Comfort Inn

The room was clean and the bathroom sink and countertop was big .I loved the closet and long mirror for dressing.The housekeeping staff where friendly.We felt safe in this town that we were just traveling to from Holden beach.The breakfast was fairly descent ,dining area was crowded ,a bit small.Overall the bed was very comfortable and we can't wait to come back when we go on our next beach vacation in September.

The place was very clean and welcoming. The staff was wonderful, kind, and helpful. We made a request for 2 rooms, one handicapped and one just regular, they were more than helpful and got us adjoining rooms one handicapped. This was fantastic. We even arrived early and they were kind enough to get us into our rooms earlier than checkin. They were so nice!

I really don't have any complaints. Everything was nice and clean and easy to access.

Comfort Inn Shelby met every expectation. Beyond that, the staff is absolutely delightful. I'm not being sappy here. Rosemarie and crew are the icing on the cake, if you will. The moments interacting with them were very upbeat and pleasant. This was our second stay at Comfort Inn Shelby and our view of them is the same for both stays. If Rosemarie sees this, here is a smile for you and the crew. :- ). Ron

Hot breakfast, disability pool chair. I think her name is Rose, Fantastic doesn't even come close to her outstanding customer service,she has a way of making you feel like you have been friends for years.

I'm 5ft2 and the beds were really high,I had to climb in and felt like leap out. Toilet was very low to floor like a child's toilet. Room 119 the door would not close by itself, it had to be pulled.

We really loved our stay and plan to visit again soon. The hospitality was awesome and the room was like a nothing we expected in a very positive way. We look forward to always booking at the Comfort Inn because we were treated like family.

Having to leave but have to go to work. Our next stay is going to be a longer time.

The breakfast was really nice. The breakfast room was very clean. The person in charge of the breakfast on our check out date. 9/26/22 was very prompt and polite. The location was perfect for what we were there for. Close to a lot of stores.

We didn't have anything to complain about. The staff was very friendly and available when needed.

My husband and I fly into Charlotte airport and drive to Asheville about once every 2 or 3 months. We usually arrive in the evening, so we stay at this hotel and drive the rest of the way in the morning. Can't tell you how many times we've spent the night here. We've never had a complaint. Staff is always pleasant. Beds are comfortable.

Check-n was fine, room location was fine, clean room and pretty quiet.

Breakfast area was a little smaller than I thought it would be and seemed to be understaffed and not quite prepared food wise.

How nice and friendly the staff was

Had one day staff started cleaning our room didn't finish. Left bedding they removed in the chair, left no towels and didn't empty trash. Staff was very quick to apologize and clean our room

Location was great. Near shopping and an excellent BBQ restaurant.

This is an older Comfort Inn. Could use a little updating in the halls, kitchen, and lobby. Like all hotels we have stayed in, the beds are TOO HIGH. We are seniors and have a special needs daughter. It's really hard to get into and out of bed.
