The place was so much better than expected, the reviews are quite low compared to how good it actually was once we got there. It was a great value for money and the breakfast was really good. The staff was amazing, extremely friendly and super helpful. The hotel is located exactly where the bus stop to get to the city centre is, and it only takes 15-20 minutes to get into the heart of Albany.

The place could improve on its cleanliness, it wasn't dirty in any way, but it could be so much better if more attention to small details was spared. The lights in the room were a bit dim, once night time came, it was quite hard to read.

Clean and comfortable enviornment. Friendly Staff. Easy to access NY State Thruway/other state roads in the area. Coffee and light breakfast was ready at 6am and much appreciated! Would recommend this hotel for a one or two night stop over if traveling from Massachesetts (Mass Pike) through to NY State (Albany) and connections thereof.

Not pleased with the noise outside and inside (guests in room next door). Walls between rooms are thin and "talk". Guests in the room adjacent to mine were boisterous --talking/laughing/shouting loudly---could hear over the TV... They finally shut up by 11:30pm so that I could finally get some much needed sleep from Traveling all day.

Breakfast was good. The coffee was ok. The beds were quite comfy and the bathroom had all we needed plus a hair dryer which was nice. No weird smell in the room. Easy access to the parking even if we were on the second floor

The coffee cups were a hazard because the lid wouldn't attach properly ever. Saw someone burn his hands and it almost happened to me and my friend too. would have liked it if there were some fruits choice.

The room was huge. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom had everything you need.

The corridors and stairs were not very clean. The outside door lock was damaged and lacked maintenence. The whole experience leading from the parking area to the room was a bit grotty. I overheard someone complaining to the desk clerk about poor WiFi reception and he appeared to be brushed off as a bit of a nuisance. I popped down to get something from the car while my wife was in the room, and it was lucky I took the card key with me. When I returned, the external door was locked because it was past a decent hour. This is a good security feature but there was no warning about it, and the lock in which you swipe the key was half broken. No attention of maintenence detail.

This is a basic cheap motel that has very friendly helpful staff, comfortable beds, easy wifi, fridge, microwave, food delivery to your door, adjustable heat/air con, and it's totally accessible, not even one step. They let me have late checkout, and they let me sit in reception waiting for my friend to arrive and were nice.

It was cold when I got there and I had to put the heat on. The office chair at the desk had a wobbly back. Otherwise it was all good, and the heat came on well.

-only 4 1/2 lights in room, including bathroom -very strong scent of maybe cleaning products? Everytime I walked in -actual dirty floor in shower -smelled heavily of vomit near the desk area -no channel guide?

There were several bad reviews, so I was hesitant to stay there. The front desk was friendly and welcoming.. over all we had a clean room. Clean sheets. Bathroom was clean. Shower water stayed hot. We only stayed one night. So it was good for our purpose.

It's definitely an older property and could be updated. But it was very good and definitely served it's purpose. Mattress was very soft... But I DID NOT wake up with a back ache, I expected to be in pain in the morning..

The check-in was easy and the man running the desk was friendly and helpful. They offered enough choices at breakfast to get a quick meal before heading out. Included toast, bagels, muffins, juice, milk, coffee.

It would be nice if breakfast offered more selection, including some fruit and some sort of protein option (even cold hard boiled eggs).

You get what you pay for. The rooms have microwaves and refrigerators, the AC worked, one ice machine in the building was working, cards worked, very convenient location, Also, there's a really great sushi/boba/chinese restaurant in the same building.

The walls are very thin, the halls definitely have some "interesting" looking guests who don't look thrilled to see you, Breakfast is toast and coffee, no yogurt or fruit. Final price ended up $50 higher tahn advertised.

Clean, comfortable, spacious and well located for our visit to our son. Staff friendly, helpful and responsive. Much less expensive than the downtown Albany motels.

Sub par breakfast - low quality bagels and a toaster and that is it. No fruit, no cereal and milk, no hardboiled eggs, no waffle maker which kids love. We don’t expect hot trays with scrambled eggs, sausage and potatoes, but a little more variety of heathy food would be good.
