Quaint, old Victorian home that has been restored beautifully with lots of nice touches. We had the “Barbara” room on the 2nd floor. We had to climb stairs to get to the 2nd floor but that wasn’t a problem for us. It had a sink in it, but we shared the bathroom with other guests (Which we didn’t mind). There are other rooms that have their own bathrooms that you don’t have to share if that’s a concern. There is also a room on the first floor if stairs are an issue. The backyard was very nice, with tables and chairs if one would like to sit outside. The breakfast was a home cooked meal and was very good. The hosts are very accommodating to dietary needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My first experience should be like this staying in a B&B. It was incredible. It was a Victorian home with all original furnishings, and at least five different bedrooms with people that you could socialize with in the common area downstairs. There was coffee and tea and all the amenities that you could possibly need while traveling… With the exception of laundry and kitchen. If you look for really Qwaint places to stay, this is the one..

There was absolutely nothing to dislike… Except mosquitoes, but that has nothing to do with property.

It was in a town we had to drive through. Unfortunately we arrived late & had to leave before breakfast so I can’t say anything either way but I would come back. The house was definitely very cool! Would have loved to breakfast with other guests and say outside and draw on the sidewalk with chalk that was available! Driving in we saw deer grazing on front yards…

I was not able to connect wifi but not a big deal only wanted to download movies for my granddaughter…

Location was great. Very near the downtown area, where we like to eat and drink. Very fun decor. Loved the old record player and the stack of records of all types for us to enjoy. I even used the piano for practicing!

The roll-away bed in the downstairs bedroom was a bit dangerous. I badly stubbed my toe on it while getting to the bathroom. Wish I could have used the electric skateboards, but they were locked up and no staff available for us to ask.

It was very cute and comfortable. We were able to walk to downtown Raton. The hosts were super friendly. Breakfast was delicious. We met some other wonderful travelers. There was a nice porch to sit on and enjoy the nice weather. The room was comfortable and spacious. The shower had good pressure.

I wish our room locked while we were out exploring, just for an added feeling of security since it seemed to be full and people were exploring the house.

We loved the well cared for property,inside and out. Lovely period furnishings-creaky floors and all, but with all the modern conveniences at your disposal. Appreciated the considerate extra touches-fresh popcorn in the popcorn machine and coffee and tea upon arriving. Slept great in a comfy, warm room and woke up to enjoy delicious, hearty breakfast with fellow guests at a beautifully set table. We'll be back.

The breakfast was very good. The room was comfortable. Barbara had a little dog and my 2 dogs got along very well with her. After sitting in a car all day, it was great to allow them to run and play in the beautiful back yard. We enjoyed the other couple who stayed. Barbara is very knowledgeable about many things and we had great conversations with everyone.

We have no complaints. The food was good and everything was great. This is not really a "complaint", but my husband is tall and a queen bed would have been nice, but the bed was very comfortable. The rooms were nicely decorated and I don't think a queen bed would have fit well into the room, so I understand why it was a standard bed.

Super cute rooms, kind staff. She has some things out for us for breakfast since we had to miss the meal. Everything you could need! The country room has a little kitchen in it and a bathroom in room which is lovely. Short walk to bars and restaurants. Will stay here again on future work trips.

Wish breakfast was earlier but that's just a personal preference.

The recently new owners of this B&B were very nice and we enjoyed the visit. We enjoyed our room which was decorated very nice along with the entire home. The owners fixed us a delicious breakfast and we enjoyed talking with them during our meal. On our entire 2 week vacation, this was our favorite place to stay. Highly recommend this B&B!

Everything was wonderful!

The location, the house, the host and the food were all excellent. The location's closeness to downtown was perfect for being on foot from the train. I enjoyed the friendliness of the home and its host, but I also enjoyed being left to explore the downtown on my own. And the price was perfect.

Hard to think of much that could have been better. The Dish TV network only had a few channels, not that it really matters - I wasn't there to watch TV. If that's the biggest issue, you've got a great place to stay and rest for a weary traveler.
