What a surprise! We are road-tripping and ended up in the Rolling Hills Motel in NJ. We could not have ask for anything better. We had a King Room and we expected the usual under-value run-down motel room. BUT Rolling Hills Motel was AWESOME: the room felt like a home away from home with nicely smelling towels, a nice variety of shampoo, soap, conditioner, and even lotion, a really comfortable bed with nice linen and a pretty duvet. There was a table and two chairs with seat cusion, a TV with Netflix, two pot plants (which made it really homey). Nicki welcomed us with a warmth you do rarely get to experience when staying in motels. Everything was spotlessly clean. Please, please, please keep up the good work; and please guests, appreciate the work Nicki and her team are putting into their motel. It is a real gem among all those motels in the USA (and we have travelled a LOT!).

All exceeded our expectations!

Large room, sufficiently clean (not perfect, but sufficient), little things like shower gel, shampoo etc. and fluffy towels, comfortable bed, nice receptionist. Very good value for money.

The shower is hard to regulate, there was loud talking and partying in the upstairs room until late at night, the window in the room could not be opened because someone was smoking weed right in front of it. I have nothing against weed, but it doesn't have to be in my bedroom. I also found it irritating that there was no possibility to make a coffee in the morning.

The staff were very friendly and kind. Their location well water unfortunately had an e.coli contamination but they gave us as many bottles of water as we needed.

One of the outlets in the room didn't work and a dimmer lighting option would have been nice. I was not happy about the credit card fee that's added to your bill. It's posted at their front desk but it's not stated anywhere online, so my total was a bit more than I expected. It should be posted in the description or included in their price. Surprising guests upon arrival isn't really great.

The bed was very comfortable except that it was broke I looked underneath and the frame was not together I didn't go to the office or complain

I didn't like how unsanitary the room was black mold in the bathroom urine under the toilet the walls of the bathroom tub need to be sanitized the floors need a deep cleaning they need to be steamed microwave was dirty refrigerator was so so there's a lot of work to be done there they have residents living there and those residents are very loud the outside door needs a door stop on the bottom one of the residents that lives there has a diesel and he starts it up in the morning and the fumes came right into my room and I had a headache for the whole day

Niki was very friendly and went above what is expected from a Motel. There is no ice machine but she made sure I had ice. The room was clean and comfortable. The property is kept nice and clean. There is plenty of parking for guests. We only stayed one night but would have enjoyed a longer stay. Will definitely stay here again when we are in the area. Great place to stay!

The room itself had a lot of space to move around in, so you didn't have to worry about being cramped. Also, the bed itself was comfy and I had no problem getting to sleep. As a bonus, there was a ROKU Smart TV in case if you wanted to watch some of you favorite programing (if you don't like watching cable TV). It also had a HDMI cable connected to it in case if you wanted to connect your laptop to the TV.

The only thing I found weird about the room was the sink was located outside of the bathroom from the shower and the toilet (just something I wasn't used to). Also, just as a heads up, if you need shampoo, soap and conditioner, you have to let the front desk know first.

Nice down home feel. It had refrigerator microwave and coffee maker. Nicer than expected for a small family run/owned motel. The place felt secure. They did allow our dog to stay. We stayed here being close to High Point NJ Park

We hoped to be on the first floor but was on the second.

Great communication with owner for check-in/check-out Quaint older Motel but with all the "newest" amenities. Clean bed, large fridge, great TV & streaming. Extremely convenient to Sussex County area

Met two staff members and they are nice and friendly. The room Microwave, small fridge, Roku TV.

No Hot Drinks, No Ice Machine, No concessions. No Continental Brekfast. There are food stores and Dunkin close by if you need anything.

loved the refurbished room. It was beautiful. The blankets were, as my 8 yr old says, soooooooo soft and comfortable.

There were no supplies for the kitchen, ie forks, spoons, plates, cups. There was also a coffee maker but nothing to use it for.
