Sleep Inn Asheville-Biltmore West

The woman at the desk Saturday Evening was fantastic. We needed directions as our GPS was acting up, and she gave us great directions. we were stressed because our front tires were dangerously worn out after being on the parkway for two days and I had to put our spare on for the one that had steel belts showing. On arrival she looked up tire shops open on Sunday that were nearby and printed the info for us. That really helped us and calmed us down. Awesome customer service, Thanks.

Looked recentrly renovated and had room for our 24' RV. Room was very clean and breakfast was typical but filled the gap.

When we arrived to scope out the property the parking lot was almost empty, less than 8 vehicles. It looked closed. We were skeptic as to why it was so empty. We took a chance and booked as it was one of the only places that could fit our small RV. Glad we did. Maybe its rented mostly by workers and they arrived later, not sure. Either way, great stay for the price.

I loved being able to have access to the BetterSleep app. I had never used the app before and now I even use it at home - it genuinely helped me relax during my stay. The view on the outside patio with breakfast was unexpected - in a good way. We had no clue we would have a pretty view of the mountains/horizon during breakfast at the hotel. Overall a nice experience. We were just willing to stay at whatever hotel, we aren't picky. So these were pleasant surprises that exceeded our expectations. :)

I had told the hotel we were celebrating a birthday - they responded that they would do something special for us for the occasion (on their own, we did not ask for this service). I know it wasn't a 5 star hotel...but when they said that, we were so excited to see what they would come up with, even if it were small. Well, they must have forgotten - so we were bummed. It wasn't a big deal, but when you promise something...you should follow through.

Everything was clean,comfortable. It was a bit dated, but had been freshly painted and had everything needed for an over night stay. You really don't need much, a clean bed,a clean bathroom, a comfortable shower, a safe area that is easy to get to.

It was somewhat hard to find. Gps did not have time to tell me where to turn. When gps told me to tur. I was already past the drive. I could not tell where the buimding was until after I turned into the Comfort Inn next door. Not really a huge deal. I am not sure how that could be corrected. When I was checking in, a man came to the counter furious that he was just given a room that already had someone in it. That made me feel a little unsafe. It was in a location that felt like there were construction workers that frequented due to being out of town for the job site. If I coukd have known I might have looked for a different sight. But everything turned out just fine. You can not control who stays with you. A single traveler just needs to feel safe.

The front desk employee was so great, and nice, and very helpful. The hotel was clean and in great condition, no paint peeling, carpets were clean, and the bathroom was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the charging station on the bed stand with usb ports. It’s in an incredible location that’s not too busy, yet everything you need (restaurants, dollar stores, car repair, gas stations) is all within a couple miles, or even a short walk down the hill.

The breakfast was ok.

Really clean, quiet room. Super comfortable bed with a ton of soft pillows. The room was equipped with everything you might need and everything was working fine. The bathroom doesn't have a bathtub, but the shower is nice. Best shampoo I've seen at any hotel so far.

The breakfast options are quite limited and the coffee machine wasn't working (because it wasn't connected to a network, lol). There was no one there at 6 in the morning to take a look at it. It can be hard to find someone at the reception desk (phone on the wall might help)

The staff went above and beyond providing an ice brush/scraper to aid us as we were leaving during a winter storm. They were super friendly and courteous. The room was very clean, the bed comfortable, the water hot in the shower. The grab n go breakfast was reasonable for a la carte . It was a great experience from adjusting our stay dates prior to arrival through leaving in the midst of a storm.

The coffee--both in room and at breakfast--was not good at all. The pods were flavorless and the machine liquid was thick and tarry, bitter and just yuk. An investment in a better coffee machine would be appreciated by all I'm sure :)

Clean & comfortable!!! Clerk was so very pleasant & accommodating. It was convenient to restaurants, grocery & other stores. We had a wonderful & relaxing stay! We will stay there again next time we should be in the area.

Breakfast had a lot to be desired. Most poor choice of items of any place we have ever stayed. Juices were so watered down it was pathetic. Sorry to complain about that & I guess shouldn’t expect much more considering the good value of the accommodations.

The hotel is located by shopping areas and fast food for easy access. You can easily hop on the highway and go straight to downtown Asheville. Our room had mountain views and we even spotted a ground hog right out our window. The staff was quick to our service and nice. There was complimentary breakfast from 6am-9am and they also have a patio with mountain views.

Our only cons were that the bedroom had a funky smell coming from the sink which is located in the sleeping area instead of having its separate room with the bathroom. We were located close by the lobby so when someone is having a conversation outside by the breakfast area we can hear them. Overall the stay was pleasant and we will consider coming back.

We were impressed at how nice everything was, we were so tired and happy there were restaurants nearby. When we finished dinner we came back and laid down in the comfortable beds. Slept like logs! We even made it downstairs for the free breakfast. Very good and kept nice and clean.
