All the staff were very friendly and made you feel welcomed. The landscape is beautiful and clean. The rooms are a little small but comfortable and so clean. The bed was very comfortable. They offer free BBQ and fixins for the guest on Saturday which was so delicious! They also had Cloggers which was fun along with Karaoke, bar, free fire wood for the fire pits they have set up. Betty that manages the bar was awesome! Super sweet and friendly. I fell in love with her dog Misty. It's a great place to stay and I will return.

I didn't like that you could not take a bottle of water or non alcohol beverage in the fire pit area outside the bar. That makes no sense what so ever. Couldn't even take a bottle of water in the outside bar which is very open.

Location, location, location. Great location. Surrounded by a number of choice restaurants for a small town. Great coffee with their complimentary breakfast. Family dogs allowed at a great price.

Room a bit dated but it’s cleanliness made up for it.

the location is beautiful. they have lots of property next to the Creek. lots of grass and trees. they put it to good use with entertainment I guess on weekends, we were not there on a weekend but still enjoyed being able to stroll something other than a parking lot. they had a restaurant and bar. they should give discount coupons to guests for restaurant and bar. the restaurant menu was fancy compared to the rooms. many guests we talked to weren’t even aware the restaurant was there. coupons might get travelers to try it.

This is my 4th stay at Meadowlark Motel as I travel through Maggie Valley a couple of times a year. The property borders Jonathan Creek and is peaceful and lovely. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The price is reasonable and the rooms have always been clean. The bed was not the most comfortable I ever slept in, but it wasn't terrible either. They have these cute little retro looking matching mint green microwaves and refrigerators in the rooms I have stayed in. There is a coffee maker and the usual toiletries, although I always travel with my own. They are dog friendly which is great if you travel with your fur babies. They had live music on the Saturday night that I stayed, but I'm not sure about their music schedule. They have a small restaurant, but I did not eat there, so I can't report on that. Instead, I got take out from J Arther's restaurant across the street from the motel and highly recommend it as well! They have a continental breakfast from 7-11. I really have nothing bad to report other than a loud neighbor that came in at 2am and woke me up, (the walls between the rooms are not sound proof). Then the next morning, the obnoxious, redneck jerk came outside and paced back and forth outside my room on the phone, screaming obscenities at someone in a very long detailed conversation that everyone in the nearby vicinity could hear! But that was certainly NOT the fault of the motel management, and could happen anywhere. Try them out next time you are in Maggie Valley.

I absolutely have nothing bad to say about our room it was very clean. We was very happy with our visit to the Meadowlark Motel and if we have to be placed somewhere safe again I would enjoy staying again and they will allow you to have you fur-baby and that's a huge difference in my life because she is my emotional support animal.

Well the location is a little far out if you had some type of ride wouldn't be a problem but neither one of us drive so it was kinda hard but when you want your family safe you'll do what you gotta do. Thanks for all of YOUR HELP!!!! So I have nothing to say bad about the room nor the staff.

The hotel is older but very clean. We had a coffee pot, microwave and fridge in our room. We had fresh towels, shampoo and body soap provided in the shower. The bed is firm but not hard. They provide a continental breakfast every morning. During our visit there was Karaoke on Friday night and free BBQ with live music on Saturday night! We were there for my birthday weekend and it was perfect. Very relaxing, beautiful scenery and the owners are so friendly! We definitely would love to return to this property in the near future!

The food was fantastic. We really enjoyed the speakeasy and the music. Loved the location. The owner and GM were super friendly.

We had room 113 which has the heater attached to the main building. Night time got miserable hot. We actually had to sleep with the front door open which made me very uncomfortable for safety reasons. Needless to say we did not sleep well during our stay. We tried to close the vent and even covered it but with such a small room it didn't work. I'd definitely recommend the motel to friends just not that room.

The people here made it such a great experience. In the morning we thought we would just get a simple continental breakfast and to our surprise, we had an awesome tenderloin fresh eggs, and biscuit breakfast. The coffee was some of the best coffee I have ever had. Then Saturday night they had an event with a band and barbeque by the river. Made my stay all worthwhile. We drove to Gatlinburg and on the way back stopped at a large field filled with elk. So wonderful!

The staff was MORE than accommodating and attentive to our needs and also fantastically friendly. Bed was comfortable and all of us slept like babies. They didn't just serve breakfast in the morning. They had BBQ pork, cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, and sweet tea or lemonade to drink. Also had a gentleman there singing Scottish and Irish songs (He was Great). The food was excellent and believe it or not......it was all NO CHARGE. This was all on a Saturday evening.

NOT a dang thing !!!!! Can't say that anything could have been any better. Just typing something here so that I can post my review.
