Holland Hotel Free Parking Jersey City

Loved the breakfast. The coconut donuts were amazing! Excellent location. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was hot and the air con unit very noisy. There was a bathtub but can only use the shower.

This was a great deal for the money and the ease of getting into NYC! The hotel is older and has a more traditional vibe going but instead of outdated, it looked classic and well-maintained. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and it's a 10 minute walk to the NJ PATH station to get into NYC. It's a great value, especially with free parking, which alleviates stress with driving in NYC. I'd stay there again.

This didn't bother me at all and it's not the fault of the hotel - but it's in a high traffic area (right by the Holland tunnel to NYC) with construction out front. Despite that, the hotel room was quiet and comfortable and let's be realistic: it's right next to one of the biggest US cities so one can't expect it to be in the middle of the forest.

Breakfast was more like a morning snack. Is just juice, water, coffee and pastries. I like that they have yogurt, bananas and apples. Buy don’t have any protein. It’s better this to have nothing, but I think they might say is a very light breakfast. Location is great! Everything was in order. Sometimes I heard the cars and trucks at night but I knew it was the closeness to the tunnel. Always felt safe, grocery store, fast food and gasoline places nearby. The room was perfect. Great size, amazing bed. Microwave, refrigerator, Tv, nice bathroom and very clean! Provide enough towels and paper. Also soap and shampoo. Nice detail! Lights outside everywhere, and parking. Will stay here again!

The noise at night of the cars but this don’t have to be with the hotel.

I totally messed up and only booked 2 nights instead of 3 and left for the day! They carefully packed away all of our items and locked them away securely, until we returned. Then gave me a from at a great deal! Very grateful! Location was fab, so easy to drive to from Canada and park up the car. Train into Manhattan was regular and so cheap $2.75! Will definitely return here! thanks again!

The location was great as it is right next to the entrance of the Holland tunnel. The PATH train station is not far away so this pretty great mobility wise. The rooms are nice and a bit small (I guess that is all of NYC). Free parking was probably the biggest money saver for us!

Holland Hotel is in a busy area but again all of NYC is like that. We came with our car so while convenient, sometimes we would get stuck in traffic.

If you are visiting NYC as a tourist, and especially if you are driving, I highly recommend this hotel. There is ample free parking, the parking lot is safe, and the hotel is clean. WiFi works fine. The staff is extremely helpful, and they were able to answer all our questions. The best aspect of the hotel was the location - it was a 15-minute walk to the PATH station, and about 20 minute walk to the Newport seaside park, where you will have magnificent views of both upper and lower Manhattan, which you cannot see from inside NYC. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations.

The breakfast was weak, but we didn't go "hungry" per se. It was what it was for the price.

Room was very clean and updated. Lots of room and great view towards Hoboken up the Hudson river and we actually caught fireworks from our room of some Italian festival. 15 min walk to the boardwalk which is close to the subway. About 25 mins walk to the Hoboken Ferry terminal if you want to take a ride to Manhattan. Free parking which is great. Huge mall right across the street. Nice easy drive to the Bayonne Cruise terminal. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Nice seating area outside!

Not many options for breakfast but hey I'm going on a cruise and will get all my food there! What was there did taste good!

Breakfast was great for whom like pastries. Room size is good for a family with 2 kids. Steven at the reception was exceptional in helping us to call restaurants for delivery at the hotel in late evening. Price is fair.

The distance from Manhattan can be demanding when you have kids: at the end of the day, the Path train (about 20 mins from 33rd to Newport) is quite boring and they often fell asleep, so it was tough to ask them to make the final 10 mins walk from Newport station to the hotel. There seems to be some confusion with the room cleaning: you need to ask it, and sometimes they forget

The room was good, the location fine for visiting NYC. The breakfast was fine, if not overwhelming.

I did have one issue. I had a problem with something and talked to the manager and actually showed the manager the issue in my room. They said I should tell the front desk person when I was leaving so they could have someone come up and look at it. I said I was leaving shortly for the day, but they still said I should alert the desk. Well, there was no one at the desk when I left so I couldn't. When I returned they told me since I hadn't told anyone at the desk it wasn't looked at. The manager knew of the issue and saw it firsthand. It is not proper to put the onus for having this looked at on the guest. You knew of the issue. You saw it. Handle it, like a manager should.

Holland Hotel is suitably located if you are visiting NJ or NY. The check-in was smooth, rooms were comfortable, well serviced, breakfast was ideal and coffee was unlimited. Most important, the car parking was inclusive and free. The late night food service is adjoining the property and Macdonalds is in walkable distance. If you like to sit and dine/wine, it's just 450 mtrs in walkable distance. Subway train station is approx 600-900mtrs walking distance. Overall, this is an ideal property unless you wish to burn extra dollars for branded star properties. Every dollar spent here in worth more and you feel a return on spending done. Additionally, I wish to Applaud there hospitality as we checked out and continued our trip to another city and returned the next day before heading back to Canada where we decided to see the NYC again by evening. With a request although we already checked out, the front desk lady permitted us to park our car as complimentary for 5 hours which was sufficient for us. I would like to thank you for this and this one gesture will bring us back to Holland hotel everytime we plan a tour here.

Although we were not aware that there is no elevator here but for a 2 storey, evaluator is not required. So it was fine for us.
