Myer Country Motel

Really didn't expect what we drove into....but Myer Country Motel is precisely what it says it is . It consists of several home units, like old fashioned motels people used to take their families to in the country to spend a weekend swimming, biking, hiking...it has a big green in the middle of the collection of little cabins which are homey- decor, furniture, old style bed spreads like People in their 50s/70s would remember from their childhood. TV, refrigerator, coffee maker & microwave -all things that most motels have,but these little 'cabins" +very nice. The lady who greeted us was very personable & was enjoying teaching her son some of the 'arts of hospitality - our stay was very pleasant

Bed was a little soft and could of used a few more pillows.

Miss Micah was so nice! She checked us in with the warmth of a friend, and she checked on us the following day as she walked to grounds to ensure all was well with her guests and with her cleaning staff. She was amazing! The cabins are soooo cute! The beds were comfy, the room was very clean and well-appointed. The area was right off the highway, but the actual motel is set back far enough that it doesn't feel like you're sleeping in the ditch. I had the AC running, I'm not sure of the noise without it, but, while outside, it wasn't anything that I noticed; with it running, I didn't hear a scrap of road or outside noise, and I was staying in the building second-closet to the entrance/highway.

The only issue I encountered was the deadbolt didn't lock, as it didn't seem to line up quite right. I only stayed one night, otherwise I would have mentioned it to Miss Micah.

This place is not really a motel, but a series of small cabanas. Each with two units side-by-side with a private parking spot. The room is very large with the seating area and stuffed furniture’s. It was clean and well appointed, cozy, and a bit old Timey in design, but clearly recently Appointed I like the set up and would definitely go back. Because it’s very private and quiet. I would have liked a small microwave. But there is a mini fridge and a coffee maker. Breakfast is not included

I was lucky enough to find the motel a few years ago and I stay there every year on my way to a retreat in New England. A perfectly preserved piece of Americans, the cabins are perfect, completely updated regarding facilities and far enough from the road you can sit on the porch and not be bothered! Close proximity to the Milford Diner (highly recommended!) is a plus

Quiet, free-standing units. Porch with chairs and table. Non-smoking. Complimentary coffee. Vintage exterior with clean and modern interior. Firm, comfortable mattress. Luggage bench. Hot shower with good pressure. Flatscreen cable TV. Free WiFi. Built-in USB charger ports. Friendly staff.

Smoker on the porch next door. Address difficult to locate via GPS. Telephone # not included in Booking/Priceline web info.

I liked the location, however the phone wasn't available in the room. I was unable to use my cell phone because Spectrum isn't readily avialable in your area. Your traveling visitors need to be aware of these inconveniences. Also, your Motel might want to band together with the other motel/hotels in the area regarding this issue to complain to the powers that be.

Located in the beautiful town of Milford PA, the Myer Country Motel is a set of cabins off Rt 6 that have porches opening onto a shared lawn. We stayed in Cabin 1 which had two parking spaces, a comfortable queen size bed, nice tiled bath, though the shower might be too small for some, coffee, small frig., and very clean. Loved the dark, old pine wainscoting, and nice paint job. Perfect for a couple. The price was perfect for the facilities.

Really nothing. It was just what we needed and we will try to stay here again on frequent trips to visit family in western PA.

There is no breakfast! What i like most is each cottage stands alone, has a small front porch and a special Parking spot alongside the cottage for one’s car. Quiet, peaceful spot with a caring person at the front desk to answer questions and make suggestions. Rooms are clean and neat. Not fancy, but memorable nonetheless. Great job!

More comfortable couch.

What wasn't there to love? It was clean! The property is very well maintained. The staff is super friendly. The place has a small cottage home feel. The front grass was perfect for my grandchildren to run and play through. Bugs were at a minimum. Fridge in the room worked well. There is 1 central microwave for all guests to use, located by the vending machines. The location is within minutes to all eateries and Walmart. They have table outside to enjoy dinner, lunch, or breakfast. Chairs on the patio with a small table. I mean, I was HOME! Thank you so much for making this experience wonderful! We'll be visiting again, for sure!

Staff was super super friendly and helpful. They answered to our messages straight away and they even waited us until our arrival for later check-in. Room was big and bed was comfortable. Shower worked good and there was hot water. This was all we needed for our one night stay :)
