It's a good business style hotel, ideal for the airport. They provide a free transfer service every half hour and it only takes around 10 minutes to get to the airport. We enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing time in the indoor pool. The only negative is the lack of restaurants nearby. We did walk to an old diner, which was fun.

Rooms were amazing stood on the 8th floor one night the 11 th floor the next night and both rooms were amazing… big thanks to the breakfast staff and chef for the amazing breakfast and the kindness of each one of them and big thanks to the staff from the bar that made sure me and wife had anything we needed… view was amazing definitely would come back and stay at this hotel my wife already recommended it to a couple of her clients as she a nail tech.

One of the staff I can’t remember her name she was nice and took care of me and my wife well I just didn’t like the little side comments but other than that every other staff were great…

The staff were courteous, in particular the Shuttle Bus Driver from Egypt. He gave us all the information we could possibly need for a 24-hour stay in Newark, including how to get to the City and back from the Crown Plaza Hotel. The information offered has encouraged us to consider staying longer at Crown Plaza Hotel on future trips. The beds, pillows and linens were super comfortable. We didn't want to get up in the morning.

It was a little unclear about how to get to the Crown Plaza from Terminal A, but we figured it out in the end, once we call front desk reception. Perhaps some clearer instructions and a map in the booking confirmation would be nice.

I liked everything about my stay. I love that this hotel offers free airport shuttle to and from the airport. The front desk lady Lindsey I believe that was her name she was incredible. She was there late at night when I arrived and she was there again in the morning. She seems like a very hard worker and she helped me to accommodate me because my flight did not leave until 6:00 p.m. and I had nowhere else to go so she was able to help me extend my stay for a very fair price.

I didn't like that I couldn't stay longer :-(

The front desk personnel were very professional and handled all of our needs including helping us with parking the next morning, late checkout, checking luggage, recommending a restaurant for lunch. Except for some wallpaper that was coming off the wall in the bedroom, the property was very well maintained and looked beautiful. We were very pleased and would definitely stay there again if we were flying out of EWR. We really appreciated the Keurig coffee in the room. Loved the bedding and the thick towels. Also liked the toiletries in the pump bottles in the bathroom. Staff members were very friendly even the housekeeper, Gary, who was vacuuming the hallways. Lobby was beautiful and very clean and modern - gave us a good feeling when we first entered the hotel..

We would have appreciated a restaurant that was open all day, rather than closed from breakfast til dinner except for a little cafe with limited choices.

The hotel itself was very good, clean, well maintained, good value and well air conditioned.

Airport shuttle dropped us off at a "Shuttle Dropoff", not Terminal A. We had to walk and tow our luggage for 20 min thru Terminal C, then B, then finally Terminal A. Was not impressed, but not much we could do about is as it was our first time to the Newark Airport.

This was a perfect place to crash before an early morning flight. The shuttle to the airport runs every 30 minutes and it drops you at the Air Train (factor that into your timing). The room was big enough to a final repacking of suitcases. Check in and check out where super fast. I don't think there's much food around but I think it's easy enough to order delivery.

It's not the fanciest place you'll ever stay but it was great for our airport needs.

price was great for the area. staff were all wonderful.

The hotel served the purpose of our stay, that is, a place to stay between flights. We choose it as it had a restaurant and free shuttle to and from the airport and included breakfast. The bed was wonderfully comfortable and very large. The room and decor were a little "tired" but this seems to be the norm all over the US for this level of accommodation. We ate at the restaurant and it was fine, average prices and a fair selection of meals, staff in the restaurant and bar were very nice. Breakfast was reasonable with the usual buffet choices. Shuttle worked out well, drivers very helpful and friendly and in the morning passengers were dropped at relevant terminals which was really great.

The receptionist was quite abrupt as we felt a little rushed off and she didn't want us to ask any further questions, we couldn't read her writing for the WiFi code but we managed to log on via IHG. Our room keys did not work so had to return to reception to have that fixed. We had sent an email prior to our stay to confirm if the shuttle was still running and the pick up location at the airport (as the information on Booking was 3 years old (2020) and this may have changed since Covid etc), however we never received a reply, so made our way to "P4" anyway and eventually it came, so it all worked out ok.

The staff was helpful in arranging early check-in as against the normal check-in time.

The Shuttle pick-up spot was quite some distance away from the airport terminal, and it required some effort in reaching the same. The Hotel was located on a busy road, but there was nothing around to go to, like a shopping mall or any general shops or even a grocery store. It seemed like we were trapped within the hotel premises, and it was a bit boring.
