Bonnie Castle Resort & Marina

I loved the location. The hotel showed signs of wear, but it was comfortable. The restaurant was great, the view extraordinary. Beds were comfortable. Close to the boat tours. Staff was friendly and accomodating.

No elevator and no indoor stairs No free breakfast No access to room from hallway, and the sign saying this was on the wrong door Fan was noisy Bathroom light a bit too dim

The room was on the river with a great view of Boldt Castle. It was within walking distance of the centre of town. The room was a good size and very clean. There was a small balcony. There was a continental breakfast available.

Some of the furnishings could have been updated. They were somewhat worn. The hotel had more of a concrete motel feel. There are no elevators, only a stairs. As we were out of season, there was no bar or restaurant on site, but the closest restaurant was at the next property, closing at 9pm.

Jacuzzi tub. Need and linen were comfortable. Room was clean. Restaurant was good. Pool and hot tub was nice.

No elevator. Weird set up with different buildings for rooms. Have to go outside to get to pool room. Have to go outside for restaurant. Having the boats parked in the roadway was confusing and wondered if we were going the correct way. Those boats should be moved. They're parked on the actual road.

The view of Bodt Castle was amazing, especially during the sunset. The pool and hot tub were clean. The food was okay. Very short walk from a lot of shops and restaurants.

It was a little inconvenient not having a microwave in the room, and the coffee machine was pretty lacking. The TV was pretty small for a king room, and I was unable to hook up a streaming device to it.

The location is fantastic. We had a Pool side room. The large gorgeous deck was 15 feet away. The view from the deck is directly across from boldt castle. We stayed during the off-season and we practically had the whole resort to ourselves. The local bars and restaurants were great.

The bar/restaurant on the resort was pretty undesirable. The local establishments more than made up for it.

Everything was great. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! I slept great there! 2 on site bars! Indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub inside! The a/c and refrigerator were already on in our room. I’ve been to hotels that did not do that. Our room for 1 night with reservations made the day before was around $250 AFTER taxes. At first I thought it was a lot. But we had a great night and a great nights sleep, on TOP of the 2 FANTASTIC bars/restaurants right on site! Beautiful views from our door! With a little balcony and chairs! Also, they still give you an ACTUAL KEY!!! Which I LOVE!! My husband and I agree we would go there again!

Great spot to enjoy some off-season sunshine along the St Lawrence. Kimberley the manager was very helpful, lent us her prized corkscrew and even bought us a beer when we bumped into her at a bar in town later in the evening. Lovely little town, although I can imagine it gets a lot busier and more expensive in the summer. Definitely great for a peaceful sunny Autumn weekend.

Everything was great. The shower was a wee bit small for me, at 6'5, but having a whirpool bath in the room more than made up for it

We had an apartment for the weekend and it was so so so worth the upgrade. Very spacious, nice, and several areas to sit.

The view from our room was spectacular! Beautiful view of Boldt castle and a little light house! We had dinner at the restaurant on site and the food was great. We were given plenty of towels for our stay so we didn't have to ask for more or reuse towels. There was an extra small sink in the room which was nice...and having a mini fridge was great! The staff was pleasant and very helpful and informative. There was an ice machine right near our room as well as vending machines, which was convenient.

The room appeared very clean upon entering. However, after just a few minutes in the room we started noticing all the dirt build up on the walls and baseboards, it looked like something exploded and didn't get cleaned up properly. The space between the shower and jacuzzi tub was filthy. We had ants in the bathroom every morning. There was something that looked like blood on the lampshade. And the bed wasn't very comfortable.

Lots of space in the apartment. Easy access to town. Clean and funky. Whenever we asked for something - towels, coffee cups, pillows, etc. - we got them in a timely manor.

If the Manor Restaurant is part of this review - horrible service there! We left without ever getting our main course after 2 hours! It’s a story ……. Otherwise, the hotel part was fun.
