We have stayed here a number of times. We use it as a stopover when traveling from Ohio to the Outer Banks. The location is great. We stop here after a 10-hour drive, and then we get up early the next morning to get to the OBX. We've always found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and there is the typical space you'd expect in a hotel like this. There are several restaurants directly around the hotel so it's easy to find a place to eat. We'll come back next year for sure.

The only minor gripe is that the room air conditioner was quite loud, but those units are just naturally loud. There's not too much that can be done about it. We didn't feel it was the hotel's fault.

The location was perrfect. The room was a nice size; very clean and no issues. The staff was nice. I really liked the breakfast, because it had a lot more options that most hotels do not.

The tv in the first room we were in, was not connecting to the cable. It took us a while to realize this. Once we called the front desk, they were very helpful. They helped us with troubleshooting and we realized the tv was not going to connect. The front desk switched our room for us, with no hesitation. Other than this issue, everything else was great!

Breakfast was very good. There was a woman in charge of breakfast there that was so helpful and was working very hard to keep replenishing the food items as well as keep tables sanitized for guests. wish I got her name as she was a amazing!

I made a mistake thinking the hotel did not allow pets as my husband is very allergic to dogs. We saw several dogs in the lobby during check in and asked if they might have a room that pets are never assigned to for anyone allergice. They do not however she told us if he had a problem when he got into the room to let her know. She was very helpful giving us ideas where to eat dinner in the area since it was our first visit.

The location to ECSU, the staff was polite, personable and accommodating all the way down to the breakfast buffet. I love that the hotel is neat and very clean. the tables had signs that they was disenfected. The staff from the desk to meeting people in passing was polite and courteous. my favorite place to stay.

The pool was not inspected despite knowing it was a big weekend for the state. it should have been pre inspected earlier in anticipation for that weekend having a full house.

The facility was in a great location for what we needed...a stopover before heading to the Outer Banks the next day. There were restaurants nearby and we were close to a couple of gas stations to handle our refueling for the trip the next day. We have stayed there before and will stay there again. The staff we ran into were all very nice. The doors that unlocked using my phone were REALLY nice. It's just a little convenience thing, but it made life in the hotel a little easier. Oh, and the blackout blinds were great. They made the room pitch black for sleeping. We couldn't tell the sun had come up the next morning.

Last year when we stayed, the room we booked was a handicapped-accessible room, which is obviously a vital room type to have, but since we didn't need that service, it made for an awkward experience since the shower experience is a lot different. Again, not a huge thing, but something to consider when booking at this facility. This year, there was a slightly odd smell to the room. I couldn't identify where it came from, but the room itself was really clean and the scent didn't impact the quality of our stay at all.

Hospitality was awesome. Staff always had a smile and very helpful.

I requested housekeeping everyday of my stay. That Friday all I needed was to pick up my towels and give me clean ones for one room and clean the other room. Was not done. Next day Ms Rita took great care of us. Thank you to Ms Rita

breakfast was OK, good selection. Needed more seats that day as it was quite busy.

No vending machines on the 3rd floor. Had to get a drink from the lobby and add to the room. I prefer a vending machine where I don't have to go into a public area. My friend forgot her phone charger and the company you use wanted to charge her over $20 to return it. It would have cost about $6.00 for an express envelope from the USPS. That is not good business.

The location was perfect for the occasion. Bo (manager) greeted us with a smile, was very informative and accommodating. So thankful for his superb customer service.

I stayed here a couple years ago and all was great. I feel there are some minor updates needed in the bathrooms and with the beds.

The staff were friendly & professional. They even gave my dog a little doggie bag filled with goodies! I also want to give a special shout out to Bo, he was patient & kind when I kept making mistakes with my reservation. He kindly corrected the errors on several occasions without hesitate or the slightest of irritation. Please give him a raise!!

Nothing, everything was great.

The bed was very comfortable but the heater and toilets could use an upgrade.

When the HVAC unit started running it sounded like a truck engine was in the room. Seriously! Also, my toilet backed up at 1230 am, and I had to open my door to receive a toilet plunger. No paying guest should have to plumb a hotel toilet. The toilet is too low and the flush handle has to be held down too long to effectively flush. Also there was no night light in the bathroom. It's hard to get back to sleep after exposure to bright light in the middle of the night.
