Everything was really great, reminding me of visits when I was a child. Bringing my children here was a delightful experience and a step back to memory lane. ☺️ The Riverview was exceptional, with my own private entrance it was exactly what I was looking for to accommodate me and my children for the night while being in town for a family gathering. The pool & hot tub was wonderful and open till midnight we enjoyed that as we didn't arrive till after 5pm. The breakfast was VERY very good, best I have had at a hotel and I've stayed in quite a few in my life. It was located perfectly in the middle of town with everything you need located at the many stores along Bridge Street.

The hair dryer in the bathroom was just very small. It took a very long time. 30 minutes to dry my hair about halfway. I ran out of time to get ready as I didn't want to go past checkout. Next time I know to bring my own bigger dryer.

The breakfast was good. My two boys especially loved the chocolate waffle had a regular waffle and it was very good. The lady was very nice and courteous helpful and seems to do her job. Well place was clean stocked and ready to go. The pool was most excellent And the best thing was you keep it open till midnight The hot tub was very nice too. The room was nice clean and what to be expected. Overall experience at Christopher was a very good night. Thank you to all the staff that helped with that.

The Parking lot Was little wonky, but truly not a big deal The eggs at the breakfast they were a hard cooked fried egg presumably frozen and not very good. I had a waffle instead.😁

Pool and hot tub were clean and kept at good temperatures. Staff was friendly and attentive, breakfast was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. Right off the interstate with a good selection of food nearby. 3rd hotel we've stayed at in Chillicothe, but this will be our regular stay in the future.

There was no elevator for my mom, but it was only 1 flight of easy to use stairs, so not a deal breaker as we will be staying there on the way home as well.

What I liked: The staff was friendly and personable, #1! Ample free parking always a plus. Able to get a ground floor room easily. Hotel location a short drive to historic city center and had chain restaurants and a grocery store nearby (if that is important to you). Indoor pool and hot tub, which were very popular with families with children. Free breakfast from 6am to 9am weekdays and until 10am F-S-S. Coffee, tea, and hot water available 24-7 near lobby. Comfy beds and pillows. Newer AC/heating units that worked great. Very clean room. Working ice machine! Refrigerator and microwave, small coffee maker, cups and supplies in room.

What I didn't like: No soundproofing whatsoever. Our room was on the highway side of the building and traffic noise was very noticeable. There was a family above us with rambunctious children, so until they settled down at bedtime and when they woke up in the early morning, lots of running and jumping around. When you first enter the building there is a musty odor but I did not notice it in the room. The decor is a little outdated. The breakfast was average, but again FREE, and I'm not complaining about it, just relaying info.

The hotel is really nice, the breakfast was great, the beds were comfortable, but what really was exceptional, was the staff. The girl that checked us in was absolutely great, we received 10% discount tickets to texas roadhouse from an employee as we was walking down the hall and the lady in the breakfast room was really great! Our stay was everything and more. Thank you for your great hospitality!! Would definitely stay again.

The location to Tecumseh was great and close to many restaurants. The rooms were immaculate and the breakfast was very good. The staff was very pleasant and friendly.

I booked our room on-line, therefore I was not aware there would have been a discount beings the fact we were there to see Tecumseh. When we were checking in I told the lady we were there to see Tecumseh. She said if we would have known that, we could have given you a discount since your reasoning for being here was to see Tecumseh. It sure would have been nice if she would have given me a credit. Had i known that when I was booking it online I certainly would have taken advantage of it.

Clean, friendly staff, conveniently located, good variety for the breakfast

Because the sidewalk and drive up are the same stamped concrete pattern when leaving, if you’re not paying attention, you miss there is a curb. My friend hurt her ankle because of this and I missed it as well but was able to recoup my footings. Only 1 joining room available which, in our case, was disappointing. I had requested one, and didn’t find out until we arrived. In the breakfast room, I would suggest a small insulated jug of milk for the tea/coffee area. Wasted milk because we wanted milk in our tea and had to open a small container. A little outdated in the rooms, but still clean.

Staff was very helpful and polite. They made a point to engage in conversation. For the age of the hotel, it was kept up quite well.

Bed was not very comfortable and when we arrived in the room, the heat was turned up to 80. Needed to turn the air on just to get it comfortable again. I am sure that was just an oversight on housekeeping.

Small, clean, comfortable, easy acssess from highway.

Room by highway is noisy, however I turned heating/air fan on continuos to drowned out the noise and it was fine. Pool/hot tub doesn't open until 10:00am and check out is at 11:00 so I did not get to use them. I wanted to use hot tub, not sure why it is not open at least by 8:00am.

The breakfast was very good. Beds very comfortable. Basic room.

The window which faces the highway has a torn seal and is mis aligned. So you hear road noise as if the windows were open. This is obviously an older facility. They do an excellent job overall, the place is recommendable. Like everything in this day and age it’s overpriced. $150 for this?
