Location was perfect , staff was pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful , room was nice and had a very comfortable bed...

First night of our stay after driving 14 hrs , we were put in a room directly above a construction crew that ran a jackhammer until 4am keeping us awake all night. I was to exhausted after driving to get them to change my room , so we just dealt with it, but the problem was the fact that they knew this work was being done and put us in that room not having the decency to put us as far away from it as possible. Did not try to offer any sort off compensation or discount really deplorable...

Spacious room, clean, very comfortable bed, well designed shower room with plenty of fluffy white towels. Terrific view of the Manhattan skyline a few steps from the hotel and good access to the PATH train and to the ferry as well.

Even though there was a very well equipped kitchen there were no cups/mugs provided and when we asked at the front desk for 2 they never appeared. The room overlooked where the tram/bus passed and stopped so the bell rings late at night and more annoyingly early morning. Although breakfast was meant to start at 06.30 - on our first morning nothing was available until 07.30. The second morning followed a wedding the night before, so it was clear that the staff couldn't cope with such an influx of guests.........more staff needed perhaps? Self-service breakfast buffet is rather shambolic although there is a wide variety to choose from so most tastes are catered for.

For us, this accommodation is a 10 because we have been there several times and there are good reasons for us to go back to this accommodation. One of the best reasons for us is that we have the view of the southern tip of Manhattan every morning at breakfast and in the evening when we come "home" again and every view every day every night is different and we have already photographed this view 1000 times. Sometimes we sit on the pier for hours or simply enjoy the view from our accommodation. And if we look to the right, there's the Statue of Liberty, all very close. You can't buy time, so you should enjoy it in a particularly valuable way and for us this accommodation and area is a place where we can do that particularly well. We will be back soon.

Of course there are also things that could be slowly improved now, especially after a long time and this accommodation has been around for several years. The breakfast buffet is manageable and unfortunately the daily omlets are no longer available and we could already remember cleaner tables, but the very friendly and helpful staff are happy to help spontaneously. A refresher would do the facility and floors just as well, but this fact also shows that a lot of people have already stayed at this accommodation and will certainly be happy to come back. But at some point it will perhaps become necessary sooner. Oh, and if you don't like trams, choose a room that isn't at the back of the building. Apparently, American streetcar drivers love their bell very much. You hear them all the time too.

One of the main features is the beautiful view from Exchange place, very close to the subway station of you want to go to New York, CVS pharmacy, Starbucks and restaurants nearby are a plus. I really enjoyed having a kitchenette in our room and the included breakfast is convenient.

One thing that could really improve is the sofabed mattresses. They are very uncomfortable, you can feel every spring on your back. Every guest in a room should be able to enjoy a comfortable sleep. I also think that the scrambled eggs at breakfast were a little undercooked, and I overheard some people commenting on the same, the felt very soggy.

It´s THE PLACE to stay in Jersey City. Perfectly located, fabulous rooftop and friendly service.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Within a 100m radius, there is a subway and a ferry to Manhattan. The view of Manhattan is breathtaking. The place is beautiful, peaceful, clean, and absolutely safe. Our room was very nicely and tastefully furnished. Everything was new, clean, functional, and comfortable. The option of parking in a covered parking garage across the street at a discounted price was also pleasant. The breakfast was typical hotel continental. There was plenty of food and a variety of options to choose from. I highly appreciate that the hotel had no unpleasant odors, and the towels and linens were fresh and fragrant. The hotel staff provides service at a high level. Thank you for that!

Good location in the heart of Jersey City by the Hudson river overlooking the skyline of downtown Manhattan, breakfast was good, staff was great, the train is across the street from hotel, the path station takes you to lower Manhattan and in 5 minutes you are at the center of ground zero of the twin towers, for you information this building used to be a bank and in the "lobby" is the huge safe, so the real lobby is in the terrace or 13 floor.

The hotel don't clean rooms every day like every other hotel does, you have to let them know that you want to room clean and there's is no free parking, you have to pay $25.00 a day to park in the building across the street, and lighting it was only 1 lamp on the night tables.

The location was great for getting into the city. Took us a minute to figure out that the Path trains and the metro are separate 🤣 that was on us. The view of the city across the Hudson was fantastic. Breakfast offered a lot of food and a good variety and varied day by day. The beds were comfortable, sofa bed not so much. We had essentially 4 adults and at check in they upgraded us to a room with 2 queen and a sofa which helped a lot. Staff friendly and helpful. It was clean, it's also an older hotel, some things a little worn at the edges, some things loose, places dinged, but not more than you should expect.

Sofa bed could be comfier, update the fixtures and handles a little, really that's it. It was a great experience.

The property was great! A stunning view of NYC. Check in and out was quick. The rooms were very clean and updated. The bed was comfortable. Liked that parking was nearby. It was very convenient to have food options in walking distance. With the ferry and train so close we barley heard anything. The rooftop lounge was very nice. We would definitely come back.

I asked for adjoining rooms and called to confirm and wasn’t granted that. I would have liked for the kitchen to be open at least until midnight. The breakfast was so, so.

1 stop tp the World Trade Center from which you can go pretty much anywhere. Bed comfy, view from the bar amazing. Buffet for breakfast was nice as well.

The guy who checked us in in the evening took a deposit without even tell us first (luckily I work in a hotel myself so I Imagined what was the extra charge I found on my card when I logged into my bank account). Unfortunately during our stay the fire alarm went off at night ant it was chaotic as nobody was telling us what was happening,.
