upon check in was told theft was high on kias and was told to park as close to the building as I could every night parking was a problem with people over lines and trucks with trailers taking up space

It should of been stated on the website and on the secondary sites such as booking.com and expedia that the pool was not open. This was the only reason I stayed at this hotel. For the “indoor” pool. Was very upset once we got there and noticed it was closed for the “season”. I did not book at a hotel that had a outdoor only pool bcuz I knew it was possible it to be closed. As well as weather may not been warm enough. So I went with this hotel which was a little pricer than one I originally was going to stay at but they didn’t have a pool for my kids. So now I paid more and still no pool. Please update the sites to save others from the same.

The location was the main thing I was looking for on our trip as it's just down the road from zmax dragway & close to restaurants & walmart if you need anything else. This was our second stay here & will definitely be back.

One of the few things I didn't care for was how tiny the fridge was. It would be nice if they had a extra place outside of your room to place bulkier garbage that doesn't fit in the trash cans in the room as I've seen at other places. I like to leave the rooms I stay in almost as clean as I got it.

Never ran out of hot water. LOVED how close the hotel is to the train (Lynx / Blue Line). Thermostat worked very well: room temperature was very adjustable. Great customer service from the front desk staff. I did not interact with housekeeping staff but I have no complaints with them!

The room they put us in had a fistful of bugs zipping around in the sink, and a stain on the bedsheets. However, they moved us to a different room after we called them, and the new room was appropriately clean and bug-free. No complaints about the new room; see above for what we liked about the new room.

Convenient location, clean rooms

They offer smoking rooms mixed in where the non-smoking rooms are, so there's a definite smoke smell in hallways. Bit of a turn off for non-smokers.

Clean, spacious room with the necessary and expected features. Breakfast was sufficient with a variety of bagels and muffins, as well as cereals and the ability to make fresh waffles. A variety of fresh yogurts and juices were also available, in addition to hot coffee and tea.

The bathroom sink had three large cracks. The toilet base and outer bathtub areas had been poorly over-caulked. Although cleaning and ionization had been done previously, an underlying odor of cigarette smoke was noticed upon arrival. It would have been nice to have the availability of fresh fruits (oranges, apples, bananas, etc.) along with the other breakfast items previously listed.

Casey! Casey! Casey! She was the most amazing cafeteria hostess! She has the most pleasant uplifting spirit! Very professional and welcoming! I was in awe watching her as she made sure all of the food stations stayed clean and well stocked with food, beverages, condiments, plates and bowls and eating utensils all while greeting and interacting with each visitor that walked through the doors with a smile. I heard her in the kitchen singing and couldn't help but to offer her praise for her sweet spirit! I could even attest that she temporarily stepped into the role of security when there was an incident with an irate person just passing through. She was very calm in her interaction with them and very quickly de-escalated the situation and escorted him out of the area with no incident! SHE DESERVES A PROMOTION AND A RAISE!! I made sure to let the front desk manager know and was told that Casey would definitely be taken care of. I really hope so as she is the best example I have ever seen of what it TRULY means to love what you do and go ABOVE AND BEYOND customer expectation! KUDOS TO YOU CASEY!!!! The 2nd thing that I was happy about was that I had booked the room through booking.com which indicated that the room would accommodate 4 adults and 1 child but it did not. However staff and housekeeping went out of their way to create a sleep area for my child who if I must say, slept very well. I appreciate them for helping in making our stay as comfortable as possible!

😄The staff there was exceptionally friendly I definitely would say Rebecca did her job exceptionally well her patience and answering all my questions and the lady that checked us in that Saturday October 8th that evening....

😄The breakfast was exceptionally great the location I loved it rooms are clean enough towels never needed to get more snack machine was full I would definitely next time I come to Charlotte I would definitely pick this hotel no matter where I stayed I was going to do I'll choose this hotel to stay in so I don't know why there's a :-( at the beginning of this review so I just put a happy face myself because that's how I felt staying at this hotel being out of town thanks guys

This place is nice overall, good room, close to Walmart, IHOP, Burger King and the train station, the pool area and breakfast area are opened it was raining when I went there but again overall the hotel is nice. The staff there are really nice and friendly they ran out of pancake syrup and the staff went to get more they seem to be very happy to help out there, I like my stay at their property. The rooms I get are always in the back of the property so not a view of the parking lot but it's a very large room with a living room, sink faucet and 2 t.v. sets with a microwave and refrigerator.
