The staff were very friendly and helpful upon check in and also allowed us to park an extra vehicle in their lot before our official check in time. It allowed us to carpool to Charlotte Motor Speedway to beat the traffic. The room was comfortable and the shower was immediately hot with great pressure. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and other attractions and walking distance to a few sit down restaurants.

The only negative was the size of the indoor pool and Jacuzzi. If the outdoor pool had also been open it may have given more space, but the hot tub is a little too small to be comfortable.

We loved this hotel and felt safe and secure while staying at the hotel. They had a wonderful dinner when we arrived with 2 alcohol drinks per person in our group, and had a wonderful breakfast. Both dinner and breakfast had a wide variety of options. They also offered popcorn during certain hours in the evening. The room was big, exceptionally clean and the mattresses extra comfortable. We stayed one Saturday going to FL and was so satisfied and impressed we ended up cancelling our return trip hotel and rebooking there instead! The pool room was beautiful with a wall making the pool both indoor and outdoor and a wonderful hot tub in the room. The hotel was right off the interstate!

Last time I stayed in Charlotte I was scared and uneasy at the hotel we stayed at. Drury Hotel was different and no seedy people lurking about.

Dinner, breakfast, 2 adult beverages, pool, all free. Location is great. Room was great. Price was great. Service was great. Will definitely look for Drury Inn and Suites first before looking at anywhere else to stay.

Building seemed older but not run down or in bad condition. Bathroom was small and felt a bit cramped compared to what I'm used to but it honestly wasn't a problem. AC made a lot of noise and could probably use some maintenance but still worked. Fan in bathroom didn't work.

Older/outdated facility but nice upkeep/clean and comfy especially beds, one of the best parts was FREE happy hour! Staff super friendly and professional. Shops and dining were within walking distance.

Getting out of parking lot had cross over many lanes to do a u turn. elevator closest to room out of order for entire stay a little inconvenient, the breakfast was the WORST, hot food was cold even after several requests (attendance was nice) and overall bland/nothing like online photos. Overpriced for overall quality.

Amazing value. Great amenities, the place was clean, the service was friendly, and the location is prime, with a quick drive to UNC Charlotte and lots of places to eat. I will absolutely stay again.

The decor is a little outdated but honestly it didn't bother me at all.

We have stayed at this location probably 10+ times over the past 8yrs and we keep returning. We have learned the area and the are lots of places to eat some within walking distance and the are places to shop all within 5 minute drive. Charlotte Motor speedway is about a 15 drive. The staff has always been very nice, I think this is a Drury standard, we have stayed at all 3 Drury locations in the Charlotte area and they all were great. This location at university park works best for us. We will be back.

Well maintained, attractive and clean. Breakfast and evening “kick back” were done well, and they were definitely pluses.

Would have preferred not to have been above the pool due to the noise at times (this is obviously true of most facilities that have a pool).

Great location. Very clean updated lobby area. Whole place smelled clean and fresh , not an overly chemical smelling clean. Breakfast area was very nice, plenty of seating, food was good and abundant with lots of choices and and the coffee was good and hot. Staff in breakfast area were very friendly. I liked the room shower dispensers, very convenient. I like the fact that the pool is both indoor and outdoor with hot tub. We did not have time to use it but looked good. Check in/out was very smooth and quick. Plenty of restaurants and shopping near the hotel.

The only issue was a very annoying, constant on off sound, like a muffled leaf blower humming sound that we could only determine might have been coming from the laundry area possibly. We mentioned to the front desk. Other than that everything was good.

I never stayed in a Drury before, and I was blown away. the bed was comfortable, for a hotel it was quiet, the room was spotless, great Wi-Fi, close to shopping and eateries, and most importantly the yummy complimentary dinner and alcohol beverages.

Kind of smelled of weed at times.

loved the 11am check out, free breakfast and the pool/hot tub were fantastic! very clean and in a great location!

The people next door to us were very loud at all hours of the day/evening. there must've been at least 6 people in that room.
