great location super close to subway station with lots of options for subways to get you all over Manhattan and Brooklyn/queens. fantastic friendly helpful staff. beds really comfy. room was clean. breakfast was great, with good selection, bagels, bread, pastries, waffles, cereals and hot options. coffee and water dispenser available all day for free. room was plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 children

rooms a little dated however this does not affect the stay. just don’t expect a fancy hotel for budget money. bathroom quite small but again doesn’t really affect stay, enough space to do what you need. only complaint would be wardrobe is quite small for 4 people, we just kept everything in suitcases and lived out of them for the stay. breakfast room can get very busy however we are at 7am every day and had no issues getting a table

If you're okay with a small room and small bathroom, the room is fine. It's not fancy, and I can think of any number of people who wouldn't like it. We are good with spartan accommodations if the price is right and the location is good, so we will continue staying there.

This hotel is within short walking distance of loads of downtown sights, with a calm relaxed lobby to rest feet, use WiFi, grab a free coffee, eat your takeout, and - crucially - super comfy beds with a massive TV for when you’ve walked around all day and need a rest. There’s a jazz club and cocktail bar next door, Times Square etc one way and also Target and fast food options 5 minutes in the other direction on 44th. The staff stored luggage for us, gave the kids seasonal treats, and were generous with the takeaway breakfast bags. If you want up-to-date spotless decor, big rooms and silence then stay somewhere else (and pay a lot more). But if you want a safe easy friendly affordable central pitstop for a short city break then this is ideal.

At 1st I was skeptical after reading the reviews but decided I really wanted the location. But I will say this. Don’t let the reviews fool you. This hotel was amazing. My flight came in early (8am) and I started not feeling well (health issues) so I headed to the hotel because I was in no shape just to hang out. I went to the front desk and asked if at all possible was a room ready that I could check into because I needed to lay down. I offered to pay extra for early check in. the gentleman behind the counter was so kind. he was able to check me in early and didn’t charge extra. our room was clean and the beds we’re comfortable. we couldn’t get the remote to work but it really wasn’t a big deal as we were not there to watch tv. breakfast was a win too. I will be coming back soon.

I loved everything about this place

For New York the room had a good size, 2 couple beds where I could stay comfy with my 2 teenager kids. Bathroom had a good size, not brand new but hot water and a nice shower. The breakfast was great (despite the room was tine), you just need a little patience, however it worth since an outside breakfast would cost me $20 per person. The location is great, just 2 or 3 blocks from Times Square, it aloud you to come and take a quick rest in our room if you wish so. There is some homeless walking by the hotel door, not big deal but sometimes can be disturbing.

Homeless getting in the hotel lobby and staying there for a while, according to the manager they couldn't stop those people of coming inside. The breakfast lobby is tine but not a big deal.

The location was amazing - just a short walk from Times Square and to the Port Authority subway station. Staff were helpful and welcoming, rooms were clean and tidy with comfortable beds and the breakfast (although in a very small space with a lot of people) was decent enough to give you a good start to the day and saved us a lot of money as NYC is *expensive*!

The plug sockets in the room were a bit ropey, the elevator was the slowest ever and the room was pretty noisy, especially at night and with the A/C running constantly due to the heat (we coped with the use of earplugs though). The breakfast area was cramped and constantly busy so it was often necessary to wait for a seat/table.

Firstly, the hotel was comfortable, great location welcoming. The two reception staff were amazing, especially Rahul. They both went above and beyond. Myself and my family of 5 including two chilldren had two flight cancelations while staying at this hotel. We had checked out although sat in lobby waiting to go to airport for our flight to Canada. This was several hours until flight was yet again cancelled. The two reception staff helped myself and family find other means of transport. They let us have drinks and Rahul entertained our two children. My children thought Rahul was amazing and want to stay at this hotel again. Thank you guys Truly humble and amazing! It took away alot of stress. Avril & Chris & family.

The location is about 3 blocks from Times Square which was a plus!! There is also a great breakfast, plus there is a cafe across the street. There is also a parking garage with kind people across the street that works with the hotel for their guests.

The rooms are a bit small but that’s New York.. The young adult at the front desk wasn’t the most inviting. I felt like I had to pull information out of him in order to know what to do for parking and I asked for my room keys.

The location of this hotel is perfect. The breakfast is good with options and a good start for the day. Staff is very nice and helpful. They keep you bags after check out, which is very nice and helpful.

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel while in NYC. This time, our room was neer the elevator, and we could hear every one and every time that it was used. The window curtains were stained. The bathroom needs to be renovated, and the toilet seat changed! Overall, this specific room should get a makeover. The room was clean, but many the stains on the wall, carpet, curtains, and the bathroom shower and toilet seat gave a bad impression.

I recently stayed at the Ramada hotel near Times Square in New York. As we all know, this area is quite expensive to stay in, so I was happy to find that the Ramada was a bit cheaper than other hotels in the area. However, after checking in, we encountered some issues with the room lock. The unlock cards were not working properly, and the staff - who were Indian - did not handle the situation well. It seemed like they lacked customer service skills, and would get angry if you asked them something more than once. One of the staff members even told us that if we put the lock card near our mobile phones, it wouldn't work. This seemed like a strange explanation to me, as it's normal for a card to be in your pocket, which is likely to be near your phone. Despite this issue, the room itself was good and had a view of the street. It was also located near all the major attractions. The room was clean, although the coffee machine was dirty. They did not provide a dental kit, but this seems to be common among hotels in New York. The breakfast was good, with enough dishes to satisfy our morning hunger. Overall, my experience at the Ramada was good, but I would suggest that they either hire English-speaking staff or train their Asian staff better in customer service skills.
