The room was spacious and clean. The morning breakfast was very good.

After a long day of loading a moving truck for our daughter, all my wife and I wanted to do was to relax and watch TV. This proved very difficult. Apparently, the property had recently switched from DirecTV to Spectrum. The Spectrum in TV "guides" that showed what networks were on what channels was inaccurate. In addition, the hotel did not provide a channel guide in the room so there was no way of knowing where a network was...very annoying. To top it off, it took 4-5 seconds to move from one channel to the next which further aggravated the situation.

The location was fine, with shopping nearby. It was convenient to interstate, for travel to and from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. I had an early flight out, so made getting to the airport easy. I did not have breakfast, as I had to leave before 6:00 AM all days.

The only things that were troubling, but not a big problem, was the remote didn't work well and the toilet. The remote wouldn't turn the TV on, but turning it on by the switch, using the remote to set to cable the TV would work. Then using the remote to change the channels, but using the TV to turn up the sound. The toilet would occasionally continue running after flushing. Jiggling the handle would stop the running.

I absolutely loved the ladies at the front desk, Paris H. and Kitara M. They were absolutely the nicest and most helpful people! Booking.com completely dropped the ball and never actually reserved my room through the hotel. Those ladies went above and beyond to get me a room before they were completely booked. I’m so thankful they were there or I would have had to drive around looking for another place to stay while the rest of my family was at that hotel. They helped me navigate through booking.com terrible customer service. They were able to upgrade me to suite for all the trouble booking.com caused. I’m so grateful for them! The hotel also had a wonderful continental breakfast and the staff was all on top of everything.

There wasn’t a thing I disliked about the hotel. My only problem was with booking.com. I won’t ever be using their services again.

The breakfast was ok and the coffee was really good.

The cinnamon rolls were not like what we usually see at the HIX. Ran out of bananas most days. The egg choices were very plain. Usually there are cheese or vegetable omelets. One day it was an egg only omelet? Did not care for the scrambled eggs.

Location was ideal. Right by Easton. The staff were the nicest and most helpful hotel staff ever.

Some of the other guests were noisy and the walls were a little thin. However, when I called the front t desk and complained they took care of it immediately.

Lobby and room were both very clean. Staff was friendly and eager to help.

I took my kids down to the pool to swim before bed and there were multiple children screaming, pushing and jumping into the pool on the shallow end. There was also multiple children under the age of 10 unattended and doing the same. A staff member came in to bring more towels which I greatly appreciated because the other children had all the other towels all over the floor. I was expecting the staff member to say something to the children about their behavior or ask where their parents were but she didn't. So unfortunately I ended my kids fun early because the other kids constantly trying to push, splash or dunk my kids. Oh and i didn't like the lack of seating. There was only one chair.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast had a lot of options and was presented in a nice way. It starting at 7 worked well for us.

When we first went to check in they told us they didn't have our reservation. We spent a half hour in the car trying to call Booking.com where we were hung up on twice. After all of that my husband went back in they had found our reservation and said the name was reversed. It was a little inconvienent and made us late for the plans we had.

Nice free breakfast, great location to the concert we were attending. Also there is a very nice place full of shops and food options only half a mile away.

Are room key would stop working randomly so I had to go down to the desk a at least 3 times to fix the issue.

I stay at this hotel for 3 days 11/23/21-11/26/21 and I loved the fact that it was very quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and delicious! The staff was also attentive and friendly. And everything from restaurants, stores, gas station etc are literally within walking distance (if you prefer to walk than drive).

The only thing that I didn't like was the elevators being unclean. There was a cup with some liquid in it on the side of the elevator floor that was there for a day. And the floor of the elevator needed cleaning because it was dirty.

Everyone was super nice! The room was very clean when we got there and it was very spacious! It was easy to find our room with the info we were given. Breakfast was a great addition that made our morning great!
