Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cambridge

VERY pleasantly surprised with this hotel. We stayed here three nights for a festival in Legend Valley. This was probably one of the best values I've ever had for accommodations. The rooms were very clean, the lobby, halls, and breakfast area were also extremely clean. The beds were super comfy, no lumps, no valleys, no bugs lol. The bedding was soft, and the pillows were fantastic. Microwave and mini fridge, iron and hairdryer in room. The AC worked extremely well for a summer stay. The rooms were quiet, and it was very full. It is also dog friendly. The daily included breakfast had many options both hot and cold. The sausage gravy was very good and they had eggs(albeit hard boiled, but they were still real eggs). The coffee, tea, and juice dispenser in the eating area was available 24/7 All of the staff was very polite and helpful. I would definitely book here again. Thanks for giving us a stress free and happy stay. You'll be my first choice the next time I blow through here

What a find! Booked 2 rooms for a great rate. Microtel is right off I-70 and is close to many restaurants, gas and shopping. Upon entry we were greeted by a smiling person who checked us in quickly. Rooms are smaller than we've previously stayed in but everything was super clean. Our room was missing kleenex and almost out of toilet paper which were replaced promptly. No smell of smoke or weed unlike other places in this price range.

Taking off one star for breakfast. When we arrived for breakfast at 9 (breakfast is 6am-10am on Saturday) there was ONE biscuit and a crock pot full of sausage gravy. Two waffles. Some yogurt. A handful of bagels and breads for toasting. This was the only disappointment during our stay. If you're good with skipping the free breakfast don't pass this place up. It more than makes up for it.

Hats off to desk clerk Taylor! She was just in her fourth shift, handling evening check-ins by herself. Traveling with my 95-year-old mother, we'd asked for two rooms together but had been put on different floors. I asked if there was any possibility we could at least get on the same floor. Taylor went to work with grace and good spirits. We ended up not only on the same floor but next door to each other with adjoining interior doors! Perfect!

Our room was clean and the staff that greeted us was very kind. Thankful for the grab bar by the shower. The breakfast was good and the staff was busy keeping everything clean and stocked.

We do wish the toilets in the room was one of the higher ones. We travel with someone who has occasional mobility issues and a higher toilet would be helpful. Also the rubber mat in the tub wasn't secure and we had a slip that could have easily ended in a fall if it wasn't for the grab bar. One of the entrance doors on the end isn't working.

The room was really clean and not as small as we expected being a Microtel. The cost was a fantastic value! Gas stations and restaurants nearby. Easy to get to from the highway. The breakfast was good but lacking things like fresh fruit and no hot food except if you made waffles. For the price you can't beat it!

As with most hotels the pillows were not very comfortable. At night we could hear the people walking around in the room above us. The parking lot seemed a bit small but we had no trouble parking because it wasn't on a weekend that we stayed there.

I honestly don’t know how they consistently have the lowest rates in the area with the level of service and value you get for your stay. extremely clean even with it being so dog friendly (which is a plus I love a dog friendly environment). even on a Monday had a hot breakfast which is an incredible value. rooms were very clean and amenities were that of a hotel twice the price.

TVs in the room COULD be upgraded so I can cast my phone to it instead of relying on basic cable but I say this because I am looking for anything to critique about my stay.

It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and it was very quiet. The location was great - just off the highway. We really like this chain and will stay here again -- and now we know what we can ask for if it's missing in the room (see the cons).

The refrigerator was not very cool and there was no way to turn it up. We had to go to the front desk to find out the cleaning people regularly remove the knobs and you have to ask for one. Why wouldn't putting it back be a part of checking that the room is ready? Also, the bathtub was VERY slippery! Again, the mats are removed for cleaning and not automatically put back! By the time you realize it, it's too late to go ask. Seems like an accident waiting to happen.

I liked everything about the property. First of all, I had to change my dates, because there was a mistake when I booked it, I called the property and a staff member was very kind, and he told me he would change it for me, but that I had to call Booking.com. I called Booking and they called the property and fixed everything for me: 5 stars for Booking and 5 stars for the hotel. The room was very comfortable, clean and big. The breakfast was simple, but I totally understand the concept of microtel: simple, clean and just what is needed for a relaxing night for a tired traveler. I’ll certainly look for microtels in my next trip! The price was very affordable, very good value for the money I paid.

We loved the convenient location as well as the breakfast and the very friendly employees! The price was really nice as well.

We had some minor issues with the AC, but it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

Minimalist room had everything I needed. It was clean and tidy with a notably comfortable bed. Quiet the night I was there.

My upstairs neighbor was up early, and I heard every footfall. Breakfast looked OK considering it was free, but not up to other chains' standards. I actually skipped out and got Tim Hortons, since we don't have that near home.
