Location is just perfect for my requirements - location being in the UN Plaza, its very secured, quiet since there are no tourist attraction around though at midtown and not so far away from shopping , broadway etc. I also discovered great restaurants around the block …..Perfect location and will definitely stay again once back in NYC. Thanks to all the friendly staff especially Frank at the bell stand 👏😊

No restaurant open for lunch - restaurant is only open for breakfast and dinner. No concierge as well and room amenities could have been better …normally 5 star hotel will provide at least bottled water for free , slippers etc… this hotel has none so be prepared to bring your toothbrush and tooth paste. They only provide plastic glass which is annoying!!!!

lack of kettle in the room was difficult for making tea. We had to run water through the coffee machine to get hot water. would benefit from milk portions as only had powdered milk. Location ideal for UN but a little far from main tourist area - pros and cons there but plan for extra tube or taxi journeys.

room size was good, clean and regular cleaning everyday view was fantastic! - lucky to have the view of the river with the bridge and beautiful sunrise!!! location was great - super near the UN building, near restaurants and shops staff were courteous and helpful

- the lobby area would have been better if it was bigger; when delegations to a meeting at the UN arrived, the lobby was full-packed and noisy; elevators were also fully packed and takes a long time to wait - the shower curtain (plastic) should be changed as it is already emitting an odor (but the toilet/bath area is clean)

we had a king bed with city view, and this was worth it! The shower was one of the best we had while in the US. location is great and everything is easily accessible.

the checkin staff was mostly silent, from taking my passport to having our room keys, almost not a word was exchanged. Beside their offer for free credits, which we didn't use at all. This give a really bad customer experience to me, as you're waiting in silent not knowing what's going on. also, the reception staff wasn't able to give me basic information (breakfast price, hours of operations...) the price is overly hyped as well, bowel come to NYC!

The staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely room however it felt a little tired decor wise, we had a lovely view across to long island. It was a good location for grand Central station, 5th, and it was easy to walk to Broadway, Times Square and Central Park.

The Room heating controls were difficult to use and the first night we were cold in bed however the lounge area was warm. We asked for extra bedding the next day which was quickly dealt with but this could have been kept in the room for ease.

Really astonishing awesome view, good location. We had a corner room to Southeast, and we have seen the Sunrise over Queens and the East River, Roosevelt Island, also Williamsburg Bridge, Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, 1 WTC and all along the 1st Avenue a part of Brooklyn Bridge. And of course, United Nations. Everyone is really kind! Luggage keeping on the day of check in and check out is free. 10 min walk to Grand Central, the next subway station.

I am from Germany, and I booked "breakfast included". This means for us in Germany, that breakfast is completely without any extra charge. At our first day, I asked if that this is correct, and every one at the reception and the restaurant agreed. At the fifth morning (!) someone told me that only 60 Dollars of the breakfast bill are included (for 2 persons). Because of taxes and service charge, only food is within these 60 Dollars. So you have to pay for every coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate and so on you order. You find this rule nowhere, not on Booking.com, nor on the official hotel website. And no one told us on the first day. Free WiFi is not included in hotel room, and 15 Dollars per day is really expensive, even for New York.

Booked a skyline view room and the view was amazing.... so good that we preferred the view from our room than the observation decks! Beds were super comfy, much needed after so much walking! Bathroom was lovely, shower was overhead waterfall and loved it! Massive TV in room! And nice coffee machine! The housekeeping staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful and always left the room spotless!

One receptionist who checked us in was rude and lacked any customer service skills. She was so rude I didn't want to stay! And throughout our stay, her demeanour remained the same so I'm not sure if this was personal towards myself and daughter or hiw she is with all guests. However, the other staff were the total opposite and were so friendly and kind! She just let's this hotel down! The room was comfy but could do with a little tlc... the carpets are tired and the rooms a little run down but the shower, beds and views won me over so much thay nothing else mattered. The hotel is a little far away from most things so every day starts and ends with a bit of a trick, but on the upside it's quiet! And the walk to anywhere is always nice!

The view was spectacular! Room was large and clean. This was my second stay at the Millennium Hilton at UN Plaza and did not disappoint. Brought family members on this trip and they were also extremely pleased. Having security outside the building made us feel even more comfortable. The bed and pillows were luxurious. The entire staff was exceptional from the minute we arrived until the minute we departed. Always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

One of the front desk clerks was rude. Apparently water is only provided for guest based on a tier system. I asked for water and she said she would give me one but it would be the last time. First, I did not know of such a policy. Second, no need to speak to me as though i was not a guest, paying more than $2,000 for my stay. Management addressed the issue; however, it should have never occurred.

The view was incredible from our room and the staff were very helpful.

We contacted the hotel in advance of our stay to try and make special arrangements to celebrate a birthday. This request was not actioned.
