Breakfast was good, room was clean and the bathroom had dove products, room had cable. Hotel is in a prime location next to many stores and a variety of beaches only 10-15 minute drive. Could hear guests walk through the halls but did not really hear next room over. Keycard had to be activated twice since it was in our wallets next to credit cards and phones. Housekeeping comes daily so if you don’t want anyone to come in while you aren’t there, just put the “do not disturb” sign out. Otherwise had a nice stay.

Friendly staff, convenient location.

Saturday evening was noisy with children running up and down the corridor, and unfortunately there was someone smoking weed on the floor I was on, when I arrived at my floor at around 9pm there was a foggy haze, along with a very pungent smell of cannabis. I had to push a towel at the bottom of the door to stop the smell coming into my room as it was giving me a headache. However, I do appreciate that NJ allows weed smoking which is a very different situation in the UK but as this is an IHG hotel which are all non smoking hotels, it was annoying. This is not to detract from my stay which was excellent.

The Pancake machine

The person in the morning of checkout. she was a very nic person but overwhelmed with procedures. I had a personal problem, I could not get the water to turn on in the shower, it was a handicap room. I called the front desk and she said she would send the handiman to my room. 30 minutes later I called where’s the handyman? He’s on his way. 20 minutes later l got dressed and went to the lobby. This time she said she can’t find the walkie talkie to call him. I said get me a maid she would know, I gave up and went upstairs found a maid she came down and showed ho it works. I had a plane to catch at Newark airport of which I allowed myself plenty of time but waited90 minutes just for help. then I had to rush to the airport.

Motel seemed more like a 4 star! I was impressed with everything from the breakfast, pool, shower, beds. Pancakes, omletes, and bacon at the free breakfast! The entire staff were beyond friendly and accommodating. Great location to asbury park and sandy hook. Even had a keurig in the room and complimentary Dove soap products. My new go to when I stay at the shore.

Only issue and minor to me was slow bathroom sink drain.

This hotel was perfect! The entire hotel is very clean, and the room was no exception - it was spotless! The staff is so accommodating and helpful. Management does an excellent job making you feel like they have known you forever. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The morning breakfast does not disappoint. Close to many attractions and convenient to get to. I could not complain about a single thing!

the staff was exceptional. i really enjoyed the pool and the fitness room and the breakfast. the food was so delicious and fresh. the room service was also great.

i really dont have anything i didnt like. Except that my stay wasn't longer. any how i would stay again this coming year for sure. this location was quite convenient and quiet.

The staff and the location.

The handicap shower. I made a mess taking a shower. I have problems with my knees so I requested a shower the hold bars. Regular rooms don’t have them so I went for the handicap access. The shower had lots of hold bars but you have to hand hold the shower head and I lost control of it and I got water all over the bathroom and hallway floors. Never again!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. So clean. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and Complimentary water bottles were much appreciated. Clean bathrooms. The shower gel smells so good. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

The elevator was a little slow. Literally that's it!

Breakfast was very good! Breakfast area was exceptionally clean and neat as well as well attended. Room was very comfortable and clean.

Wi-Fi information could have been more accessible. Had to call front desk to obtain code. Toilet was extremely loud. Shower was difficult to get running. Had to call front desk to get instructions.

Breakfast was more than adequate and all good. Cinnamon buns are to die for. Location very convenient to all area attractions, and plenty of services nearby.

Had to pull teeth to get housekeeping for a mid-stay servicing, but once there they did a good job.
