SpringHill Suites by Marriott Syracuse Carrier Circle

As of 7/1/2023, this hotel is undergoing renovations. Although clean, carpets and tile flooring were torn up in many places. The stairwell trim is a mess from new carpet being installed. Glad to see Marriott is updating many of their hotels. Wasn't fond of the location. Highlights: Your typical Marriott hotel. Comfortable bed, suite is separate, clean surroundings in room, updated baths, typical breakfast. We love Marriott and seek them out as we're members, though I did see a sign where it says this hotel isn't owned by Marriott. Obviously though, Marriott is doing the renos. Not sure how that works.

I was on the top (4th) floor with a clear view of the parking lot. I was able to play music from my phone loud enough to enjoy lateninto the night without complaints from neighboring rooms. I liked the floor plan and how it separated the different areas of the room making it feel larger in my opinion.

The door had the thumb-turn knob but no actual deadbolt to securely lock the door. Later in the night the front main entrance is the only way you can get back into the building. The view from my window was of the back parking lot so that’s where I parked my car. It was cold and im a smoker so if I wanted to sit in my car I’d have to walk all the way around to the front to get back in. I was on the top floor and there was enough noise coming from above, sounding very close, to make me feel a little uncomfortable but not enough to bring it to the front desks attention.

So nice.. it was a great space. The front desk was so nice the man that worked there works a lot of hours and was very helpful kind sweet. The people attending to the breakfast or on top of it. Very nice crew great stay

That there is a plastic toilet lid instead of porcelain and no fan in the bathroom

Breakfast was good would of liked some toast The staff was great we got a snow storm and they provided us with hot chocolate Would of liked more garbage bags or larger size. Other than that it was a great stay with a great staff. From the time we checked in to the time we left . My top five.

Coffee was bitter ,no vent in the bathroom

It was quiet, clean and the staff was friendly.

For the price a continental breakfast would have been nice.... at least some coffee.

Basically every bit! Part of the reason we picked this hotel was for the pool for our kids. When we got there, the pool was closed for repair. Once they saw the disappointment on our kids faces, they were SO quick to offer a solution. This hotel went above and beyond.

Excellent staff! I would book here again due to their friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism. Excellent customer relations from Anthony and the very nice receptionist at check-in (at 2:00 pm) on 9/30/22.

property and Staff were great. just a problem with the hot water on check out day…. Wasn’t heating up. But it was fixed…. Very Pleasant stay

I Liked everything about this property

The location of this hotel is just enough off the beaten path to be quiet but close enough to restaurants. Staff was very friendly and everything appeared to be cleaned well.

Obviously, with COVID, breakfast is done differently but I wish they followed what others were doing by providing a bag/box and allowing guests to pick the pre-packaged items they want to put in their breakfast bag/box. When we stayed, they had a bag already packaged to take for breakfast.

The location was great and we have stayed in hotels in that area before so it was familiar to us. The staff were great and personable too!

The breakfast could have been better - perhaps offer more hot food choices.
