a complimentary 2 hour late check out. Will definitely be back. My first time there and my first time visiting Asbury Park. My new go to for sure.

Nice location. Nice shops inside. Staff super friendly and accommodated a room change with generosity. Ping pong is a nice addition. My kid loved it. Pool towels and towel service was nice!

The furniture in the room could be a bit nicer, but it’s a beach hotel and sand is messy, so I get it. Parking for guests is limited. Our friend who came after 2pm couldn’t valet park. A complimentary breakfast would have been nice for the price. Pool is a little gross. It was foggy and thing floating on the surface. Also having dj in the corner entertains a handful of partying guests was a little weird.

Proximity to beach, amenities, cleanliness and friendly staff.

My car was damaged by the valet. Unfortunately, I noticed a scratch on my back driver side corner panel after I drove off and stopped at the gas station. I didn't check for damage when I left as I was distracted bt a business call. I called to report this and the supervisor couldn't be less helpful. I am extremely disappointed by this incident. I was visiting on business and planned to use your establishment again as I and my colleagues will be in town again for business. This incident spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay.

The room was comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. We had a gorgeous ocean view. The staff was incredibly friendly; they held doors for everyone, made polite conversation, and they upgraded our room for free. The location was very close to the beach & activities.

I didn't like the parking situation; it was a choice between a really expensive valet service or taking a chance with street parking. Also, the elevators were really old and rickety. Overall this hotel was too expensive for the value and next time I will probably choose a less-expensive hotel further from the beach and just take ride-shares around town.

Best option for the area, we only needed one night. All other options in the area require two night stays.

We loved the view from our room. I have a service dog and I felt safe at night walking her due to the off duty PO on guard at the front. Rooms were clean and up to date. We loved how close we were to everything including the beach/board walk.

The price was pretty expensive considering the only thing really provided to you is the room and the size of the room was a little disappointing. You have to pay to park in their lot which is $40 for cars and $60 for SUVs and if they have space available. If you don’t park there you have to park in the public lots which are metered from 9am-2am and are monitored on the regular. You have to pay extra for a refrigerator/ rental. Also I had requested a late check out which I was given (an extra hour) by the man at the front desk the night before. Maybe this woman didn’t get the memo when she started her shift, because when she called, she had a bad attitude and was extremely rude for no reason at all. The staff was nice except for her.

Location staff amenities - proper hotel you would have to be looking super hard to complain - just to complain

The pool is hard to control but in the height of the day the pool is tough super crowded no chairs available etc. would suggest to ditch the cabanas and create space for all hotel guests rather than charge for cabanas - Also gym needs towels and cleansing wipes for equipment otherwise decent gym!
