Homewood Suites by Hilton Akron/Fairlawn

The room was spacious and clean. It was quiet and the staff was great. The breakfast was good too. Aside from what they had laid out for guests there was a man who greeted you and presented additional options that he could make for you. The location is great. Everything you might need is right around the hotel. Restaurants, shopping, movie theater, Walmart, etc.

The sofa bed mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. There was no service to the room so if you needed towels or toilet paper or anything you had to come down to the front desk to get it. One of the mornings there were no wash cloths because they were all being washed and I was told to come back in couple hours. I was able to get some that night.

the room was as advertised and clean. The breakfast was amazing. the overall décor of the Hotel was beautiful.

Upon check in the front desk clerk was dealing with some unruly guests that had to many people in the room. this led to around eight police officers and even the K-9 unit to be dispatched. we didn t check in for almost an hour. once we did the officers had filled the elevator to go to the same floor we where headed to. we arrived un our room settled in and then took my two kids to the pool. unfortunately other guests had a party in the pool are and outdoor grill area. no towels in the pool area and it was left a mess

Proximity to Cleveland. The pool schedule opened early and closed late. The breakfast, gentleman/chef, was phenomenal. As a manager in business, I would love to have been able to convince him to come work for me if I worked close by. Keep him and give him a raise.The housekeeping staff member blonde lady had great customer service. She was friendly and greeted us every morning. She is another associate who deserves a raise. I wished I had remembered the names of these 2 associates, but unfortunately, I didn't.

The pull out bed was filthy, and there were no sheets on it when we arrived.

The hotel was great. The suite was spacious and comfortable. The bed was amazing. The kitchenette was stocked with the necessary dishes to make decent meals.

The shower door was terrible. It kept coming out of the track when you opened and closed it. The shower/toilet space was very small compared to the actual suite size. The door barely cleared the toilet and the shower. When using the map link from booking.com for the hotel the directions were way off. My spouse had to pull up the hotel website and use their map link.

When my granddaughter and I first walked into the door, we were greeted by CeeCee. She was extremely friendly, personable, fun, yet professional. She has such a wonderful spirit. My next encounter was with Paul, who was in charge of breakfast. Oh my, he is a wonderful, humble and gracious man. He went to each table to fill the drinks or to see if they needed anything; he explained what was on the menu the day; there was a wide variety of food and it was delicious; and he made a “slamming” smoothie. He asked me if I would like to try another smoothie and I said I would like to try blueberry. The next morning he had a blueberry smoothie ready for me, which was oh so good. I heard other people complimenting him for his kindness and professionalism. We need more Paul’s in the world. My last contact was with Brandy upon my departure. Although my time with her was only a couple of minutes, she was very friendly and kind. I hope that you will reach out to them to let them know how much I truly appreciated them and they are one of the reasons why I would return.

The rooms were beautiful, the bed extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing! Everything was very clean and smelling very fresh!

Breakfast was a hot buffet from 6:30-9:30. When we got there at 7:30 there wasn't anything left except fruit and making your own waffle, not even cold cereal. We waited more than 30 mins and no one came out to restock anything. The hot breakfast was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel and we didn't even get it. And when I booked, I booked a suite with 2 queen beds and it was confirmed. I was not notified until I got there that the room wasn't available. I was traveling with my elderly dad and we had to stay in two separate rooms, which was definitely not ideal.

The room was clean and comfortable. Desk attendant brought extra blankets and pillows per our request and was very accommodating. The breakfast cooking staff were exceptional. They checked on the food and hotel guests frequently and the breakfast selection was better than most hotels we have visited. We booked because of a concert nearby and it was a perfect location for us!

The pool was closed, but we easily made other plans. That wasn’t a big deal for us.

Our suite was very spacious. It’s always good when everything in the room works as expected. The breakfast was great. There was a large variety of items. We were even offered ‘to go’ boxes.

We had stayed 2 nights and upon showering the first morning I discovered the conditioner bottle was empty. As I left the building later that day I mentioned it to the front desk personnel. Unfortunately for me it was not refilled as requested.

Fast and efficient check in. Text follow up by staff seeking to confirm what I thought of my stay. Good breakfast that was COVID compliant, Overall the facility did an exceptional job in maintaining current COVID guidelines.

Noise around me in a joining rooms and above me with apparently elephant people stomping around above me. It caused me less than a good night's sleep on both nights of my stay. Specifically asked for a quiet room during my booking.

Very nice accommodations. Two rooms with all the amenities you would need staying overnight. Everything was to our liking. Clean, tastefully appointed rooms.

The water was off when we arrived, but the front desk clerk said it would be back on by 5:00 p.m. and it actually was! No complaints about that because they were trying to fix it and it wasn't an indefinite timeframe. The food was kind of lousy, but at least breakfast was provided.
