Grandview Hotel New York

Great location. Alot of stores and restaurants in the area.

Small parking lot. If you are a party person who arrives after 12 am, you will have to find parking on street.

+ Very comfortable bed + Air conditioning and heating worked really well + Quiet location + Bus stop just in front of the building, subway station 15 minutes on foot or you can take a bus + Very helpful staff (you can ask for room service every time you need it) + Clean bathroom and room + Iron with ironing board in your room + Internet connection worked really good (and it’s for free) + TV has HDMI so we could use our Chromecast and watch Netflix etc. + Coffee maker in room, you can make also tea 24h in the hall + Fridge in our room + Supermarket 5min on foot from hotel

- Room is a little bit small (there is not enough space for two suitcases) - You can hear everything from the street and also other guests shouting in their rooms - There was a problem with a toilet - it was getting choked very often

Very clean. The room is small but has everything I need. Bus stop right in front of the hotel.

Wifi was not stable. Location is 2km from Flushing's main street and is a bit scary to walk at night.

Above all, the staff at the Grandview, especially Stewart, were FANTASTIC! They all knew how to treat a customer with respect and to help them out! I was in a bus from Toronto CA to New York NY and due to the bus schedule, I arrived early. I left my luggage at the hotel but was able to check in before the check in time without any additional payment! This was perfect for me! During my stay, the staff were friendly, always talking to me and helping me with any questions I had! The room itself was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the room's facilities met all my expectations! I have no doubt that when I return to NY, I will be staying at the Grandview again! The hotel was near a supermarket and plenty of shops. The bus stop is right outside the hotel which makes it easy to get to different parts of New York!

I liked everything about the hotel, the staff, my room and the area!

Location of the hotel was very close to the Billie Jean King Tennis Stadium and LaGuardia Airport. Hotel was also 5 minutes to a great grocery store with a nice selection of gluten free and ready foods to go. (Salads, sandwiches, cut up fruit). Our room was in the basement at the end, so it was quiet and comfortable.

Bathroom floors could have been cleaner, especially around the toilet and outside of the tub/shower. They needed to clean it with a toothbrush and ajax to get the brown dirt/grime or whatever's. In addition, we got woken up twice with the fire alarm like 11pm and 3 o'clock am and had to go outside. Someone was smoking in their room. I hope that guest got a hefty fine! Fire trucks were not happy the second time. Lastly, I think they should put a mirror on the wall by the desk. They only had the mirror in the bathroom.

The room was very clean and looks like it has been recently remodeled. We are picky about clean rooms and this one was great. Perfect size for a couple staying just a few nights. Plenty of drawer space and a closet. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't mind a smaller room. Maybe other rooms are bigger but ours would not be ideal for kids. Also liked that the bus picked up right in front of the hotel. This location is just outside of the main hustle and bustle so it's quieter.

The only thing I wish the rooms had were full length mirrors so it would be easier to get ready. The only mirror is above the bathroom sink. Also the comforter has a duvet cover which the blanket was loose in but not a deal breaker by any means.

this hotel is perfect!! great people, room spotless. beds and pillows perfect. room small but perfect for 2 people. neighborhood safe. 2 buses right out side door. safe parking

no fault of the hotel but is is a bit far in terms of getting into the city. BUT bus and subway so close not a dealbreaker at all

Properly is very close to LGA which is why I booked with them. Its clean and located right outside Flushing which I’ve never been to ended up exploring because I had time to spare waiting to go to the airport. It was a very beautiful town. nice people and everything was very clean. From restaurants to homes I felt very safe walking alone and working from a random coffee house.

The first room I was in smelled terribly like smoke. I have bad asthma so I asked to be switched immediately and Stuart was on top of it asap. Very nice and helpful man.

Good small hotel in comfortable location in Queens. Many food places and grocery store in few minutes walking distance. Easy access to public transport (bus stop just outside front door). Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel has free parking, though it is first-come-first-served so parking place is not guaranteed. Daytime and early evening free parking places were always available for us, but later in evening parking seemed to always get full. Hotel is not fancy or luxurious, and rooms are quite small, but price is affordable and it is clean and comfortable place to stay and I recommend it if you are looking for good value hotel with free parking in this area.

There was nothing i did not like.

good bang for your buck. very accessible by public transport (multiple bus stops nearby, subway at main street at 15min walk) comfy bed supermarket and >10 food places practically next to the hotel staff was nice :)

despite clear no smoking indications, other guests still smoked. could smell this in the room even the morning after. while location is accessible, its quite far from anything thats not flushing safe in the room did not work (though we didnt ask about this with employees, probably coulda been fixed) while sheets and all were clean, walls/floors could use some love shower makes floor wet despite shower curtain
