Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Airport

The hotel is very conveniently located to EWR and would make for a great spot if you need a place to stay. Right across the street from Jersey Garden Mills outlet mall. About a 20-minute Uber/Lyft ride from MetLife Stadium. The room was spacious and the staff friendly. We had an issue with our AC unit going out and they kindly discounted one of our evenings there (we stayed three nights). Beds are comfortable.

The sofa was very worn, with holes worn into the fabric of one of the arms. We noticed ants in the entryway, but they were gone by the next day. I think there was a miscommunication with the housekeeping team. If our Do Not Disturb sign was out, they would knock on the door. When the sign was NOT out, they skipped our room for cleaning. The sofa bed was not comfortable at all and we ended up using the mattress on the floor, as that was more comfortable.

Breakfast was great. Infact I purposely stay at Embassy Suites because of the very great breakfast!

A UPS package was delivered to the hotel for me on the 31st of August. The UPS website clearly showed it was delivered and received at the hotel however the package couldn't be traced up to the time I checked out of the hotel. The hotel lobby does not have a record of delivered items as they casually tell whoever is bringing any package to drop same beside the reception. Other hotels like the Hampton Suites (opposite Embassy) maintain a register where all items are registered. Embassy should adopt same immediately. Please I still await the package and your response.

The hotel mainly serves two potential costumers- passengers/air crew who need airport hotel or tourists that want to visit the Jersey Gardens mall and stay close to it. For both it provides an excellent solution. The hotel is pretty close to Newark airport and within a walking distance from the mall. It offers a shuttle service from the airport that start running quite early in the morning. We used this service which was very helpful and easy to find. We got to the hotel and were greeted by a very welcoming staff who tried to see if we could get a room very early in the morning, offered us an available room but not what we ordered so we chose to wait. We got our room as soon it was ready and before check in time which was very appreciated. The room itself is very big for the two of us and so was the bathroom. It was clean and really had all that we needed. To be honest, I didn't expect it to be as good as it was, but its a pretty good hotel. Breakfast was very good with a variety of food to choose from, clean breakfast area, not too crowded and the dining area staff were excellent. We stayed at the hotel for two nights in order to visit the mall and it was exactly what we needed- a short 3min walk to the mall from the hotel, a clean room and a good breakfast to start the day. As I already mentioned, I didnt expect it to be such a good hotel but we had an awesome stay in a place with an excellent service that offers very good rooms and provides you with what you need when you look for a hotel in that location. Well done!

I don't have anything to mention. I would love to have the pool area running but due to the month of the year and the weather its understandable.

I loved the comfort of the bed and the room was excellent. The staff was great and attentive. Breaksfast is great. I always loved Embassy Suites

The parking spaces are very limited,I found my self spending 30 or more minutes waiting to park my car. It been very aggravated to do this every time I stay at this location. I frequently go from Ohio to New Jersey to visit my family. And I loved to stay at the Embassy Suites. But for the price I paid I should have a place to park with no aggravation. I will hate to stay at other competitors Hotel but this parking situation is making me wanted to try others. I'm a Hilton honors members. 593547481

Loved everything about my stay. My 8year old loved it. Wish the pool was functional. The lobby and cocktail area needs updating/furniture needs a change out. The Font Desk staff are absolutely wonderful. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and warm. Rooms were clean and well kept. All in all absolutely wonderful stay, recommend highly.

Really wanted the pool for the children and it was not running at the time. Free Parking would be a bonus. Regular shuttle to The Mills was not available and would have been awesome.

check out was horrible. the clerk was drinking water out of a bottle while talking to us, while we had a serious issue. I had notified the fact that I would not use my Visa card upon checkout. However the clerk did didn’t bother and used my Visa card without asking anything. This will cost me $50 in commissions and exchange rate due to this mistake of the clerk at the checkout. The supervisor could not care less when she head about the issue. Very disappointing behavior actually !

Hotel staff went above and beyond to make us welcome. Our flights were delayed, and every time I called (Mercy and Tracy) I was reassured my room would be waiting. They even sent their free airport shuttle to get us at 3 A.M. !! Our room was gorgeous, we were just so sad we didn't get to spend the time in it. Breakfast - FREE - was superb, better than a restaurant buffet. They make your eggs any way you would like. The shuttle driver to the cruise port was also very good. Everything about this hotel is first rate and super classy.

There is NOTHING that Embassy Suites needs to improve upon. I cannot praise their staff and accomodations enough.

Everything was great, the staff was great, very helpful with my service dog. It made me feel like family there. And as a veteran, i'd highly recommend this place. And a breakfast, wow.

The food there was awesome at the restaurant. When I had room service the food was awesome too. But was almost triple the cost.. Recommend to go downstairs to eat their food.

Location was near a mall so I could walk and entertain myself until the flights were back on track (it was during the major storm that hit the east coast)

Restaurant did not have any food the first night. No vegetables, no tea, no juice.

I loved the place . The suite was very spacious and Exactly what I was looking for the only issue I had was with the Spanish breakfast cook . Me and my friend came down for breakfast without a mask thinking nothing of it because we were going to eat which would require you to take it off anyway. When we attempted to tell him what we wanted he told us we needed a mask to order which is fine so we went back upstairs and got a mask and rushed back down (almost missing the time period )barely making it due to him refusing to serve us. Then Less then ten minutes later two Spanish women came to him to place a order without face masks on and with no hesitation he asked them what they wanted and served them. I found this Very disgusting that he didn’t even think twice to tell them they needed a mask but wouldn’t serve us without one and as a African American couple we found it very racist & disturbing ! Other then that my stay was great .

The breakfast chef was racist .
