Loved the location and the put out a very nice breakfast spread- decent coffee, fresh cooked eggs, oatmeal. Loved the shuttle to the Plaza area every day. The drivers were very nice. The property had a lot of nice sitting areas.

Our room smelled like wet dogs and was pretty small for 4 people. We love animals but don’t travel with them. Perhaps offer a room here and there that doesn’t allow a pet in it. But overall we really enjoyed staying at the Sage.

the location and price

no elevator for second floor rooms. we had to get two rooms for our party of four because the only available first floor room had only one bed and I cannot climb stairs!! this should have been mentioned on the website!!

The location of the Sage is perfect for exploring downtown Santa Fe and a quick drive/ride to other parts of the city. The staff at the Sage are very friendly and helpful. Happy hour at the hotel bar was very enjoyable with music most nights. The room was comfortable, safe and furnished as expected. Breakfast was pretty standard fare, but well prepared and available for a good time-frame. The free shuttle to the plaza was convenient and easy to utilize.

Wi-fi was a bit spotty and slow in the room I stayed in (D building). Internet is a bit spotty in Santa Fe in general, but seemed like at the hotel it was better closer to the main lobby building. If hi-speed, reliable internet is a must have, you might ask them if there are buildings that have better connectivity than others (because they are closer to the router or something).

Clean, Comfortable pet friendly with friendly customer service focused staff . Extremely accommodating ! tasty breakfast with options. restaurant , the Social also tasty food ! awesome location. affordable

Nothing really . It is an older hotel but they have done an amazing job updating . We stayed in a first floor room. Occasionally we could hear the folks upstairs . Nothing that kept us up all night. Rooms are average size - but they have the furniture well placed to maximize space . Three of us stayed in double room 4 days and it was fine . Need some grass for dogs to go potty.

The staff was phenomenal - James checked us in and was so friendly and helpful and even called our room a couple minutes after we were settled in to make sure everything was to our liking and asked if he could do anything for us - very nice touch! Also loved that we happened to be staying the night that they hosted karaoke in the lobby/dining/patio area! So fun and we got to meet other travelers and chat over drinks! Also only a short uber ride away from the little downtown area too, so pretty central location! The continental breakfast was better than I expected too - biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, toppings bar, muffins, fruit, cereal - all the fixings!

Amazing great little spot for a quick stop inexpensive but still good you think $80 to $100 Hotel oh God but no it's great good location sometimes I need to just get out of the house and my friend and I go for the day or for the night you can walk to restaurants it's awesome we go a lot when we can when I'm feeling okay it's good to get out you know if you can't afford it this is a great Hotel because people should be out and about and enjoy life at the same time even though they're disabled or sick so thank you for establishing a great hotel with a great price for us

Nothing mom they could have coffee hour before they serve breakfast that happened once where I tried to get coffee but they weren't serving breakfast yet and it was like 10 minutes before and we had to go cuz we had to catch a flight but I think the coffee hours should be public maybe start at 6:30 people do get up early and just have it in the in the lounge that's the only thing

Everything went well from the booking of the room only a few hours before check in to the actual check in. simple and quick. the patio bar( Social Hour) was relaxing and fun along with the good food. Breakfast was a true breakfast , (not only donuts and coffee)that we both enjoyed. Chef Jason kept everyone happy and provided everything that the patrons needed and asked for. This will now be our go to hotel when ever we are in Santa Fe. Trying for An August arrival.

The ice machine in our building was not working so we needed to go to one of the other buildings and or the Kitchen to get ice. which was only a slight inconvenience. The only thing that could have made it better was to have another couple of days to stay at the Sage.

it’s a nice property. Breakfast is really good, I think they should add fresh fruit but , so great to have each morning . I think it’s nice that all staff can have free breakfast. . The washer and drier are conveniently located by the pool - very tricky credit card payment machine- drier close to door doesn’t dry clothes well. Shuttle service is very convenient . This hotel is close to Rail yard, gas station , art stores and close to Whole Foods.

Having to change rooms because of plumbing issues , small opening under door that lets leaves and dirt inside . I think they should hire more housekeeping- it looked like only 3-4 were working - I felt sorry for them . also security cameras - it did not appear that they were all operating at night .

The TV didn’t work. We didn’t like the restaurant food, it wasn’t very good.

I was concerned first concerned from other reviews. Breakfast was great for US standard. In the evening you could sit outside, having some drinks and food.

charging an additional Resort Fee. I had no possibility to turn off/on lights at the bed
