Best Western Lumberton

Breakfast was good. Location was convenient off I-95

The front desk clerk was efficient, but she could have smiled occasionally and been more pleasant. Same observation with the woman who was servicing the breakfast area. She never did smile, but she was efficient. The lock on my room door was difficult to unlock with the electronic key. I had to try it five or six times to get it to work.

We chose the Best Western because we were traveling with pets and their pricing was fair. My husband needed an accessible room and the bathroom more than met our expectations. There was a roll in shower, shower chair, support rails on the wall by the toilet. For pets the grounds were well cared for and the grassy area was large and safe. The hotel has a Walmart and fast food places literally steps out the door. The room was large and had a couch, desk, closet and large bathroom. We would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in the Lumberton area while traveling. The breakfast was surprising...the selection was wonderful - scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruit, toast, bagels, yogurt, juice and all managed by an outstanding staff member. She was very proud of her position at the hotel and this pride was reflected in the way she prepared and set up the breakfast.

Breakfast hours seem a bit short to me...6AM-9AM.

The motel was quiet even though it was totally booked . Everybody was was friendly and polite. At here was ample parking and access to eateries and shopping.

I didn’t like the following; the cover and diffuser on the hvac unit were broke off and laying on the unit, the drain in the tub/shower was clogged and you stood in 2” water when showering and the mini refrigerator was not level on the floor causing you to need to lift it to open and close the door. I politely left the front desk know these things needed attention.

Super clean, staff is very helpful and friendly. Bed is very comfortable! I love that the suite is bigger than normal rooms, the coffee and the breakfast is good! I also love the easy access to outside, for smoking, right outside our door instead of down the hallways and through the lobby to get outside.

Its an older facility but well kept and very clean. The staff was very kind and courteous. Loved the beds.

Facility is next to a shopping center where the young people drag race and roar their engines.

Excellent value for the price; pet friendly; all staff were friendly; immaculately clean (I really like the vinyl floors); having door open to outside is very convenient for dealing with the needs of our old dog. The post-covid reduced breakfast has been retired and they now have a very good breakfast. I have stayed here a few times and the experience has been consistently excellent.

I don't care for the third party billing, where you don't get an itemized bill upon checkout, it comes later in an email or just shows up on your credit card statement. If you are sensitive to noise, this is located adjacent to a busy shopping plaza; did not bother me.

We’ve stop there several times on our car trip to Florida. It is very clean hotel, the non-heated pool is renovated, the beds are super comfortable. Easy check In and Out. The breakfast is tasty and fresh.

I would put a note that the pool is not heated, so people would not be disappointed when the weather is cool.

The location is excellent for a must-have rest on a long drive up or down the coast especially of you’ve got your dog. They have huge, grassy, well-kept grounds and a pool! The front desk is very responsive, friendly, helpful, polite. The only problem for me was the beds in my room were way too soft, like a hammock. But the location is very convenient, it was quiet, and I appreciated the clean, well-appointed, large room and bathroom. It had everything, even a huge ironing board and iron. A large padded table for the suitcase, all the soap/shampoo/etc. and drive through restaurants and big box stores within walking distance.

The beds in my room were not comfortable they sunk down when I got into them and I only weigh 125.

. We did like it, we try to always stay at a Best Western, always clean and we enjoy the hot breakfast. Staff is always helpful and courteous.

The tub was worn and needed to be replaced . Sheets didn't fit the bed, and there really wasn't a anything to cover yourself. Every time you tried to use the blanket the sheets came off. Needs bedding that fit.

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and the staff was very nice.

The electric outlets could be updated- there is only one outlet near the beds so if you had to work on a laptop and charge other electronics, you wouldn't be able to use and lie in bed. Also the bathtub was a bit banged up and the bottom needs to be resurfaced.
